A week or two has gone by, and as the days passed, (Y/n) noticed that Jack has been on edge lately since the Vault Hunters were close. A number of employees have died due to his form of relieving his stress by killing most of them, but then they were immediately replaced by a new set of employees. There was less time spent between the two from how Jack's been extremely busy, she stayed out of his way. Recent contacts with the Crimson Raiders and (Y/n) was mostly them saying they're so close to getting her back. Her later finding out that Jack and Angel tricked them and destroying the Sanctuary before Lilith saved everyone there. Also picking up that Angel is rebelling against her father and helping the Vault Hunters, despite Jack's great dissatisfaction. It has been nothing but pure chaos as (Y/n) struggled to keep the tides calm between the love of her life and her family. (Y/n) sat in her room and studying the picture of her with the others back down in Pandora, all smiling together. She sighs before jumping at the loud slam of the front door and heavy stomps.

     "Fuck!" Jack yells as he paced back and forth, steaming in anger. (Y/n) slowly tip toed to her doorway and peaked out to see Jack pissed as ever. This was the first she's ever seen him this mad as he grabs a vase from the table and chucks it at the wall, resulting in a loud crash and her jumping slightly. "I can't believe it! Fuck fuck fuck!" He shouts and kicking the living room table over, the table crashing into pieces since the table top was made of glass.

     "Jack?" (Y/n) speaks up as she cautiously stepped out. Jack's head turns to face her and his face expresses more hate and anger than before when he sees her.

     "You!" He growled while pointing a finger at her, scowling deeply as his mismatched eyes were narrowed to slits, "This is all your fucking fault!"

     "What is?" She asks as she slowly started to get a bit scared. He lets out a bitter laugh as his eyes burned with hatred.

     "It's your fault she's dead. If it weren't for you and your fucking Vault Hunter bandits, this wouldn't have happened!" He snarled, (Y/n) slowly approached him with her hands out.

     "Listen to me, Jack. You need to calm down because you're seriously scaring me." She says shakily.

     "I shouldn't ever have taken you." He growled as he dangerously approached her and she started to back away, "This is what happens when I let my fucking guard down. Because people like you stab me in the back and take everything away from me!" Jack says as (Y/n) let out a soft whimper and backing into a wall. "All you and they ever do is betray me!"

     "Jack, please. I never stabbed you in the back, I wouldn't ever betray you." She says as her legs shook, he's lost it. Jack was completely gone and overtaken with psychotic rage.

     "You killed her."

     "Jack-" 

     "They took her away from me! They killed my baby girl!" Jack shouts at her as (Y/n) cowered a away. "And now," He starts and swiftly clasping her throat in both hands, she let out a choked gasp. "I'm gonna take you away from them!" He snarled with a deep scowl and squeezed his hands tighter, cutting off all air supply and practically lifting her off the ground. (Y/n) strains against his hold and tried to pry his hands off, kicking her feet before realizing it was no use. He was stronger and unstable. He was strangling her out of cold blood.

     "J-ack..! Sto-op..!" She choked out as her legs started to go limp, drool running down her cheek as her mouth.

     "You're just like the rest of them! Nothing but filthy fucking bandits!" Jack snarled as his narrowed eyes watched the life slowly drain from hers as they rolled back. She weakly clawed at his hands as he vision begins to fade and tears brim her eyes. Run. "Angel was fucking happy!" Run. "You and them killed an innocent little girl!" Run. He's lost it. Get away from him before he kills out of spite. (Y/n) grits her teeth together tightly and mustered up all her strength to kick him hard in the gut. He loses his grip and she falls to the floor, coughing and choking for air. Her breaths labored as she took big gulps of air and coughing. Tears run down her cheeks as she weakly got up with the suppprt of the wall. "You... You little shit!" Jack growled as she swiftly ran back to her room, staggering a bit as she slowly got her vision back. (Y/n) coughs wildly while fleeting and reaching her room, slamming the door shut in his face and locking it. She leans back against the door, wheezing shakily and letting out choked sobs as she felt Jack banging on the door. "Get back out here, right fucking now!" He snarled.

     "Go away!" She screamed at him as she slid down the door and onto the floor, her whole body shaking in fear as she curled up into a ball. The banging continues and she cried some more, she's never been this scared in her life. After a few moments, the banging stops and everything goes silent besides her whimpers and whines through her tears.

     "(Y/n)..." Jack says on the other side, his voice soft and broken, "Please come back out. I didn't mean what I said. I'm so sorry."

     "L-Leave me alone." (Y/n) cried as her heart ached. Jack leans his forehead against the door and placing his hand on it. Tears slide down his face as he felt his world and heart shatter.

     "Let me in, (Y/n)." He says, choked up a bit, "Please. I'm begging you...."

     "I can't..." She whimpered.

     "Yes you can." He insisted. There's a few moments of silence and he's about to call out to her again before he hears the door unlock. Jack slowly opens the door and peeks in, he sees (Y/n) at the far end of the room, curled up as she stares at him with a terrified expression over her tear covered face. Her breaths shaky as she scooted as far away from him as possible. He slowly approached her and kneeled down, his heart breaking more than it already was from the sight of her being afraid of him. "I'm so sorry, (Y/n)..." Jack whispered softly, "I didn't mean to hurt you... I didn't mean for you to be afraid of me... I'm so, so so sorry..." He reached a hand out to her to touch her face, she flinches hard  when his fingertips brush across her tear stained cheek. Jack swallows thickly as he gently cupped the side of her face in his hand and soothingly running his thumb over her cheek, "Please forgive me." He says in a soft plead. (Y/n) sniffs as her breaths hitched from time to time and reaching a shaking hand up to place on top of his.

     "C-Can I trust y-you...?" She hiccuped and he nods. "Then I forgive you..." Jack sighs in relief as he cupped her face with both of his hands and leaning in to kiss her. His lips move against hers almost desperately as tears went down his face. Jack pulls away from the kiss and tries to hold back a choked sob as he pressed his forehead against hers.

     "Angel's dead..." He says shakily as his hands trembled, "She's gone..." (Y/n) looked at him with sad eyes and hugged him, he holds her tight in the hug and sitting with her on the floor.

     "Let it out, Jack..." (Y/n) murmured, her voice slightly raspy. Jack bites his lips hard as he finally let all of his emotions pour out, all those years of bottling up his feelings finally being let out as he sobbed in her shoulder. (Y/n) hugs his shaking figure close to her small frame and rubbed his back soothingly. "That's it... Let it all out..." She says shakily as she closed her eyes. 

     "I thought I was doing what was best for her...!" He cried, "But she told them to kill her...! She called me an 'asshole' as her last dying breath...!" (Y/n) could feel her heart break for him as he held her tighter.

     "Who did you kill..?" She murmured. Jack sniffed as he sighed shakily.

     "Roland... And then I forced Lilith to take Angel's place..." He says and she feels her heart break in half completely. More tears roll down her face as she closed her eyes and sighed shakily. "Don't leave me, (Y/n)..."

     "I-I won't...  I'm staying right here with you..." (Y/n) says as she tried to push through her mourning for Roland's death. "But promise me, Jack. Let Lilith and the others go, shut down the operation. Let everything go, you don't need the Warrior to bring peace to Pandora. Please." (Y/n) pleaded through choked cries, "I don't want you or anyone else dying. Promise me, Jack."

     Jack grimaces and nods, holding her close, "I promise..." They both look at each other, wiping each other's tears away and leaning in so their lips are pressed together. Jack cups her face and pulls her deeper into the kiss, the kiss getting more desperate and passionate as Jack picks her up and places her down on the bed. Never breaking the kiss as he unbuttoned her shirt and she pushed his jacket off his shoulders. They pull away only slightly as they removed each article of clothing at a time. "I need you, (Y/n)...
