Y/N walked inside the infirmary with Ruby on his back. A nurse spotting the two told them to get her to the beds, and that a doctor would he with them.

Doctor: (walks up and inspects foot) How did this injury occur?

Ruby: Uhhh...We were practicing a move and I might've fell.

Doctor: This injury does not seem too serious but simply just a broken foot. Your foot should heal with your aura but it may take awhile.

The doctor proceeded to put a cast on her foot. Waiting awhile for the doctor to let them leave Ruby was coloring her cast red.

Doctor: (walks in) You two are now free to leave now Ruby. You could grab a wheelchair for the time being.

Ruby: Yes! Another wheelchair!

Doctor: Did one of you previously get injured.

Y/N: That would be me doc. You would know who I am by the name of Y/N.

Doctor: I heard of your team's case, and in my professional opinion surprised you two manage to survive and in a week no less.

Y/N: Yeah. Now Asher and I are not allowed to fight each other or students out of fear of safety for the public. Those were some good times but anyways thanks doc.

The doctor was kinda horrified by what he just said. Y/N went to grab the wheelchair allowing Ruby to move more easily but she did not want to move. As Ruby and Y/N left he wrote down a reminder to keep extra stock

Ruby: Y/N push the wheelchair please. We are going around Beacon to see how it was for you.

Y/N began to push Ruby's wheelchair through the academy's grounds. While in the hallways Pyrrha spotted the two looking concern.

Pyrrha: Are you okay Ruby? What happened?

Ruby: Thanks Pyrrha, and I'm okay. My injury happened because I fell.

Pyrrha was confused because of how Ruby did word it. Y/N looking at the situation decided to make it more confusing.

Y/N: Yeah Rubes fell really hard. Anyways bye Pyrrha. We gotta go explore Beacon now.

As they left Pyrrha was left even more confused than before. She stood deep in thought on what they possibly mean until Asher showed up with his sledgehammer which was broken.

Pyrrha: Asher. I gotta ask what happened?

Asher: Gotta fix the sledgehammer. Yang and I had a bet to see which what was stronger. My sledgehammer or her punch. Turns out I kinda forgot to say that using her semblance was not allowed.

Pyrrha: That is not what I meant at all. What happened to Ruby?

Asher: Ruby? Yeah it was tragic how Ruby fell really hard. Anyways cya later.

Asher left to go fix the sledgehammer leaving a more confused Pyrrha. Though Y/N and Ruby were moving around until she said to stop.

Ruby: Y/N stop!

Y/N: (makes the wheelchair completely stop)
What is it Ruby!

Ruby: Y/N can you please get me a drink? I'm thirsty.

Y/N: Can you wait a moment Ruby? I need to grab something real quick.

Ruby wanted to get a drink now and instead of  waiting she was to guilt Y/N. She looked at him with puppy-eyes. To make Y/N feel more guilty she moved slightly forward trying to struggle a bit in the process.

Y/N: (sighs) Fine Rubes. We will just go to the cafeteria now.

Ruby: I want a soda. Maybe grape or maybe it should be strawberry. You know what Y/N just surprise me.

Y/N: Sure Ruby just don't run off on me. He said leaving.

He did realized what he just said as soon as the sentence left his mouth. Y/N turned around to look right at Ruby expecting something out of her.

Ruby: What? Oh yeah! Can you get me a snack also?

Y/N: Sure. (comes back after a few minutes) Here is your drink and snack.

Ruby: (taste drink) Strawberry. You did knew what I wanted.

The two went back to their trek around Beacon and soon spotted Ozpin. He was with Glynda watching the academy.

Ozpin: Hello L/N or should I say Scanner, and hello Ms. Rose? It has been quite awhile since I last seen you two.

Glynda: What happened to you Ruby? Why is she in a wheelchair?

Ruby: I fell really hard when Y/N and I were practicing a new move.

Y/N: The move was gonna be called Thorned Rose. It was gonna be a barrage of knives.

Ozpin: Ruby has been practicing one of your signature moves? Have you been showing her?

Y/N: Not quite yet. Turns out when I gave her one of my throwing knives she practiced on her own.

Ozpin: A possible surprise to show you. How interesting right Glynda?

Glynda: Ruby does deserve merit as the skill must be hard to master.

Y/N: Believe me it is, and I do tricks with them as well.

Ozpin: I won't be taking anymore of both of your time, but I think you should continue at it.

Ruby: Soon I will be able to throw and catch it. Bye Ozpin and Glynda.

A few weeks passed by in which Ruby's foot did heal. All six were in their room messing around until Ruby decided to make an announcement.

Ruby: (standing up) Ahem. It is the time that Y/N and I do Thorned Rose.

Blake: Are you sure Ruby?

Weiss: I think that you should possibly wait some more time to heal.

Yang: How do you think it should go Asher? We know that Y/N is already on board.

Asher: Before I say this Ruby needs to be out of the room.

Ruby: Why?

Blake: Ruby I'm sure that he will agree also.

Ruby: Fine but you better agree Asher. She says leaving.

Asher: You two should try the move with real Grimm.

Weiss: (throws hand in the air) That is the opposite of what I meant!

Y/N: I see where Asher is going at, and this is the calculated risk I'm willing to take.

Blake: I can see this plan working but it does hold its risk.

Weiss: How will this work? What if Ruby just uses Crescent Rose to just kill the Grimm?

Y/N: We just need to make sure that none of us brings our weapons. We act like it's another practice and Asher will lure out the Grimm.

Asher: Why does is it me? Wait, never mind. I am just gonna throw rocks at them.

Y/N: Just get their attention Asher. The plan should work and if not I'll just kill the Grimm while falling back.

Weiss: Okay, so what you're saying is that this plan either relies on Ruby succeeding or that you can kill them off?

Y/N: Pretty much.

Weiss: I think it sounds-

Yang: Like a good idea. I want to watch rocks thrown at the Grimm. Maybe one of them will die by it.

Weiss: (crosses arms) Fine. Lets try the move again.

Y/N: Okay sounds good, and we will tweak the final details tomorrow without Ruby knowing.

Asher: (yelling) Ruby, you can come in now!

Ruby: Did you all decide? She says excitedly.

Y/N: Yes Ruby, but it will be done tomorrow.

Ruby: ThankYouThankYou-

Y/N: Don't thank me. In fact Weiss had the final say in the matter.

Ruby lunges, hugging Weiss. She just accepted it as it was would be more trouble trying to get her off, but after awhile struggled.

Ruby: (still hugging) If Weiss agreed then it must be a good idea.

Y/N: (tries to grab Ruby) Ruby stop it. Weiss looks like she is suffocating.

Ruby: (let's go) Oh....Sorry Weiss.

Weiss: (gasp for air) Ne..Next time. Warn the person like Y/N says.

Asher: Yeah. We can't replace Weiss.

Weiss: Why thank you Asher.

Asher: Let me finish. We need the one person who disagrees but has to go along.

Weiss: Never mind.

Blake: (goes in her bed) It's time to sleep. We need to prepare for the move tomorrow.

Ruby: But it's sooo hard. I'm just too excited.

Y/N: Ruby go to sleep without me. I'm going to go sharpen our knives for tomorrow. Also Weiss I'm gonna use your coffee machine.

Weiss: Just make sure to clean it up after your done or else you can never use it again.

Y/N: (grabs machine) Okay.

He left to sharpen the throwing knives making sure that they were in perfect condition. By the time Y/N finished sharpening all the knives the sun was rising. The pot of coffee was empty. He  got up to go and wake up Asher.

Y/N: Asher. Wake up.

Asher: Ugh. Do we wear armor or not?

Y/N: No. I need to show Ruby that is isn't the armor that lets me do this.

Asher: (tears up) You know I'm proud of you. It's like you're becoming more like me with the plans.

Y/N: Stop faking it. Sometimes we just need to take some drastic measures.

Team RWBY started waking up one by one and got ready as well. While Ruby got ready the rest of the team started finalizing the plan. With the plan finalized they went to practice. Asher and Yang left to start throwing rocks at the Grimm as part of the plan.

Y/N: Ruby, the targets are now up so are you ready to try again?

Ruby: Yeah, but where is Asher and Yang?

Y/N and the rest played along. They all tried to look for the pair, but after a bit they saw them running with Grimm behind them.

Asher: (running) Change of plans! Both of you will have real Grimm. Get ready to go!

Yang: (running) Ruby! You too!

Ruby was slightly panicking as she never did imagine that this was gonna be the real thing.

Y/N: (calmly) Ruby. Get ready. Just remember what we talked about these past weeks and you will be fine.

Ruby: (breathes slowly) Just remember what we talked about Ruby. (to Y/N) Okay I'm ready to try.

Y/N: Good. Now go!

All four of them started running at each other. As they got close Asher and Yang got into their spots to throw the two up in the air. Grabbing out the throwing knives Y/N and Ruby started to barraged the Grimm. It managed to hit most of them with the two successfully landing. After  that was cleaning up the remainder of them.

Y/N: (stops) We did it! Good job Ruby!

Ruby: We did it? (realize the Grimm are dead) We did it and it was against real Grimm!

Blake: Nice job you two.

Asher: Too think this wouldn't have happened we didn't throw rocks at them.

Ozpin came from behind a tree clapping. All six of them were either confused or scared of what might happen.

Weiss: Ozpin!? (calms down) What I mean is headmaster what are you doing here?

Ozpin: This is my academy after all and I have eyes and ears everywhere.

Ruby: Uhh...What's happening?

Ozpin: A good question that will be answered. What is happening Ms. Rose is that your team and FireTeam Mystic planned this.

Blake: Are we in trouble for planning this?

Ozpin: No, quite the contrary. You see weeks prior upon hearing this move I found it to be of interest. I decided to see if it were to come into fruition.

Ruby: Wait, so what you're saying is that all of this was planned out for me to succeed?

Ozpin: (sips coffee) Why yes Ms. Rose, but do not be angry at your team. They did had your best interest in heart.

Ruby: Why would I be mad at them? It was so cool!!!

The conspirators sighed in relief. Not only did the plan work but none of them got in trouble.

Ozpin: Now before I leave I will say this. The move shall serve you well in the future.

Blake: Can you clarify?

Ozpin: (leaving) All in due time.

A/N: I will say that this may not be updated as often as I'm now starting a new story. I tried to do an Atlas Specialist x RWBY, but accidentally made it also a Winter x Reader. Putting this in simple terms, I wrote the chapters that either is out now or will be in the future. While doing it in that direction as well. The story will have me attempting more action seeing how this is has a Atlas Specialist, and they would have missions.
