I enjoyed reading the comments Ｏ(≧∇≦)Ｏ. Well, anyway, I want to say sorry that it's been a long time since the last update so, here you go extra long chapter for Kenma. Have fun!

Kozume Kenma, one of your middle school friends that stay together with you until high school. He's one of the silent types, the total opposite of you, but you both clicked well. You always think of him as your best friend and you treasure the friendship. Sometimes you felt like you like him more than a friend but, you always make sure you denied the feeling until you heard a certain conversation. 

"Kenma! Do you like (y/n)?"  You stopped your finger from pushing the button of the vending machine when you heard your name in that conversation. Sounds like Kenma and Kuroo...Why is my name in their conversations?

You searched for the voices, only to find out that it is really Kenma and Kuroo having a conversation over their meal. You hide before continue eavesdropping.    

"She's my friend, of course, I like her"
"Not as a friend, as a girl. Means you want her to be your girlfriend. Do you ever feel like that?" Your heart is pounding hard right now. You keep on hearing the conversation. You really want to know what will his answer be.

"Why are asking me this?"
"Well, you guys are close to each other. There's maybe some kind of feeling grows between you two, right?"
"Why? Boys and girls cannot befriend without developing feeling?" You nodded your head. Actually, it's not your first time hearing this question. Your friends also asked about this and the exact same answer you gave to them. Is it wrong for boy and girl befriend?

"What will you do if (y/n) have a boyfriend later? You knew that she has a few admirers in here, right? Even though she's too oblivious to know that" I have? Who?

"...I-If she likes him too, I don't mind"
"You hesitated there. You do like her, right? Admit it, Kenma" You already nervous to hear it. Afraid that the answer will affect your friendship. Kenma, please. Don't say the word...

"...Yes! I do like her more than a friend. I want her to be my girlfriend. Satisfied? I hate you, Kuroo" Your eyes widen.
"Kenma like me? Not as a friend but as a potential girlfriend?" You placed your palm on your chest to calm your pounding heart.

"Don't you dare to tell her, Kuroo"
"Who do you think I am? Of course, I will never tell her" You heard their voice become closer to you. You choose to run before they know you were there hearing their conversation. 

"Kenma... How should I face you from now?" 

~After school, at the gym~

"(y/n)-san! You came!" Taketora shouted your name as soon as he saw you entered the gym.
"Hi! You are hyper as usual, Taketora. Of course, I will come here.  I am your substitute manager, right?" Because of that stupid conversion that you heard, you regret agreed to become their manager until the national tournament end. 

"Hello, (y/n)" You startled to hear Kenma's voice behind you.
"H-Hello, Kenma" You greeted him and speed up your walking pace to the court. You still not ready to meet him and talk to him like usual. You called all of the members and told them to do the stretching before do a little game practice as usual. When they are in the middle of practice, your eyes fell on Kenma makes your mind wander back to the conversation earlier.   

You don't know what is your true feeling toward Kenma and how you should act in front of Kenma. You admit that you feel a bit happy... when Kenma said that he likes you but, you also feel something wrong with all of this. Insecure, maybe because, you are the only 'girl' friend that he has because he's not that sociable and maybe because of that, he developed that feeling. Maybe he just confused between 'like' because of friendship and 'like' because of love. That's right, he just confused.

You take a deep breath before letting it out again to calm your heart and mind. Once that thinking graved into your mind, you smile and continue observing the practice but only to met with Kenma's gaze. You blushed and immediately move your gaze to somewhere else.

"Damn, just when I set my mind about this." You shook your head and continue observing the practice. Little did you know, Kenma still keep on looking at you, wondering your weird behaviour around him.

Kenma's pov

"Why did she keep on avoiding me?" I know (y/n) act weirdly around me since I greeted her at the gym's door. She is fine around everyone else but not me. In fact, she doesn't talk with me after replying my greet. What's wrong with her? Did I do something wrong to her? 

"Kuroo, what's wrong with (y/n)?" I asked Kuroo since I can't answer my own question.
"Huh? What's wrong with her?"
"She keeps on avoiding me. Did I anger her or something?" Kuroo looked at her and shrugged.

"She looks fine. If she's angry, everyone will see it then. She never hides her mood, right?"
"That's why I asked you. She's acting like that only to me" Kuroo placed his hand at Kenma's shoulder.
"Why don't you asked her?" My eyes keep on following her movement. Kuroo is right. I have to ask her.

~After practice~

"Okay, guys! Make sure to cool down your body. Make sure to take care of your health. The national is just around the corner. The coach will take the rest from here." (y/n) nodded to Nekomata sensei before heading to the court to clean up anything left. My eyes still on (y/n) even my head tilted to keep on seeing her until Kuroo turn my head back to the coach. 
"She still there until we finished, Kenma. Don't worry" Kuroo smirked seeing how I act. I rolled my eyes on him.

After coach ends his talk, I walk to (y/n) who's now in the storage room facing her back to the court. I tapped her shoulder, makes she turned to me and she looks surprised.
"K-Kenma! W-What are you doing here? Don't you have to head to the changing room?" I saw her flustrated face and that makes me upset for some reason.
"That can wait but, you can't" 
"W-What do you mean by that?" 
"Did I do something that you hate?" I asked her.

"No, you don't" her replies makes me relief but at the same time confused.
"Then, why are you avoiding me?"
"I am not avoiding you. I just... Well, why don't you change your shirt? You will catch a cold if you stay on the drenched shirt." she pushed me out from the storage and closed the storage's door before walking or I can say running out from the gym, leaving me stands alone.
"She's absolutely avoiding me"

Reader's pov 

"Sorry Kenma. I am so sorry. I am not avoiding you because I am mad at you but because of my heart keeps on working overtime!" You keep on chanting 'sorry' to the Kenma in your mind after leaving him at the gym.

~Tomorrow~

"(y/n)! You got a love letter!" As soon as you placed your bag on your table, your friend shouted.
"Slow down your voice, can you? Never see a letter before? Why did you assume it is a love letter? What if it is a warning letter that tells me that I have to die?" She punched your shoulder.
"What's wrong with your twisted mind? I know it is a love letter because I already read it"
"You what?" she grinned and that makes me facepalmed. Well, you don't really care about that actually because she is always like that.

"Then who is it from?" You are lazy to read it and since she already read it, you asked her.
"Sho senpai!" You surprised to hear the name. 
"Sho senpai? That popular Fuwa Shotaro senpai? Why suddenly he send me a love letter?"
"(y/n), you really don't know that you're popular too? Practically every day, there will be people who will ask me about your phone number. Of course, I never give to them and one more thing, because you are always with the volleyball team, they never dared to come close to you." All of the information is a new thing for you.

"But, even you say so, there will be no way Sho senpai will send this to me." I showed to her the letter, still doesn't believe that popular senpai wants to ask you out.
"Well, if you don't believe, why not go to see him during recess like what he asked you to do in the letter?" You sighed. Yesterday was Kenma, then today this letter. 

 ~Recess time~

You walked to the place stated in the letter and you saw a figure of someone. He really is Sho senpai!
"H-Hello" he smiled when he saw you.
"Hi (y/n), thanks for coming" you smiled nervously at him. He is a popular senpai after all.
"Since you are here, that's mean you already read the letter." you nodded.
"And you knew why I called you here, right?" you nodded. He smiled seeing the nervous you.
"I will ask you again, just in case you don't believe the letter. (y/n), would you like to be my girlfriend?" you looked at his face, searching for sincerity.

"Are you sure you want me to be your girlfriend, senpai?" you asked him.
"Well, I did ask you, didn't I? Or do you already have someone else in your mind?" Your eyes widen and your mind automatically shows Kenma's face. He takes one step in front of you, entering your personal space.
"You have, am I right? Is it Kozume Kenma?" you blushed when his face in front of you but you're redder when you heard Kenma's name. I do like Kenma more than a friend, I admit it now...If I am not, I will not hesitate to accept senpai, right?

"She's mine, Shotaro senpai. Please don't disturb her anymore" you turned around to see that Kenma is standing behind you. Before you can say anything, he pulled you into him.
"Oho, since when she is yours? I didn't hear anything saying that you both are in a relationship." he smirked.
"Now you know" Kenma moves boldly with tilting your head and move forward to your face. Just about an inch his lips will be connected with yours, you heard Sho senpai laughing.

"I don't know you can be this bold, Kenma. Okay, I give up for right now but, mark my words, I will keep on trying and I will grab any chance given to take (y/n) from you." he walked away after saying that leaving you dumbfounded. After a while, you looked at Kenma.
"How did you know I am here?" he sighed.
"I saw you walking here and I followed you. I wanted to ask you about yesterday but, instead of that, I saw a confession. Do you accept his confession?" 
"Of course not." he smiled when he heard you. 

"Then, want to be my girlfriend?" 
"E-Eh?" He really bold today.
"Your answer?" you smiled at him. It's rare to see Kenma be like this.
"Well, since you already want to give me a kiss earlier..." he pulled you into his arms and hugged you. Of course, you hugged him back.
"Thank you, (y/n). Thank you for accepting me instead of Sho senpai" you smiled.
"You know me better than him anyway. You are the only one that can calm me down when I am angry or sad" 
"Yup, only me" then he kissed your forehead before moving to your lips. Then, you heard a voice stopping Kenma from kissing your lips.

"Oi, stop kissing. Don't you guys hungry? Recess almost over" you both looked at the voice to see the owner of it belongs to Kuroo.
"Kuroo, you will die today. Trust me" Kenma glared at Kuroo before you kissed his cheeks and walked away to the cafeteria with Kenma while holding hands.

Such a hectic week, but well, I love it because Kenma is my boyfriend now!
