Percy 14

Hey guys!!! Sorry this took so long to update.. I was just super procrastinatey, and was putting this off for a while.. Without further ado, zee chaptair!!

All rights to Rick and the Makers!

Percy

I remembered using the last trickle of energy I had to cause the roof to collapse. I could see chunks of the cavern raining down around me. I watch, helpless, as a giant piece hit Cleo on the head, knocking her out. Hazel was in a similar position, on the ground. Jason and Frank were still running with me in their arms, my dead weight slowing them down.
"Guys!" Bella yelled. "Cleo is unconscious! I'm not leaving her here alone! I'm not going any further!"
I silently thanked her. That was exactly what I wanted to say, not that I had enough energy to. I was facing a bit of a dilemma. I wanted all my friends to escape, and not get captured, or killed. At the same time, I didn't want Cleo and Hazel, who were still passed out just a few feet behind us, to be left to rot.
"If she's staying, so are we!" Emma and Riki stepped forward.
"Hey, man, sorry, but, I stay with Hazel," Frank gently laid my head on the floor and walked over to hazels unconscious form. Even that slight movement made my body explode in pain.
"Is there a way we can carry all of them?" Piper asked.
I was having a lot of trouble concentrating on what was going on at this point. My vision was turning red from the pain, and I was very close to passing out.
"Not without being majorly slowed down, which is a definite capture, and may result in us being injured as well," Annabeth called.
"If Frank and Hazel are staying, I guess I can't leave them here, plus, who know what they'll do to the mermaids." Leo stepped towards the two unconscious girls.
"We obviously have no choice!" Annabeth growled. "We've hesitated too much! The monsters are right behind us, and there's no time to run! We can't use the mist because Hazel's unconscious! We have no choice but to allow ourselves to be captured!"
"No!" I croaked, and all eyes instantly turned to me. "You have to escape! Leave me, and take the others. I slow you down the most!"
"No Way!" Annabeth had tears in her eyes. "We will never leave you!"
She sat down beside me, and so did the others.
"So, capture for sure?" Piper asked.
"There isn't much we can do.. we can't possibly leave Percy, Cleo and Hazel, which is actually the only way we could escape right now. But nobody wants to leave them. The best way to get around this problem would be to send a small group of maybe 1 or 2 of us out before the monsters get to us. They might not notice there are a few missing. they can notify the gods, or camp, or someone, and hope they send help." the gears in Annabeth's brain was working in full speed, trying to find a way to survive.
The sound of the monsters yelling for blood got louder.
"They'll notice if one of the mermaids are gone. Frank won't leave Hazel. I can't leave Percy. That leaves Jason, Leo and Piper. One or two of you should go. Someone they won't notice, at least for a few minutes," Annabeth muttered.
Piper stepped forward. "I'll go. Alone."
"Piper!" Jason protested.
she moved closer and took his hand. "they need you here. They won't notice me. Don't worry. I'll be fine on my own. I know how to work the ship. I can take it to the Empire State Building." She slowly let his hand slip out of her grasp. "stay safe."
With that, she turned and disappeared down the tunnel, and I turned my head with a pained gasp to see a large group of monsters burst into the cave we were in. A group of monsters broke through the crowd and moved to the front. I recognized them as the group that had fought me when I had tried to escape. One of them snapped it's fingers, and all my friends passed out. I closed my eyes too, and drifted away.

In my dream, I was in Rachel's cave back at camp. She was once again, muttering to herself. The accurate picture she had drawn last time I had dreamt of her was still there, behind her. She seemed to be expecting something. I really hoped it wasn't another image.
Just my luck. It was another picture. Rachel began to draw, and it was almost as if she wasn't in control of her movements. She looked to be finished, and was looking around as if looking for something. Finally, she turned, looking RIGHT at me.
"This is for you," she whispered. Her voice wasn't her's though. It wasn't the oracle's voice either. It was different. Colder.
She stepped aside, still looking right at me. I shifted my gaze to the picture, and dread settled in my heart. It was even worse than the first one.
My friends were all in a circle, kneeling. Hazel was hugging Frank, and Piper was clinging to Jason. The four mermaids were holding hands, and both Annabeth and Leo were alone. All their throats were slit, swords plunged into their stomachs. I could see a look of pure pain on Annabeth's face, and I wasn't anywhere in the picture. The part that hurt me the most was that I wasn't there to be with them. I didn't get to hold her hand, to tell her it would be ok.
"This might all be your fault. Choose wisely, Son of Poseidon. You'll know what I mean soon," Rachel hissed as the dream faded away.

Ok, quick A/N.. I'm gonna change to Leo's POV in third person for the rest of the chapter, because writing as percy for this one is driving me crazy.... Hope it's not too confusing!

Leo

Leo opened his eyes groggily, and sat up, looking around. He was in a cave, much like the one Percy had been in, but much bigger. His hands and feet were shackled to wall. He looked around, and saw that he was in a circular room. The other 10 were all in similar positions, all shackled with their backs to the wall. everybody seemed to be awake already, except for Percy.
"Leo!" Hazel exclaimed. "You're awake!"
Everyone turned to him.
"So," Leo began glumly. "What now?"
"Well," Annabeth, who always had an answer to everything, replied. "we wait for percy to wake up. He might be able to make a rainbow to contact camp."
"You know, we can do that too," Cleo piped up.
Annabeth glared at her, and Cleo shut her mouth, looking a bit frightened. It seemed Annabeth was still suspicious of the mermaids.
A loud groan ran through the room, and all the heads immediately snapped towards Percy.
"Percy! Are you ok! How are you feeling?" Annabeth began to talk really fast.
Percy opened his eyes, and his face contorted in pain. Leo could tell Percy was a lot worse than he let on. He could also tell The Son of Poseidon was only being strong for his friends.
"I'm fine, Annabeth!" He smiled her, but it turned into more of a grimace. "Are all of you ok?"
They all shared looks of disbelief. Percy was dripping blood, and he was asking them if they were ok.
They all stared at him for a while, until Jason realized he was serious, and assured him we were Ok.
"Percy?" Annabeth asked.
"Yeah?"
"How did you get so... Injured? You were only captured for about an hour."
"I don't know, but the Sea of Monsters is a magic place, and time flows differently here."
"Percy?" Hazel asked, looking a bit afraid. "how long were you here?"
Percy closed him eyes. "6 months."
There were loud gasps around the room, and Leo felt the need to loosen up the tension in the room. He opened his mouth to say something funny, but for once, he had nothing to say.
The monsters were right. They were breaking the spirit of Olympus.
Suddenly, a loud bell rang 7 times.
Percy face went pale, and his eyes filled with fear.
It scared Leo to see him like that. Percy was supposed to be their fearless leader, who always stayed strong. This was a side of him that NOBODY, not even Annabeth, had truly seen.
"Percy?" Jason asked slowly. "What is it?"
"Whatever you do, don't talk back to him." Percy whispered, eyeing the door.
Suddenly, it burst open, and the slimy creature from the Iris Message burst through.
"So, Jackson! It seems my bait worked!" It gloated, slime dripping from it's mouth. "Your friends are all captured too. Now, we can have some real fun!"
He pulled out a clipboard. "Who's next?"
The monsters drool got all over the page, but the thing didn't notice.
"Oh yes! A personal favourite! A regular visitor! I think you know who this is?"
Percy nodded, his eyes wide.
"Our dear friend, Kronos!" The thing announced. It evaporated into the dirt, and another figure stepped through the door.
Annabeth gasped as she saw who it was.
"lu-Luke?" She stuttered.
'No way!' Leo thought. The famous Luke castellan was supposed to be good. This man was not.
"Not Luke, Athena Spawn, I'm Kronos now. Just Kronos. Luke is gone. This island is our headquarters, it's a place where the dead and the living can meet. It's the only place, other than Tartarus, where I can exist."
He approached Percy slowly. The son of Poseidon whimpered quietly.
It honestly hurt Leo to see Percy reduced to this. The others felt it too, judging by their looks.
It was obvious everyone knew what was coming next, because Hazel and the mermaids had already buried their faces in their hands, or at least, as best they could, being shackled to the wall.
"Don't worry, I'll go easy on you today," Kronos smirked.
"Thanks!" Percy scoffed bravely. "That makes me feel so much better!"
Kronos scowled, and pulled out his scythe. Leo had only heard of the legendary weapon, but he knew that it would cause a lot of pain, as well as severe the soul through a fatal cut.
Kronos sliced Percy across the chest with the sword, and percy bit his lip, obviously trying not to cry out. Kronos continued to make random slashes across Percy's chest, almost lazily. Percy continued to not cry out.
"I see!" the Titan Lord exclaimed. "Trying to stay strong in front of your friends. Pretend you aren't broken. But we broke you a long time ago, Jackson!"
He sneered, and Annabeth let out a pitiful whimper. Nobody had said anything, and so far, Kronos did nothing to acknowledge the rest of the demigods.
Kronos turned to her slowly, and a terrifying grin spread across his features. As quick as lightning, he darted over to her, and grabbed her by the arm, digging his nails into her skin.
"Luke! You have to hear me! LUKE!" Annabeth screamed at Kronos, who did nothing but smile.
"Hey Jackson!" He called, as if they were just friends. "How about this? If you don't scream and shout, they get to go through this instead of you!"
Percy's eyes went wide, and he started yelling at Kronos. "Fine! Don't hurt them! Please!"
Kronos grinned again, and it sent shivers down Leo's back. Kronos was doing something worse than torture. If he was Percy, who's biggest characteristic, other than loyalty, was leadership, he would hate to show weakness in front of the people he had lead. It was like percy wasn't doing his job. Leo understood that, and it only made him feel worse.
The Crooked One walked back over to Percy.
"You better give us a real good show this time," he growled, before he pulled out a vial from his pocket.
Frank's eyes widened, as if he recognized the substance, and so did Hazel.
"What is that?" Cleo muttered fearfully.
"Gorgons blood," Hazel whispered faintly.
"Oh my gods!" Annabeth sounded dazed. "The poison. The blood from the left side is a terrible poison, while the right side heals anything."
Kronos forced Percy's mouth open, and was about to pour the contents of the vial down his throat, when Percy bit him.
Kronos lunged, and made a big cut on Annabeth's arm.
She screamed, then cradled her arm, swearing. "Oh Styx! That hurts!" She growled.
"Fine! Don't hurt her!" Percy yelled.
Kronos tipped the vial down his throat, and immediately, Percy doubled over, or at least, tried to. The shackles help him back and prevented him from doing so. He began trying to claw at his throat, but couldn't do that either.
"Remember our deal!" Kronos sung, pointing his weapon towards Annabeth.
Percy began to scream. Not a regular, oh no! A spider scream, but an actually terrifying scream, filled with pain and suffering. His eyes were open, and everyone could see the pain in them. Percy began to smoke, and so Kronos forced another vial of identical liquid down Percy's throat.
His breathing calmed slightly, and the screaming stopped.
Everyone in the room were looking at Percy. Most of them were crying. Annabeth was sobbing hysterically, as was Hazel. The four mermaids looked terrified. Frank had a look of horror plastered on his face, and Jason's eyes were closed. Leo closed his eyes as well, sending a silent prayer to the gods.
"They're hurting your hero! Come help him for a change!"
He shouldn't be so harsh when referring to the gods, but Leo couldn't help it. They should know what was going on by know.
"Good job, Jackson!" Kronos was talking to a now awake Percy. "That wasn't so hard!"
Kronos now turned to the rest of them. "Which one should I take next?" He mused.
Leo stared at the Titan in shock. Kronos was about to point at Annabeth, when his hand seemed to move on its own, and moved away from her. Instead,Kronos chose Jason as his subject.
Kronos pulled his sword out again, and began to make a slow cut, going from the back of his arms. Jason cried out, trying to squirm away form the blade. He gritted his teeth and screwed his eyes shut, but still let out a little whimper.
"Aww, well you're no fun!" Kronos pouted, and turned to Hazel.
He cut her across the cheek, and she cried out. Her face twisted in pain, but she fought to keep her expression neutral.
It hurt Leo to see Hazel hurt. She was like his little sister, and anything that hurt her had to answer to Leo.
He tries to use his fire powers, but nothing happened. Something must have been blocking his powers.
Frank was also growling slightly.
"You're not fun either!" He turned to Frank.
He sliced through Frank's left arm, causing a large cut.
Franks eyes began watering, and his face twisted like Hazel's.
"Stop!" Percy yelled. "Whatever you want to do, you do it to me! you came to see me! So let them go, and do what you want to me instead!"
Kronos grinned. "You asked for it!"
Kronos held out his hand towards the ceiling, and water spilt into the room.
Percy seemed confused, as Leo was too. Water would only strengthen Percy. it would heal him.
"I'm afraid I'm running out of time," Kronos announced. "You'll find your next guest just as fun as me."
On that happy note, he turned on his heels and strode out of the room.
The door opened again, seconds later, and and a tall man with green hair and armour walked in. Leo recognized him as a shorter version of the giant Polybotes, the giant Bane of Poseidon.
Percy gasped when he saw him, his minor injuries still slowly healing from the salt water that the cave was now knee deep in.
"This is my first time with you, isn't it?" The giant sneered.
Percy just glared.
"I once told you, that I would like to torture you under the sea. This isn't exactly the Sea, but it's the closest I can do for now." Polybotes grinned, and the water pouring down slowed, then stopped.
Percy watched the water wearily. Slowly, almost tauntingly, the bane of Poseidon reached down. His fingers grazed the water, and the entire surface of the water turned green. The poison in the water ignored the rest of the people in the room, who were all either quietly crying, or trying to use their powers.
The poison travelled instead, towards Percy. The green water began to circle him, and Percy tries to lean away from it. As soon as the water touched him, he drew in a sharp breath.
All the cuts that had just been healed began to reverse, becoming worse than before, and tinted green. Percy began to shiver, looking exhausted.
"Nice poison, isn't it?" Polybotes asked cruelly.
"Very nice, yes," percy smiled at the giant sarcastically.
"I also remember wondering what my poisonous touch would do to your blood. After all, the sea does run through you. Let's see, shall we?"
Polybotes placed a hand on Percy's arm, and Percy started to turn pale, alarmingly fast. He quickly broke into a sweat, and started to say something, gritting his teeth. The giant leaned in to hear Percy better.
"Could you move back a bit? Gods, your breath stinks!"
Polybotes growled, and tightened his grip on Percy's arm.
Percy began to scream, and Leo could see his veins turning green, moving up his arms. He wanted to close his eyes, or cover his ears, but he just couldn't look away. Nobody could.
Suddenly, the room of the cave exploded, rocks turning into tiny stones, raining down on them.
Leo looked up, squinting against the bright sky outside. It was probably evening, but the sky was still much brighter than the dark cave.
There, he saw someone that Leo was almost certain was Percy. Then, he realized it was Percy's dad, Poseidon.
"Percy!" The God  yelled, and jumped down towards him.
Polybotes still had his hand on Percy, who's voice was beginning to crack from shouting.
As he got closer, Poseidon seemed to be taken aback by the extent of Percy's injuries.
He pointed his trident at Annabeth, and her shackles flew off the walls, freeing her.
She pulled out her dagger, and went for Polybotes, tears in her eyes.
She attacked with a ferocity Leo had never seen in her, even during the war. Her moved weren't as well calculated as usual. Her slashes were angry, and violent, but dead on.
Poseidon fought with equal intensity, turning to green poison back into water with every step.
Leo turned his attention to his shackles, wondering if he could use his powers now.
He tried to light his hand on fire, and it worked. Leo quickly burnt through the shackles on his hands and feet. As soon as he was done, he quickly moved on to the others, freeing them one by one. Leo watched the battle as he worked.
Polybotes was now backed into a corner of the now open cave.
The son of Gaea gave a shout of surprise before Annabeth's weapon and Poseidon's trident both impaled him through the stomach at the same time. Polybotes dissolved into shimmering dust, and both of them turned their attention to Percy at once.
"How'd you find us?" Annabeth asked.
Leo freed Jason and moved on to Cleo.
"Piper McLean told us, and I felt Percy's presence in sea water, and I traced it here." Poseidon gestured bitterly at the water flooding the cave around us.
He used his trident to free Percy, and caught him, just as he passed out.
Leo moved on to Frank, working frantically. Hazel was using her power over precious metals to begin trying to free Rikki.
In a few seconds, they were all out of their restrains.
"We need to go before anyone comes to check on us," Jason told the God.
Poseidon just nodded, cradling Percy's body protectively to his chest.
"He'll be ok, right?" Annabeth asked Hazel, sobs shaking her body as she looked at Percy's bloody body.
"He'll be fine, Annabeth," the daughter of Pluto assured her.
Annabeth nodded, and buried her face into Hazel's shoulder.
"First, we need to get him proper care," Poseidon declared.
Suddenly, Apollo appeared in a bright flash behind them.
"This is worse than you described, Poseidon!" Apollo exclaimed, leaning beside Percy.
He raised a hand to his wrist, and checked his pulse.
Apollo looked up slowly.
"He's gone."

Ok.. That was a really sucky chapter, and once again, I am sleepy. I'm also a bit thirsty. Anyway, I will update the exit chapter only in I get at least 15 COMMENTS on this chapter. I've been getting very little comments lately, and that makes me sad, so yeah. Anyways, hoped you liked this poop chapter, and au revoir!
