21 - We Fight To Kill
Jeongin had not let Yeseul out of his sight after the discovery that Kwon Jaemin was no ordinary person.
He was a demon.
And a dangerous one at that.
Everyone had agreed that it was no longer safe to be alone, and Hyunjin had offered up his mansion as a base to be protected from whatever the Kwon boy chose to do.
The spring break had given some relief to Yeseul as she wouldn't have to worry about hundreds of assignments or the matter of going to university and facing the boy she knew was trouble.
Hyunjin had many rooms in his mansion as well as a group of servants at his beck and call. He had offered Yeseul a whole chamber to herself, but she found herself clinging to Jeongin, not wanting to be far from him at all.
Ever since their closeness back at her apartment, she felt a stirring in her heart, a desire that had been closed off for so long.
"We need to deal with him as soon as we can," Changbin muttered, a black nightrobe wrapped over his stocky figure. Everybody was preparing for bed, and Yeseul had her own hair in a plait, silk pyjamas engulfing her figure. "We need to sort him out,"
"How?" Jeongin emphasised. "He's probably sorting out an army whilst we're here trying to figure out his whereabouts,"
"Oh, I know where he is," Felix said quietly, earning all the attention on him. "He's living near the cemetery, isn't he? He's waiting for us to come to him,"
"And we're just going to stupidly follow that?" Jisung snorted. "Not a chance!"
"But maybe that is what we should do," Chan said, slowly. "We surprise him. An ambush, he would never see it coming,"
"When?" Minho questioned.
Hyunjin glanced at each of the boys as well as Yeseul. "Three days?"
"Perfect,"
...
"Are you going to go with them?" Yeseul whispered into the darkness as the Yang boy switched off the lights, his figure brushing her's as he climbed into the bed alongside her. "Are you going to fight with them?"
"Of course I am," He answered, his voice equally as low. "They're my hyungs, and I need to protect them. It's my duty,"
A silence engulfed them as both regarded the seriousness and drasticness of what was going to happen in three days.
"C-Can," Yeseul said softly. "Can he kill you? Jaemin?"
Jeongin paused before he replied. "Yeah," He said gently. "If he has enough power, he can,"
Yeseul swallowed down the rising bile in her throat, not wanting to think about the possibility of Jeongin, or any of the boys not coming back. Not being alive.
"Don't die," Was all she said as she shifted her frame to face him, wrapping her smaller arms around his waist. "Then who's going to pester me for food?"
The Yang boy simply chuckled, pulling her petit structure closer to his larger frame, his hands playing with her lovely, dark locks, feeling her smooth skin.
He was whipped.
