Luxa's POV

The rat said without turning around. "I know you are there so there is no point in hiding, come out." I gasp how did he know we were here. Then I remeber that rats had an amazing sense of smell and that not much can hide from them.

We all come out of the tunnel cautiosly. He turns toward us and inspects us. He looks unimpressed. He calls for guards. I reachfor my sword and so does Gregor. More rats come in. They grab us, chain us to the wall, and gag us. Then they are told to leave and the one who was in charge comes toward us and sits down in front of us. He looks me straight in the face and asks. "Would you like to know whta I am going to do."

I try to scream no through my gag but it doesn't work. So he continues on speaking. "I plan on sacrificing the small cockroach princess to save my kind from the Flesh Plauge." Gregor starts screamig and trying to break the bonds that are holding us to the wall but they don't break. The main rat ignores  him then says. "I forgot my manners I am Bloodclaw and I became the leader after the plauge started, in fact I'm the one that let the plauge loose. So anyway, the one you call Boots shall be sacrificed and then I will set you free to go and tell your leaders and start  a war." He laughs maniacally. Lizzie tries to speak and he takes off her gag so she can speak. "You forgot that you are techanically Ripred's leader." He nods and turns to Ripred and takes off the bonds and the gag. We are all confused but poor Lizzie is the most. Ripred turns to us and says. "I'm sorry but I had to the disease infected the only family I have left. I had to. I'm so sorry."

Lizzie turns her head refusing to meet his eyes and I can tell it pains him. Bloodclaw looks outside and says that it is time and tells the guards to bring Boots in. She comes in giggling and when runs over to us when she sees us. Bloodclaw calls her over and she does as he says. He lifts her up and places her on the alter and tells her to close her eyes. He lifts up the knife but before I tell him to stop and that I will do it.
