Itsuka froze here scream coming at the exact same time mister Yamada yelled out "GOOOOO". and now she just turned around and walked away off of the podium "You see this is why I disagree with the entrance exam people with strong flashy quirks made for direct combat will get in easy but people like Shinso will have a hellish time even getting a single point against actual people there nearly unbeatable but against robots its pointless for them to even try". This shocked the stadium for two reasons one because Aizawa spoke of his own volition and two because he was giving out praise that wasn't immediately followed by a snarky comment or just straight up insult..

There where a few matches before Izuku's fight Kirishima tied Kaminari got his ass kicked by a pacifist and a few other things impressive but his first match was against Uraraka and he was up now.

"Hay Ochaco you w n't judge me if I beat you down to badly right". "Hahaha same goes for you Izuku but just don't go easy on me". Izuku made the okay sign with his left hand knowing she wouldn't hear him over Present Mic. And after the screeched out introductions Izuku was off hoping for a quick win he just did a flying kick but Ochaco nearly touched and if that happened game over he might be able to move through the air but it took a lot more effort than you might think and without any weight he'd throw himself out of the ring. So he pulled back but followed up with a blast of energy however it dissipated before she left the ring not being able to withstand contact with other living things there a joke in there somewhere but he couldn't be bothered to find it right now.

Izuku sent two blasts of power towards her kicking up so much dust he couldn't see so he released some energy all around him he felt two objects coming towards him but the one in front of him was to light so pivoting in one foot he brought his leg around and kicked Ochaco back following up with a punch to her stomach and a blast of power. This is when it started people where booing him really fucking really as if he didn't have enough to think about keeping her back now he had to deal with the fucking crowd complaining speaking of keeping Ochaco back she was up to something that much he knew she wouldn't just keep in charging in without an ace up her sleeve. "Will you all shut up he's trying to win this competition same as everyone else and he knows one slip up means he'll be out and you the moron who started this bullshit your in the heroes section so tell me why is it you think he should be holding back against her do you hold back against villains if there female no well than shut up".

Aww Aizawa you do care. Izuku side stepped Ochaco's attack and kept his eye out for the next but than he noticed her do something weird she put her hands together like she did when releasing an object oh shit his head snapped and he saw all of rubble he had made by accident fall down towards him building a huge barrier to block a small amount of the rubble it only held the stone for a short while. However he had to focus solely on hold the rubble aloft and Uraraka took advantage of this rushing forward to punch him in the stomach. This failed spectacularly the barrier breaking Izuku barely managed to block the rubble around him and Ochaco with a cone and even then two pieces of the ribble struck Ochaco one on her leg the other her shoulder they where both broken. That's how he won the first match all though he did get a lot of flak from his class mates for it against Tokoyami it was an easy fight because even if it was green it was still light and he sliced cleanly through dark shadow.

Kirishima held him off for awhile though despite losing before Tokoyami. Izuku stupidly went for hand to hand against Kiri which landed him with a broken rib though it was quite the display to see two people using their hands as sword and accidently slicing through concrete Midoriya eventually one out by just going offense and ignoring all wounds there only so much a quirk like hardening can take before it all falls apart and he found it.

And the final event was coming up Izuku vs Shoto the two strongest kids in this school who had from the audiences perspective merely toyed with there opponents the truth for Izuku at least was that he was running on empty and bound to lose but he'd rather try his best and fail miserably than withdraw and never know.
