Monsters roam the night when the blood moon rises.

Killian Wolfram has always worn his heart on his sleeve, but after a heartbreaking betrayal, he's sworn off love forever. Night drinking only eases the pain for so long, until a desperate cry for help lures him out into the forest. The most handsome and ethereal vampire he's ever laid eyes on is in danger, and Killian's the only one for miles who could even try to save his sorry fangs.

If vampire detective Aven Grimm thought his night couldn't get any worse, then he was sorely mistaken. After poking his fangs where they certainly did not belong, he follows a lead out into the forest of Eversley, where a killer is rumored to be hiding. However, the vampire detective stumbles upon something far more horrific.
