This is how Readers & Authors find you. It's your trademark whereby users recognise you & your work.

Wattpad is like a labyrinth...
You can forget to find anything ever again once you've lost sight of it.

Fans don't keep up with changes!
We don't receive a notification stating that
"Your favourite author has updated their username!"

Furthermore, when someone mentions a user with the "@" icon, that exact name stays the same and doesn't change to your new updated username!

Which means we can't find you anywhere.
It's like you vanished off the face of the earth 🚀

And who knows,
Maybe you could've lost a dozen of
Fans & Followers due to the fact that you constantly change your profile ?
