imagine you’re driving home one night after a date with harry and it’s dark and it’s raining really hard but luckily there isn’t much traffic and you haven’t been dating long but you have really strong feelings for him and you kinda wanna tell him you love him but you don’t wanna be the one to say it first so you just sit there quietly while his thumb tickles across the skin on your thigh and you can tell he’s deep in thought because his eyebrows are furrowed and he keeps chewing on his lip but you’re trying not to stare so you look out the window then he pulls into your driveway and you both kinda stare at each other and he leans over to kiss you goodnight and his lips feel so soft against yours before you pull away and say goodnight and bite back what you really want to say and get out to run inside and you’re barely out of the car but you’re already getting soaked from the rain so you jog around the front but then you hear him call your name and your heart is pounding in your chest as you turn and stand perfectly still in the downpour and you see him get out of the car and the rain is pelting down on him and his hair is getting all floppy because it’s too long to withstand the water and he runs over to you and takes your face between his hands and he says he’s in love with you and you can’t even respond so you just kiss him as hard as you can before you pull back and say that you’re in love with him too and I’m really, really single.
