black clouds

they hide the silver linings

or

so it seems

they hover

move with us

block the sun

like a constant shadow

they lurk

popping up

at the worst of time

spoiling

denying

frustrating

irritating

degrading

defeating?

?????

or

are they just 

a figment of an imagination

looking

for an excuse

the silver linings do exist

but we are far to quick

to 

dismiss them
