'Ink' makes some assumptions and his interest in Karma grows.

FGOC Multiverse
'Ink' eventually managed to calm himself down and started to think about what he would need to do next. Thankfully he didn't have to think too hard as the next day Oneiro asked Heart to babysit again, making it much easier to keep an eye on Karma.
The first few days he stayed away and just sensed them with his magic, still feeling slightly nauseous from remembering them begging him not to give them paint as if he would ever do that, he knew what it was like .
It was on the fifth day of Heart being asked to babysit, that he joined in. Sitting in the living room he had pretended to draw, while keeping a watch over the babybones. He had a slim hope that perhaps he had taken things out of proportion and that there was a perfectly reasonable explanation to their words.
That illusion was soon shattered when he observed the intense stare they gave him any time he picked a paint vial or the way they clutched their chest as if in pain, when he drank paint. Their reaction was worse when he sat closer to them, as whenever he turned towards them they looked at their vials as if they were about to jump out and bite them.
They surprisingly calmed down after a few days but that hardly helped to soothe his nerves. It was when he was showing them how to shade their drawing and physically moved their hand to show them, that he spotted tiny flecks of colour scattered in their bones. It might not be obvious to most but as a Creator he had an eye for the smaller details.
He used to have the same issues with his bone, but thankfully his body eventually learned to filter the paint correctly, after it got used to having no physical SOUL in his body.
It made him cringe at the signs of physical damage he could spot, each time he was near them but he slowly got used to it. Thankfully he saw no possibility of paint being given to them now but with the power Oneiro seemed to emit, he was wary of ruling out the possibility just yet.
It was a week later that things took a rather alarming turn. He sat in the living room and watched as the two SwapDreams fussed over the babybones, with Heart watching in amusement.
"Are you hungry, Karma? One of us can feed you magic before we go?~"
"I'm good, Oneiro"
"If you are sure. Don't forget that Goth is here and has no issue with feeding you~"
"Ok. Have fun"
"We will~"
'Ink' would have felt offended by not being asked but with the way the babybones still shivered when he moved too fast, he wasn't that surprised. The two might be insane but they were observant.
He started to set things up in the middle of the room like usual but jolted at the loud voice ringing out.
"Sans! Sans! Mom said I could come over as long as you allowed it. Can I stay? Who is staying? Can I meet them?"
He tensed at hearing the fallen human Frisk voice, hating how he had to create them. Before his mother came along, they were just a random child that became friends with the monsters and helped to free them but with the added changes, now they could be anything.
The first time he witnessed a Genocide Run it took everything he had not to be sick at the sight of what was happening, even if mother seemed overjoyed at the new storyline that could now occur. Not to mention those vile powers he was forced to give them to 'liven up' the story even more.
The door to the room they were in slammed open and 'Ink' shuddered at the look on the human's face. You would never be able to tell all the atrocities they committed when they looked like that, which just made it so much worse.
"Hey! My name is Frisk! What's yours? What are you doing? Fancy exploring the place?"
He was glad Heart pushed the human out the room, as his hold on pencils were growing tighter and he could feel his magic begging to erase the blight on his multiverse. He knew he couldn't just yet, as he had to be free before he could even consider doing anything like that.
"Hey sweetheart. She is gone, it's fine. Why don't you show Ink the drawing you were doing? I am sure he would love to see it"
He looked up as Karma was placed beside him and softly spoke to them about what they could create next. He felt them briefly stiffen when he accidentally brushed against their wings, before they leaned further into him. He would need to be more careful in the future so as to not do that again, as he didn't want to frighten the babybones more.
He grimaced when he heard Frisk's voice ring out yet again, despairing that they would most likely have to deal with that pest for so much longer.
"Sans? Will you introduce me to some others?"
He scowled at hearing Sans names, hating how arrogant the other was. Most assumed he favoured the Original and that he considered them his greatest creation, which was the furthest from the truth. They were just like the rest in his mind and he held no love for any of them..not anymore. Mother really had tainted how he viewed his multiverse and he was unsure if he would ever be able to stay here if he became free.
He went back to drawing and tried to ignore Frisk popping in every so often, keeping an eye on the clock for when Karmas caretakers would be back. He might be suspicious of them but he knew they were possessive of the babybones, so would easily dispatch the pest.
He was becoming more tense as the hours passed and observed how Karma became more jumpy as time went on. He watched as they ripped threads from their scarf due to stress and had to quickly intervene, before they went for their own feathers.
When an hour had gone by without the pest appearing, Heart had gotten up to go and grab some snacks. He had foolishly let his guard down, as when he next looked up the human was standing beside Karma, with a stupid grin on their face.
"Now that the boring skeleton is gone we should play!"
He stared in disbelief as they chattered on, with Karma's wings falling in distress at the lack of personal space. Glancing around he saw no one else was here, so was sure he could be quick enough to dispatch the human and with the distinct magic he could feel coming off Karma, he was sure they wouldn't care.
Annoyingly Heart soon came back, so he settled on glaring at the human and was appalled at what they were about to do.
"Your wings are so cool! Can I touch them? They look so soft"
Monsters wings were personal and he was sure that AU's Toriel must have taught their 'child' that. Were they truly that arrogant to think nothing would come of this? When he saw them casually touch the babybones wings he had no time to react before a dark pressure filled the room.
......... You feel your sins crawling on your backYou feel your sins crawling on your backYou feel your sins crawling on your backYou feel your sins crawling on your backYou feel your sins crawling on your backYou feel your sins crawling on your back ......
'Ink' felt his eye shapes flicker in distress at the magic pouring off the child and started to worry if they could control it. When he was about to try and smother it with his own magic, the SwapDreams appeared and easily cleared the room of the majority of the uncontrolled magic.
He collapsed onto his front, at the sudden change of pressure, looking at the child in a new light. He was curious how they had Judge magic, as in most multiverses he visited only particular skeletons received it. He was tempted to check their Code for any other abnormalities, as they just seemed to be full of surprises.
He looked at the human and felt the urge to giggle at the fear he could spot on their face, with multiple sharp yellow bones close to impaling them. Served them right. He was a tad disappointed he wasn't closer to hear what the SwapDream towering over the human was saying but he did not want to blow his cover.
After all, he was supposed to be just another monster trapped in this AU and 'powerless', no one important at all.
"It's ok, little raven. I'm here. There is no need to panic. We can have a nice cuddle with some hot chocolate. How does that sound?~"
"You know something, Onioro? That probably tired, little aster out and i know that human SOULS have a lot of energy~"
...he had never heard of monsters casually eating SOULS before, apart from the Parasite of course, as he knew how detrimental it could be for them. Just what kind of weird place did those lot come from?
He was impressed that Heart managed to stand up, under the angry magic of the two SwapDreams and get closer to the one holding Karma. They truly were a kind and compassionate monster, caring for a child before their own safety.
"You need to circle your magic around them and slowly infuse it in their body. Then you use it to help guide their magic"
"Wha-"
"They are letting out too much magic, Oneiro. This process will help calm their magic and realise that there is no danger nearby"
He intently listened to the discussion, using his magic to subtly analyse the process. It was always fascinating to see the things his creations could come up with all by themselves and he felt his admiration for Heart grow.
When he heard Karma chirp and the magic coming off them stop, he sighed quietly in relief. That had been a lot of magic and for such a tiny monster and it must have been exhausting.
"It's ok sweetheart. Your parents are right here. They are holding you so you can rest now"
When Karma closed their sockets he saw the two SwapDreams get closer to Heart.
"What happened, Heart. We want to hear everything~"
He sat up and watched the 'interrogation' but kept his focus on the babybones. He had originally given others Judge magic to help them see his role was not voluntary but of course that had been a failure.....Did the child realise?
He stiffened when the single eyelight from Karma stared at him, making him feel far too seen for his liking.
"What is going on here?! Frisk! Are you ok?"
'Ink' stood up just as Sans barged in, almost impressed with their lack of self-preservation skills, at causally pushing past the two clearly enraged monsters. Did Sans not realise that as this AU was locked, that the child could not use their power? How amusing.
He walked past the others and made sure to grab Heart and lead them outside. He stared at the back of Wines skull with intent, glad at least some of his creations knew how to survive.
They would need it when he inevitably left this hell for them to deal with.
~~~~~
'Ink': Things are surprisingly peaceful today. I won-
*Frisk bursts in the house, running around like crazy*
'Ink':.. I forgot that i created that. Surely its not too late to erase it?
-
'Ink': Karma is such a delicate looking babybones. They are probably quite weak
*Karma unleashing Judge magic in panic, causing everyone nearby to collapse*
'Ink': *Shakily standing up*..well, that was unexpected
