FGOC Multiverse
Karma woke up and blearily opened his sockets, unsure where exactly he was. He felt too warm and realised there was a heavy cover on him making him kick it off in irritation. When it finally came off he sighed in relief at the cool air on his bones but was confused how he had gotten here.
Waking up like this almost reminded him of being with his brother again but the lack of other SOUL near him shattered that thought.
He sat up and searched for his scarf, chirping in happiness at seeing it lying next to him and quickly put it on. He played with the beads, liking how the magic in them felt against his and it helped to further calm him down from the strange new surroundings.
Feeling more awake he jumped off the bed, not bothering to look around this new room. He was hungry and wanted comfort, nothing else mattered at the moment.
He stumbled out of the room, focusing on getting towards the familiar SOUL downstairs. Rubbing his face with his sleeve he looked closer at his outfit, realising his clothes had been changed. It was too dark to see them clearly but they were nice and soft, which was the most important bit in his mind. Shaking that thought off he instead focused on going down the stairs, determined to get to Oneiro.
He hadn't had a chance to explore this new place yet so was getting rather confused at how to navigate in order to get to Oneiro.
He grinned when he pushed open a door into a kitchen, pleased at finally spotting Oneiro, who was facing away from him. Shuffling closer he tugged their coat and lifted his arms, weakly tugging at their magic in hunger.
When they turned to look down at him, his smile fell at realising this wasn't Oneiro. Being this close he could now feel the slight differences, making his wings droop in sadness. ...Where had Oneiro gone?
"..sorry"
He started to walk away, upset at how hard it was to find Oneiro in this place. He squeaked when he was picked up, unsure what was happening.
"Don't worry, little aster. I don't mind~"
He stiffened when he was brought to their chest, while they nuzzled his skull. Their magic helped to quickly calm him down, as it felt so similar to Oneiros. He pushed his face into their neck and started purring at the warmth they gave off, though he did twitch when a hand stroked against his back.
"By the way, you can call me Sol~"
Sol was enjoying the calm intent coming from the babybones and smirked at feeling the slight bond that linked them to him. He had heard that there was another variant of himself here but didn't think they would be so interesting~.
He had briefly seen them in passing but not the little star in his arms. It had been three days since they had been here and was he curious just what the babybones had been up to.
Slight whining from his arms led the decision to head to the back door, as he was sure the view would help to calm them. Stepping outside he instantly raised his magic, as he could feel a shiver from the babybones. It was one of the useful perks of his magic, that it did heat his surroundings.
He snorted as he heard chirps of hunger and he sat down on a bench, getting into a more comfortable position.
"Help yourself, little aster~"
He had never tried to feed another before, so he fully let them control the process. He knew that if he ever had a child he would have fed them himself, so was unworried about harming them. The other him had formed a parental bond safely after all~.
Minutes later they looked much more energetic and started to look around their new location. He smirked when they finally spotted the stars and he cooed at their quiet chirps and flapping wings. He turned them so their back was against his chest, allowing them a clearer view of the night sky.
Oneiro finally revealed himself, pleased at how protective and aggressive Sol became at his sudden appearance, before eventually calming down when seeing him fully. This was an excellent choice of monster on Novas part but he tried to squish the jealousy building inside him, at how happy Karma looked. Nova could be so spiteful~.
He leant over the back of the bench, unsurprised that Karma was so close to falling asleep again. He took out a blanket from his inventory and threw it over the two, uncaring at how his variant was twitching in unease at his proximity.
He gently turned Karma's skull towards him, frowning at their fuzzy eyelight. They would most likely be out of it again for a few days, considering their SOUL was working at a lower capacity at the moment.
"Going by your expression i gather this isn't usual?~"
Oneiro moved to sit beside Sol, shifting his wings to avoid bumping into the others. His silence on the question spoke volumes, as did his unwavering gaze he had on the babybones.
Sol sharply watched the other him before shifting his gaze to little aster, when he heard snoring. Slightly annoyed at how small the bench was, especially for two large monsters, he just managed to cradle Karma closer to him without an issue. He adjusted the blanket to cover them up more, as he didn't like the way they were shivering, despite having both of their magic generating so much heat.
Sol spent the majority of the night staring at the sky, occasionally glancing at his variant in curiosity. They spent hours outside and stayed just as the sun was coming up.
This AU wasn't the worst place to be stuck in and now with the two latest additions he was sure things would become much more lively. As the birds started to sing he was nudged by Oneiro, making him hum in question.
"We should head inside before the others get up. They can be rather nosey~"
Sol silently agreed, knowing Sans would bug them to know why exactly they were out so late. Not to mention Dream, who would mostly likely lecture them on 'how to look after a babybones'. Such a boring variant. He was so glad he never became that.
He could see Oneiro getting ready to grab Karma so he swiftly stood up, heading towards the house. He smirked at the jealousy coming off the other and ducked into the kitchen, unsurprised to see Blue up so early.
"MORNING SOL! DO YOU WANT AN—-UHH. SORRY BUT WHAT'S YOUR NAME?"
Sols smirk widened when Oneiro stood next to him, realising how much fun he could have with this. Sharing a glance with his variant who cheerily laughed, it was confirmation enough of the plan.
This would be great~.

The next few days were rather amusing with no one completely sure who they were talking to. Sol had observed how they hardly had any visible differences but after Oneiro helpfully shared some clothes the disguise was complete. It helped that they were very similar personality wise and no one here was truly close to either of them to call them out on it.
Playing as each other was great and Sol was aiming to make Dream cry in frustration, at repeatedly getting the names 'wrong'.
"Sol? I need you for so-"
"Sorry Dream but I'm Oneiro. Sol is next door~"
"O-Oh. I am so sorry!"
Of course neither responded to whatever named Dream called them, which just made the 'game' go on for even longer. When they grew bored with them their next target was the FellSwap Sans, called Wine. It was the one case he was pleased with how many AU's this Ink created, as they managed to make such a fun new toy~.
Wine looked too stiff for their liking but Sol approved how they were the only one who truly realised how dangerous he was. Favourites should be rewarded, even if they were rather hard to catch truly alone~.
Days passed like this but he could see how on edge Oneiro was becoming the longer they did this. While not outwardly admitting he too was slightly worried that Karma was still sleeping. He had even started visiting the babybones, even if Oneiro had looked at him suspiciously at first.
He was surprised when the second day he snuck in the room they dragged him fully in before saying they could visit, as long as they helped expel magic in the room for their child to passively absorb.
He had no issue with this condition and it even helped to keep his cover of being Oneiro.
It was on day four that their fun came to end and just as he could see Blue starting to crack. He had never seen them truly rage yet.
He was currently hovering over Red, smirking at how angry they were becoming the longer he stayed here, when little asters voice rang out.
"Sol. I'm hungry.."
He cooed at their pjs, finding the black fabric that was dotted with rainbow stars absolutely adorable. Oneiro had good taste~.
"Sol?! You said you were Oneiro you fu-"
"Now now. None of that. There are children here after all~"
Sols voice might have been mocking but his sharp grin and glowing eyelights, belayed his playful words. He landed on the floor easily, before picking Karma up and raising his magic like before.
"Let's go see what fun Oneiro is having. He will be so happy you are awake~"
He headed where he last felt Oneiro, intending to interrupt their warfare they were waging against the original Sans. He had no idea what they had against the other but he truly didn't care. Sans was just another fun monster to target~.
He knew Red would rudely spread the knowledge of the game they had been playing, so he might as well get his last bit of entertainment by ruining Oneiros. He didn't bother being quiet before he opened the door, loudly calling out the others' names.
"ONEIRO!!~"
He saw their wings flare in anger at the interruption, before they visibly softened when Karma chirped at them.
Sans could feel his instincts blare when he was in the room with either of these Dreams. It was so much worse when they were together, making him glad neither was from his multiverse.
He hated how many of his alternatives were stuck in this place but he was confused how he got some from other multiverses. He didn't even know that was a thing, until Ink merely looked at the creepy Dream and casually named the place they came from before heading off. He had made sure to corner them to ask for further answers but that had only confused his mind more. Just how much did that guy know?
He despised that stupid machine and had no idea why he had even started working on it. It was like he had been compelled to do it...shaking those thoughts he warily looked at the two monsters, feeling suffocated under the magic in the room.
He took a step towards the door and froze when they both looked at him, with the babybones joining in. He felt like he was in a room with a hungry pride of lions and could feel his hands shaking in his pockets.
"Sans? Are you busy?"
Thank you Dream for having such great timing! He almost wept in relief when the heavy pressure lightened, just as Dream entered the room. The twos gaze shifted to the Positivity Guardian before they dismissively looked away, going back to fussing over the babybones.
"...is everything ok here?"
Sans wanted to scream at Dream. He was so close to leaving, why would he attract their attention?!
When Oneiro hummed, Sans saw how Dreams eyelight shrunk at the intense stare. He was glad that Dream finally realised the danger they were in. He was starting to get worried that them being around the Creator had lowered their IQ.
He shivered as Oneiro brushed past him, to tower over Dream instead.
"Can you raise your magic for me, Dream?~"
"W-W-What?"
"They are a bit slow, Oneiro. Maybe try to use simpler words?~"
Sans could see Dream grimace but they thankfully kept their mouth shut. He thought it had been bad when Fell type monsters had come through, he should have known his luck was terrible.
He jolted as Oneiro scoffed before muttering about finding Goth again. He wished the other luck with whatever these insane monsters wanted from them but he refused to get in between them. He had enough on his plate right now.
"You are looking so much better, little raven. I know how much you liked Goth, so fancy meeting them again?~"
It was almost unnatural at how soft they spoke to the babybones, when minutes ago they had acted they would dust him but wouldn't, only because they couldn't be bothered to deal with his dust getting everywhere. Totally insane!
He was relieved when they left and put his full focus on Dream, who still looked to be frozen in place.
"Hey. Hey Dream. What did you come in here for?"
"Oh...oh yes! Some of us were wondering when we can leave the house and go outside"
"I don't know about that being a good idea..."
"The tension is rising, Sans. I wouldn't be surprised if things get violent soon. It's been two months for some of us being stuck in the house"
"I get it! I'm just a tad...wary on how some will react to the outside"
Sans had just managed to get his peace but he knew not everyone was so lucky to be on the surface, still experiencing the horror of a continuous loop with the human. He didn't want to give Frisk any reason to RESET his hard earned rest.
He wished that power did not exist but it was not like he ever got what he wanted.

*Karma cuddling Sol and happily purring*
Oneiro:..I can't decide if I want to kill Sol or praise my child for getting another protector~

Sans: I'm so stressed
Oneiro: Not enough for my liking~
Sans: *Close to tears* Please leave me alone
*Sol appearing with Karma*
Sans:..why did the danger level in the room just increase?!
