Once I was shooed out of the kitchen by Liam along with the other boys I sat down with the other boys-of course saving a seat by me for Liam.

Right when we sat down all eyes were on me & I knew something was up.Louise finally decided to tell me what was up. "We're all going to take the hybrid out to get to know him better." He boldly said."When did he agree to this." I ask fairly confident that he never did such a thing."We can't exactly ask him Ni" he said using his sas." You can't just take a person out like that but whatever...." I grumbled knowing this was a battle I could never win. "Good. Now that you know here is the schedule.I get the sex god on Monday,Zee gets him Tuesday,Haz gets him Wednesday, you get him Thursday to recover from Hazza if anything goes wrong,& we decided to go down on Friday & spend the weekend at the lake house." He said,surprisingly all in one breath.

"Fine,even though I know for a fact that he won't want to go out with Haz here." I say trying to keep the bite out of my voice.Just as I finished talking Liam & all his glory came walking out of the kitchen with delicious looking food & that rainbow cake-which ingredients we were still covered head to toe in.

As the dinner progressed I seen Liam getting increasingly red in th face & finally when I finished eating I decided to release him from whatever it was that was bothering him."Hay guys i'm gonna go hang out in my room." I say pointing to the door hoping that Liam understood what I meant when I was pointing to the door.Apperatlyn he did because immediately after I made that motion he got up to follow me.

As soon as we left the room we had one of our conversations that I always cherish."Thanks for getting me out of there" I wonderd why he wanted out though."Why'd you want to leave though" I asked deciding that I would voice-or sign- my curiosity. "I usually go to bed early on Sundays" I learn more about peculiar little Liam everyday that passes. "Whatever floats your boat babe" I sign.Then it sunk in that I just called Liam babe. I tried playing it off as cool but deep down I knew he noticed.

Sure enough not a minute later came the signing of hands."What do you mean by that." I tried playing dumb "By what?"  Even though I knew what he was talking about."Babe" he finally signed. "I call all my friends babe" I lied even though I dought it was even plausible.I'm usualy an ok liar.Not saying i'm great but I can usually pass. But I could never lie to Liam.At least without being terrible."Do you have a problem with that." I asked timidly hoping the answer wasn't yes."No.......Babe" He says with a smile. I silently thank god that we were down the hall from his door. As we approch the door I took my chance to leave happily. "Well we're at your door.Night Lili" I say with enthusiasm.On the inside I was kinda sad for having to leave Li.  

About ten minutes later though I decided it's was gonna be a late night & got back up to get a drink. When I turned my second right I heard the faint sound of crying.Then I realized that it was Liam's hallway.I ran to his door & creep in,shutting the door behind me quickly so that no one heard his chocked sobs & woke up. I quickly walked over & rapped my arms around the sobbing boy to try & console him,only to feel him start to flail around but I didn't let go.It was obvious all he needed was comfort.I was gonna be the one he got it from.

His eyes finally found my face & he immediately started calming down immensely.Then he moved all the way back against his headboard,his head hidden in his knees. I tapped on his shoulder to get him to turn around then signed what was one of the things that was on my mind. "Your to pretty to cry Lili" He just shook his head no.Then a memory flashed through my head of the last time we were this close.

I shifted into a big blue dog that I think is called  St.Bernard. I licked Li all over the face till he let out a small chuckle.God I love his laugh.Once I heard him let out that laugh I shifted back to my regular human form.

I start to wonder why a wonderful person like Liam would be crying.The sight of his sad face makes my heart ache.Liam now was looking up in a similar position although now he wasn't as cloths off like he was hiding in plain sight.A more comfortable & friendly position.I can't hold in my curiosity anymore so I signed.

"Want to tell me what that was about now." I asked. I seen an array of emotions in his eyes. Unsure,happy,confused,& sad. But finall it settle on one. Trust. Then he got off the bed & held up his arm to me."What are we doing" I signed  genuinely wondering."Trust me"  

                   Present 

& that's what brings us here.Liam with his arm held out & a surtin glint in his eyes with a friendly smile. There's just something in his eyes that I can't place that makes my stomach flip. I don't know if it's getting to know more about Liam,my curiosity, or the idea that my hand will be in his again but something is compelling me to say yes. So that's what I do.

"Trust Me" the image of him signing echoing in my brain."Trust Me" & strangely it was enough incentive. I take his hand & hand in hand we jump out of the window into the cold night air.
