An hour or so later, after Grays proposal, Gray and Juvia were standing in front of the job board. They were scanning the job board, looking for anything that caught their eyes. Juvia picked one off the job board and skipped over to her fiancé. "This one, Gray-Sama?" She asked all bubbly and happy. Gray smiles and gave a nod, "of course. Anything you want sweet heart." He answered her with a small kiss on her forehead as he walked over to Mira, with Juvia right by his side.

"Were gonna take this one Mira, alright?" He told Mira as he flashed the job request page to her. Mira picked up the page and nodded "Have a good time, ok?" She said with a smile and wave.  Gray and Juvia nodded in response and headed off to their quest.

Juvia was skipping on the path up to the mountain as Gray walks by her side casually. He chuckled when Juvia hopped to avoid cracks in the path. He didn't understand how avoiding small cracks on the ground amused her but, it made her happy so he smiled at her joy. "So this will be easy, right hon'?" He asked as he looked to her. She gave a huge nod and another skip. He chuckled and nodded back. The mountain was a little less then a 5 minutes up to the top, where they had to start their quest so they continued up the mountain.

When they finally arrived up the mountain, confused looks appeared on their faces. The job was to stop a huge plant from growing but....there was nothing but the ledge of the cliff. "Gray-Sama....There's nothing up here." Juvia stated and frowned. He put his arm around her, "hey, it's ok.  I bet we can just hang for a bit instead of the quest, ok?" He said to her and smiled. She looked up to him and nodded with a smile. "Ok, Gray-Sama" she said and giggled, "but one favor please Gray-Sama?" She asked and walked to the cliff's ledge. She turns to face him and gave another giggle. "May you take a picture of Juvia with the pretty view, Gray-Sama?"

Gray nodded and slipped his phone out of his pocket. He pulled up the camera app and held it up to his view, "alright darling, tell me when your ready." He said and waited for her response. "Ready Gray-Sama!" She squealed and did a slight pose. He chuckles and snapped the photo,"Got it sweet heart" he said to her and smiles.

Juvia nodded with a giggle and started heading back to her lovers side, until the ground started to shake. She shook with the grounds movement, and so did Gray. They exchanged looks as the huge plant, from the the job request , sprung up from the ground, under Juvia.

Juvia screeched and was sent flying up by the monstrous plant, and fell straight down towards the rapid river. Gray tried to stop the plant and his wife's free fall but... He was too late....His beloved, Juvia was not in sight. She was....Dead....

The huge plant went straight back under the ground. Showing no trace of its beings there. Gray stood up to his feet and scrambled to the cliff edge. "No. No. No. No!!!" He yelled and looked down. She wasn't there, until he looked to the rapids. "S-she's gone!," he yelped and clutched his face while he started to sob, "s-she's gone.... F-forever..."
