Tyler was at school early, basketball shorts low on his hips and his new jersey loose on his torso. Basketball practice was starting today and he couldn't miss it. He'd gotten up early solely on the fact that he absolutely couldn't be late for practice. He needed to set a good example and being late wasn't one.

He was motivated to be a good teammate and although it was a lot of pressure, especially since he was supposed to be team captain he knew he could do it. Everyone around him supported him and he knew that without them the school year would be difficult. He was lucky to have a strong support system, god knows he needed one.

The brunette roamed the halls absentmindedly as he made his way to his locker. The halls were completely deserted, the only people in the school at 7am were teachers or his teammates. Practice started at 7:30 though so Tyler had some time to kill.

He didn't mind being alone in the mornings, he didn't mind that he ended up back pressed up against a locker as he sat crossed legged on the floor because it was comfortable. It gave him time to mentally prepare himself for the day and he was feeling good, he was radiating confidence.

He felt good about himself, he was confident and himself as a person and maybe he lacked that confidence in himself as a little but he knew one day he'd learn to accept that really he couldn't control his regression. He never had been able too and he knew a lot of people who regressed could. But falling into little space was something he couldn't help at all and that lowered his confidence in himself.

Tyler needed control and that's where him being team captain for basketball came in, that's where sports came in. They made him feel at ease and since he couldn't control the one thing he desperately wanted to he was glad he could atleast take charge in something else, gain control in something else to make him feel less awful about it.

He loved basketball for this reason and he was glad for the sport, it was almost another coping mechanism for his stress alongside his age regression except really basketball brought on a whole new level of stress because everyone was expecting him to get a scholarship. Everyone in the entire school knew he was to get one and that put pressure on him which brought him back to regression to keep him from completely freaking himself out.

All his coping mechanisms brought him stress and anxiety and he just couldn't escape it. Basketball and regression would have to do for now. He'd deal.

English class with Mr.Dun came sooner than he was expecting and before he knew it he was sat in a desk at the front of class, school supplies neatly stacked in the corner. His teacher wasn't there yet but god he felt alone in class. Sure he could talk to anyone, he could make conversation but the environment had him slightly nervous and he wasn't really in the mood to talk to anyone.

He scratched at his desk with his nails as more students piled into class, filling up the desks. Mr.Dun's class was already much quieter than Mrs. Ryan's, the class also had a lot more girls. They outweighed the boys by a lot but Tyler didn't mind as long as none of them were throwing themselves at him because god knows it's happened too many times to count.

Tyler sighed as the bell wrung and his teacher still hasn't arrived. He slipped his phone out of his back pocket as he waited and the class went on with gentle chatter he wasn't in the mood for.

Time passed and his head snapped up as a man with striking yellow hair walked in. He wasn't smiling but he seemed to be in a good mood.

Tyler gulped, Mr.Dun was attractive. Tight white button up, black jeans, he had a tie and his eyes were perfectly dark. He barely looked old, he was young and Tyler couldn't help how small he felt the moment Mr.Dun entered the room.

"Sorry I'm late, the coffee machine in the teacher's lounge broke and I was helping clean up." He said placing a mug on the desk, Tyler was sure it was empty. He leaned up just slightly to catch a glimpse.

"Don't we have janitors?" Asked a girl and Tyler turned his head to see who was talking.

He nodded and placed his blazer on his desk, Tyler couldn't help but notice his tattoo. "Yes we do miss Black but it was partially my fault so I helped."

He clasped his hands together."Now since we're done with questions I'll take attendance and afterwards." His eyes scanned the classroom, they landed on Tyler.

Tyler tilted his head, his heart stopped in his chest. "Mr. Joseph will come sit with me so we can talk and the rest of you can start your reading assignments."

The rest of the class groaned and Mr.Dun sighed and gazed over at Tyler, tattooed arms crossed over. Tyler nodded shyly and played with a pencil on his desk. His teacher didn't look away.

"Did you hear me Joseph?" He asked. Tyler flinched and tilted his head up.

"Y-yes sir." Mr. Dun seemed happy with that answer, he nodded his head as he sat down in his chair, crossing his legs.

"Thank you. Now everybody quiet down now." His teacher said and Tyler let out a deep sigh. He liked Mr.Dun, he seemed to be in complete control of the class but at the same time he was worried about how he'd affect his regression. He was demanding and Tyler wasn't sure how he felt about it, he wasn't sure how he felt about being attracted to his teacher either.

Mr.Dun recited the names of his classmates quickly, his voice raspy and sweet and Tyler was biting back his smile the whole time because he had a feeling he was going to do well in this class. He played with hands the whole time only looking up at the sound of his name being called. He smiled big and his teacher checked off his name.

It didn't take long before Tyler was being waved over to sit in the chair that Mr.Dun had pulled up to sit beside his desk. He took the seat comfortably, instantly feeling at ease beside his teacher. He seemed nice.

He walked over happily and Mr.Dun smiled at him, clearly liking his good attitude. Tyler couldn't imagine his reaction if he had come into class acting like an absolute ass. It didn't happen often.

"Hello, nice to meet you. I'm Joshua Dun. You can call me Mr.Dun though." Mr.Dun said and Tyler hated how formal he sounded.

"Hey." Tyler replied easily. Mr.Dun nodded and begun shuffling around his desk.

"I have a few rules, they're on." He searched his drawers quickly and pulled out a slip of paper dotted with small letters. "They're right on here, just follow these and we should be fine." He passed it to Tyler, looking at him in expectance. "They're just classroom rules, I went over them last week with everyone. Should be easy to follow."

Tyler looked at the paper, brown eyes big. It was endearing really, he bit his lower lip, gnawing at the soft pink as he read everything over. He felt warm with his teacher's gaze on him, he didn't want to look back up. He read over everything, he could hear his teacher breathing. His skin grew hot and he had barely processed what he'd just read.

He handed the paper back to his teacher with a smile. "Thanks, I think i've got it." He didn't understand a word.

Mr.Dun smiled and placed it back on his desk, resting his chin on his palms and crossing his legs as he spoke. "Good, Now I just have a few questions, I'd like to talk about a few things."

Tyler gulped, his demeanour had him internally freaking out and he wasn't exactly sure what that meant. The way he spoke had him nervous. Tyler was never nervous around teachers.

"Do you normally interview students?" He bit at his lip, couldn't help himself.

His teacher sighed, unamused. Tyler was sure he almost rolled his eyes. "You're behind, this is just to help you catch up."

"Alright." Tyler sighed and he didn't catch the look of amusement in his teacher's eyes as he begun speaking again, he couldn't help but get lost in his voice in the most platonic, student-teacher way possible.

"You're on the basketball team, yes?"

"That's right."

"And it won't be getting in the way of your studies? Not only in my class but, just in general." He asked, arms folded over and maybe Tyler had been staring at his muscles while he had been speaking but he snapped straight out of it very quickly.

"O-oh it really shouldn't. Sometimes I do get pulled out of class for it but i'm really good at catching up by myself."

"Good. Another thing, I check homework everyday. I don't give a lot of it but I do expect it to be done and on my desk every class."

"What type of homework?"

"We're starting off with creative writing, i'ts pretty self explanatory."

Mr.Dun ranted on for another five minutes and Tyler convinced him to pull out the years syllabus and go over it with him just so he'd understand a bit better when truthfully he just didn't want to go back to his desk. He liked him a lot, he could tell he was about to be his favourite teacher.

He was back at his desk shortly enough, feeling proud that he kept his head high the whole time. He was glad he hadn't felt too small around his new teacher, he'd definitely feel embarrassed falling in little space with him around.

English class passed by in a breeze and Tyler couldn't keep his eyes off his teacher, he was supposed to look at him anyways. Maybe he wasn't supposed to find him attractive but that wouldn't be an issue, there's a difference between being attracted to someone and acting upon it. Tyler would never act upon it. He didn't want to even consider it, he shivered at the though as Mr.Dun talked and talked and talked.

Tyler didn't mind mouthy teachers or attractive ones at that.
