"Hey dear sister." My eyes lock with Iris. I don't move for a moment as I take her in. Her golden brown hair is up in a messy bun her face is bare and she is wearing pajamas.

"Iris." I finally greet doing my best to keep my voice steady.

She folds her arms over her chest as she smirks. "You are going to help me or else I'm telling dad you are annoying the Beta of Betas."

My lips roll into my mouth as I wait for her demands. She flashes me a mischievous smile "You are going to make sure the girls whose initials match Bain's mates initials stay far away from Bain at prom. Do you understand."

I don't say anything for a moment and she raises a brow. I blink and tilt my head "My initials match Bain's mates initials." My eyes stare into hers almost challenging her.

Realization flashes in her eyes as I have picked a hole in her plans. The smug look then takes over her face again as she places a hand on her hip "Oh please as if. Bain would have already rejected you. You're pathetic. Anyway do as I say got it?" She raises a brow again daring me to pick another hole in her plan.

I didn't have anything to worry about, none of those girls are Bain's mate, I am. So I simply nod my head. Iris gives me a triumph smile. "I knew one day you'd be good for something." She then turns and skips up the stairs.

I roll my eyes at her comment. Sister of the year everyone. I sigh as I trudge up the stairs and into my room. I simply wash the makeup from my face and change into a large shirt and climb into bed. My eyes close and sleep finds me shortly.

The annoying beeping sound of my alarm clock brings me from me slumber and I open my eyes to see the numbers 6:00.

I groan as I sit up and throw my feet over on the floor and sit there for a moment willing myself to get up. My head feels heavy as it bobs trying to fall back to sleep. I sigh knowing I need to get up and using all the strength I can muster I stand. I slowly walk to the door and walk out and down the steps into the kitchen. My parents aren't up just yet so it's just me and Annie. She munches on cereal and I grab a banana. Not much of a breakfast person, I force the banana down my throat knowing I need to eat something.

Annie and I don't speak both of us trying to wake up as I leave the kitchen and walk back to my room. I brush my teeth, shower and blow dry my hair and for the first time in a long time I curl it for school. I put my brown contacts on and I then pull on gray jeans and an off pink shirt. I put mascara on and chapstick and deem myself fit for school. I grab my bag and walk downstairs to see Annie putting her shoes on. I slip my converses on and with out a word we both walk out the front door to her car.

Annie backs out of the driveway and sighs. "I can't seem to wake up today." I nod in agreement with her leaning my head against the window wishing I was back in my bed; the shower this morning barely waking me up.

We pull into the parking lot and I sigh as I get out of the car. I see other students making their way to the school. Some dragging their feet others walking casually. I make my way in and I'm suddenly stopped as the Principle stops in front of me.

A cringeworthy look is on his wrinkly old face as his blue eyes stare down into my Brown ones. He hands me a paper, I read over the new schedule and look at him confused.

"Don't ask questions." He gruffly says as he then turns and storms off his toupee blowing up from how fast he is walking. I look down at the schedule and all my classes are the same except for one.

My math has been switch and now I have Gym last hour and Math third hour instead of study hall. A grin takes over my face. Now I can practice what Riley has already taught me before she left. With a new pep in my step I rush to my first period.

I rush to my last class Gym and walk quickly into the locker rooms. I find my locker that's on the piece of paper and put my combination in. Grabbing the gym clothes I quickly put them on. The black gym shorts are a little small for my liking and the red shirt hugs me a little to tight.

I'm to excited to care though as I turn and walk out as other girls are walking in. I spot Annie walking in and she looks surprised to see me.,

"What are you doing here." She asks as she looks at me in the gym uniform.

I shrug my shoulders "Honestly I don't know the principle gave me a new schedule and told me not to ask questions.

Annie flashes me a smile "I'm so happy for you, I know how much you've been wanting to be in this class." I nod my head in excitement a big smile spreading across my face.

"Oh my goddess I know  you are not in this class!" I look to see Iris glaring at me.

I shrug my shoulders at her to happy to be fazed by her. "I am now!" She huffs in frustration as she stomps by me as she shoulder bumps me. I'm to happy to care and shrug it off. I wait for Annie to get dressed and we both walk out.

Annie walks to a spot on a large mat and I see everyone else doing the same forming rows of people. I get beside Annie and follow suit as everyone starts stretching.

We all stretch a couple minutes and I hear a whistle blow. I look towards the sound as does everyone else to see Bain. His tight shirt causes his abs and pecs to be seen and I find myself checking him out. I feel a jab in my side and turn to see Anne giving me an amused look.

My face reddens and she laughs "Can you stop eye raping the coach Nav?" I roll my eyes at her as we pay our attention back to Bain.

"Alright we are just going to take it easy today and just practice our fighting. Get with a partner and begin." His arms cross and I turn to Annie who is already lookin at me.

Before I can say anything a voice cuts in "Glitch you are with me. You owe me anyway. Ash you are with Annie." I sigh at Hannah's voice and turn from a glaring Annie to see Hannah with a smug look on her face with her hands on her hips. I nod and Ashley goes to Annie behind me and I follow Hannah to her usual spot.

She smirks at me as she says in a low voice "This is for embarrassing me in front of the Beta." I hear a double meaning in her voice as she gets in a stance. I follow suit and we start to circle each other. I watch her hips and dodge a punch she throws at me.

A shock look covers her face and I smirk at her. I might not be able to fight, but I can dodge what ever she throws at me.

She continues to throw punches at me and I dodge or block every one. She throws her leg up at me and I dodge again. She yells out as she throws another punch my way, I again dodge. I hear someone laugh and I turn to see Annie and Ashley watching. Annie has an amused look on her face.

The breath is knocked out of me as I feel a force connect with my stomach sending me to the ground.

I cough as I land on my back and look up to see Hannah standing over me with a triumph look on her face. She then steps over me and walks away. I see Annie offer her hand and I grab it as she helps me up. I thank her as I see Hannah strut off to Bain as she brags about her kicking me down.

I look at everyone around me rolling their eyes.

"They all saw you blocking her punches." Annie stated looking at me proudly. "Where did you learn that?"

I shrug as I look down "Riley taught me, she said if I'm going to be beat up while she was gone I could at least make it hard for them to land a punch."

I look back up at Annie and a small smile is on her face. "I know you miss her."

I shrug my shoulders "I miss them both. Hopefully they will be at graduation. Though that is months away." I missed uncle Carter and Riley, they were the only ones other than Annie that actually treated me like I was human.

I look towards the whistle blowing and see Bain trying to get everyone's attention.
"Alright everyone get dressed let's go." Everyone starts heading for the lockers as I start to follow Annie. "Navi lets talk for a second." I turn to see Bain looking at me with a raised brow.

I walk to him making sure not to be to close.

"What was that out there." He ask crossing his arms "You dodged every punch flawlessly but never threw one."

I cross my arms hugging my body as I see his eyes struggling not to roam my body as he waits for my answer. "I was only taught how to dodge, and throw a couple punches, but I was mostly taught defense." I shrug my shoulders.

He nods as he looks down towering over me "Next time you are going to learn how to fight back." He then nods his head sparing me one last glance before he dismisses me.

I nod back and walk away from him quickly and enter the locker room.  Everyone has already left. I take a quick shower wrap a towel around me and go to my locker and I open it  My breath hitches in my throat as the bell rings.

Both of my clothes are gone.
