"Congratulations your pregnant" the doctor said

"You mean really like it will survive?" Rene asked

"So far the pregnancy is doing great your almost out of your first trimester so I think you will do just fine" the doctor said

"That's great news" Charlie said

"Would you like to know the gender next appointment?" The doctor asked

"Yes, right Charlie?" Rene asked

Rene was often the head in the house or the lead in the relationship. Always making her way about which is what made this bad.

"Yeah of course" Charlie said

"Great see you in a few weeks then" the doctor said and the couple was off

The weeks flew by faster then you could think and soon they were finding out what gender the baby was. They were having a girl and they couldn't have been happier about it. Well Charlie was and Rene well she was happy to have a baby but seemed off about it too. This was the first pregnancy she was having and it took forever to get to it. It was taking a toll on their marriage when she couldn't get pregnant.

Or the test kept failing, she'd lose the baby anything and she'd be torn. Of course so would Charlie but Rene always had the top in the relationship. She was often controlling Charlie so he didn't have much time to grieve their unborn babies. They had tried three times before this baby came to them. She had lost all three babies and many failed attempts to even get pregnant. A total of five tries and the sixth try was the charm. Of course Charlie tried to grieve but Rene always had something in mind to ruin it.

As months passed and the baby was still healthy it got closer and closer to the due date. Rene had a rather small belly for having a child. Her body frame made it that way and that's another thing. That's another reason as to why it was so hard to conceive children. They were going to give up until the baby was finally conceived. They had set up the spare room in bight pinks and whites all around. Giving the baby just about anything she needed.

When they finally decided on what to name the baby it was almost a huge argument. Billy black was there for the birth so was his wife Sarah. Being the god parents they needed to be there for the birth right. The new parents decided on naming her Dorothea Olivia swan. Dorothea was a Greek name for gifted as she was a gift to the new parents. They didn't know she soon would be more then just their gift.
