The day was spent with laughs and distractions all around. Going from store to store and just exploring until we got tired of it all. I took us back home but they day wasn't over I needed to show her more. I grabbed her hand the moment we got home and giggled while rushing towards the forest. Once deep enough in the woods I stopped and motioned for her to wait.

"Now stay put and sit" i said

"What are you going to show me?" She laughed

I sat down across from her and closed my eyes. I took a deep breath and touched the ground. Feeling it around me, I opened my eyes to see flowers all around.

"Wow" Bella said

"Okay I want to try something but don't go to far okay" i said

"What do you mean?" She asked

"I'm going to close my eyes and your going to go somewhere I want to try and find you on my own with my senses" i said

"Okay but not too long cause it will be dark soon" she said with a childlike grin

I nodded and closed my eyes while closing off my senses until I knew she was far enough. I opened my eyes and focused on my surroundings. I smirked when I caught her scent as if I were an animal looking for my prey. I began to walk and a small giggle escaped me when I got closer. I stopped when I was closer only to see a mountain lion inches from Isa.

"Bella" I shouted throwing a shield around her as the lion pounced

We watched as it hit the shield and growled at it.

"Isa run" I shouted as I bean holding it down with magic

"What about you?" She asked

"I can protect myself now go" I said and she did, she ran back towards the house

Suddenly there was a brown wolf growling at the mountain lion and I knew who it was. I threw the mountain lion out of the way into a tree, then put a shield up when it came back at me. Jared more importantly the wolf rushed to attack and protect me from the animal.

"Thanks JJ" I said softly and he nodded his wolfy head

I got up and went over to him then sat down in front of him to show I wanted to talk.

"I'm sorry I didn't have the chance to warn you about the phase, but the elders and their rules put a wall in front of me that was impossible to get around when it came to breaking the news to you" I said to this the wolf nudged me

I looked into his eyes and knew that things had changed recently and for both of us. He didn't hold love towards me in his eyes anymore, but it was clear he had love for another.

"You imprinted on someone" I said sadly and he nodded

I sighed and got up on my feet then dusted myself off, I looked at Jared one last time unable to hide the hurt.
