Trapped

I slowly and cautiously sat up and opened my eyes after at least an hour or two of just lying on the ground. It was dark, and it was cold, and I was scared. I felt the hard coldness of metal on me. I couldn't smell anything at all. And it was so quiet, it was creepy.

I opened my eyes and looked around. I could clearly tell it was very dim, but my eyes seemed to glow red, giving off some faint light. There were strong chains attached to my legs (I was still in wolf-form) and the room I was in was small and empty. I guessed this was a cell, and I'm pretty sure I was right. It seemed like a cell.. I definitely wouldn't call it a 'home' or 'my room', I feel as though the term 'my cell' suited it better.

My heart raced as I heard and saw a small screen with a hard and thick see-through plastic around it, flicker on. A man was there, he was tall and looked very strong and important, he had now replaced the other guy as the most intimidating person I'd ever seen. With rather broad shoulders and, well, let's just say he didn't seem at all weak. A quiet whimper escaped my throat and I took a step back. He didn't move, or say anything, he just stood there and watched me. I slowly backed away a little more, earning an ear-piercing noise to sound as the chains moved. I could feel his eyes staring so intensely at me, I could practically feel it in my soul.

"Heh, well, this is new." He suddenly spoke in a gruff tone, making me jolt upright in surprise. He chuckled.

"At first, I didn't believe her when she had spoken of the 'monster' that had ended up in the lab. But, seeing you here with your red eyes, is pretty convincing. You're pretty interesting really." He smiles to himself, and I can feel my fur raising on my back. This guy was seriously creeping me out. After I didn't say anything for awhile, he continues.

"Well..?" The man asks expectingly. My head cocks to the side in confusion, what did he expect? What on earth was going on in that little mind of his?

"Aren't you gonna speak? Or, do anything for that matter? Now's your chance to." Wait, let me get this straight: he expects me to speak? Is he serious? What am I supposed to say?! Does he expect me to beg for mercy or something? I'm not that weak.

"I-I.." I stutter quietly, but shut up again realising I can't think of anything to say. I look down at my feet. Oh, right. Correction; paws. God, this is gonna take some getting use to.

"Why am I here?" The question blurts out before I have time to think about it.

"Heh, wow. So you really are that stupid." I frown in disliking as he continues. "Well, you can't expect us to just ignore the fact that an unknown and insanely dangerous monster is on the lose, and the fact it's killed someone." He finishes adding more emphasis on the word 'killed'. A shiver crawls up my spine as a silent tear escapes my eye, my head still bowed. I had done that. I was a monster. That innocent little girl was killed.. Because I couldn't save her. I may not have actually killed her myself, despite everyone believes, but I was the reason she was dead. I might as well have killed her..

But I don't expect forgiveness or anything, I just hope you can find some happiness in new updates. And I most certain will be updating more often! I mean it! I've just been really busy with things, and I haven't been able to find the time to just write my books. But I'm gonna find time! Anyway, please don't forget to..
