Broken Promises

"Three things you should never break: Promises, trust, and someone's heart."

At the Ghost Club, the plates that were once filled were now only holding a few crumbs, as the boys finished their last bites. "Oh, pizza! Man, I missed you!" Luke said happily, only to hear some weird noises that were coming from Reggie.

"Reg, are you kissing that meatball sub?" Alex asked through his mouthful of food. Reggie realizing he was caught looked at his friends like nothing was wrong with what he was doing. "It's what you do with the things you love." He said, before the boys attention were being drawn back to the stage where Caleb stood.

"I take it you're all enjoying the feast? So many delicious sights, so many tantalizing sounds, but your eyes still hunger for more. Something sweet. Something...savory." Caleb walked back towards the little main stage that made him taller than the crowd that was on the main floor. "How many newcomers do we have in the club tonight?" He asked watching as the three boys raise their hands, some others as well added to the mix.

"Ladies, let's show our guests how we do desert."

(Caleb)

A one, two, three four!

Music started to play as a few people who were already on the dance floor began to jam out to the sound. After a few minutes Caleb began to scat along to the beat as he laid across the piano that was to the side of the stage.

Watch me make a move

Watch me make a move, yeah

(Crowd)

What you gonna do?

What you gonna do?

I say, watch me make a move

Watch me make a move, oh

What you gonna do?

What you gonna do?

I say, watch me make a move

Watch me make a move, yeah

What you gonna do?

What you gonna do?

Watch me make a move

Best you ever knew

Willie patted Alex's shoulder happily before bolting over towards the dancer, Alex was astonished as he watched his crush dance not taking him to be a dancer.

Hey, yeah

Life is good

On the other side of Hollywood

Life is good

On the other side of Hollywood

So welcome to the brotherhood

Where you won't be misunderstood

Life is good

On the other side of Hollywood

Willie once again made his way back over to the boys as the dancer in the pink flapper dressed joined back over dancing more in front of Reggie who fell over after she left, both Luke and Alex caught him though before he could hit the ground. Only for him and Luke to be dragged away by the two dancer who were originally on Calebs arms.

"Come now, you can't be the only one at the party not dancing." Caleb said seeing how Alex was the only one standing in place, unlike who's two friends. "No, I...I know. I'm just...I'm looking for Willie." Alex said as he looked around the crowd for the skater, but Caleb had other ideas. "Dante, Fuego... meet Alex." The two man grabbed Alex's arms as they both smiled at him and Caleb. "You welcome." He said before Alex was lifted away to join the other who were still dancing.

Life is good

On the other side of Hollywood

Caleb seeing Willie, quickly gestured him to leave and the boy couldn't help but lose the smile that was on his face. Alex finally getting to see the boy also lost his smile when he saw the boy run away, deep into the crowd of people.

Where you won't be misunderstood

The crowd cheered in excitement, Luke and Reggie were pushed back up after being in a dip by the two girls. Luke stopped clapping though as he heard what seemed to be a whisper of a familiar voice in his ear. 'Luke~' it said. Looking in the direction and ignoring what Caleb was saying his head followed towards the direction it sounded like it was coming from.

"Twelve! How...How'd that happen?" Luke kind of pushed the dancer who was trying to coax him into dancing once again. "I'm sorry. Dude!" He turned towards Reggie who was too entranced by the twin of the other girl, that he was ignoring Lukes shouts. "Dude! Dude, we lost track of time..."

Reggie pushed Lukes hand off his shoulder. "Not right now, man." Luke not taking that as an answer picked him up by the waist until he was also facing the clock. "Reggie!"

"Hey, what the..."

"We were suppose to be at Julie and Chris's school at 9:00."

"Oh shoot, that's right. Maybe we can still make it." Reggie said hopefully before looking around for a familiar blonde. "Where's Alex? Alex, we forgot..."

"Up here." Alex shouted, as he swung around on the hoop that was in the sky. "Julie and Christine. I know, this place is... one sec." He yelled trying to turn towards the guys once again after spinning around the opposite way. "This place is some kind of time warp."

Luke just let out an aggravated sigh. "Poof down here, bro. We gotta get going." Once said boy had finally came down from the ring the three of them made a dash towards the exit, ignoring the other people who were still dancing and enjoying the fun.

As they were about to run up the stairs Caleb appeared in front to them. "Gentlemen, what's the rush? The party's just getting started, and you have an eternity, after all."

"You know those girls that can see us? We sort of bailed on them. There's this dance at their school tonight, and their friend Flynn is a super cool DJ, like-" Reggie was trying to explain why they had to leave, but was starting to go off topic, causing Alex to interrupt the boy.

"I don't think he has an eternity to hear the story."

"Basically, we're late for a gig." Luke summed up, as he tried to get back to Chris.

Caleb confused on how these guys can be this oblivious to his offer looked at them. "But what about my offer?"

"It's very cool of you, Mr. Covington, but, like I said, we already have a-"

"A band of your own, I understand." The boys just smiled and were about to continue on their way towards the door, but was once again stopped by the older ghost. "Oh, boys...if you ever wanna come back and fix that little problem with your friend, the Hollywood Ghost Club is always open. Bring your friend with you as well, I would love to meet them."

"Yeah, man, we'd love to come back." Luke falsely smiled. "Ah! Music to my ears." Caleb said as he brought his hand out for the three of them to shake, Caleb making sure to give Luke and extra long hang shake, to enact another stamp on his forearm.

The boys feeling the burn, Luke feeling the burn a little more than the others, looked at the new purple stamp. "Oh, it's just a little club stamp, I gave Luke an extra one so he could give it to your friend when you see her. Until next time."

Luke and Reggie ran out the entrance, Alex following behind after talking to Caleb for a second, as he watched them leave. "Caleb? You never said you were gonna...use your stamp you know what that'll do to them. Plus we have no idea what it might do to their friend if she is a lifer." Willie said after watching the interaction between him and the boys.

"Of course I do, William, but they're too powerful. I need them working for me and the same goes for their friend even if she is a lifer or not. Now they'll have no option but to accept my invitation."

The only thing you could hear in the gym was the sound of balloons, as the three girls sat under the arch using their earrings to viciously pop them. "I can never show my face at this school again." Julie said dramatically.

"That's what we get for depending on boys." Flynn agreed, Chris just popped the balloons more aggressively as she thought about the green eyed phantom. "Boys are just idiots, why do you think I swing both ways."

Julie just rolled her eyes, use to hearing Chris bring up her sexuality. "I don't know if I should be mad or worried. They're ghosts, I don't know what kind of trouble they can get into."

"I'mma get us some ice cream-" Chris opened her mouth to intervene, but was stoped when Flynn continue. "and Soda since someone doesn't like ice cream, from the cafeteria. Fools fave me the keys." Flynn said holding out the key, before getting up from sitting down. "We can crash at my place and forget about this whole nightmare."

"Julie and I will have to stop by our house first so that way we can grab a change of clothes and also tell our dad." Chris said before sitting in Flynns spot, who just nodded before heading towards the exit.

"Get me two...of everything." Julie yelled, before the two of them heard, the familiar voices. "Julie, Chris, we are ready to rock this dance, which is clearly over." Reggie deflated after seeing how dead the room was at the moment.

Alex seeing the glares that they were earning from the girls, hit the boys shoulders before pointing towards them. "Look, we are...so, so sorry that we bailed on you guys." Luke said looking at Chris, who didn't seem to be wanting to ease up on her stare down.

"Yeah, I mean, the night really got away from us." Alex said, but was unhelpfully interrupted by Reggie who got slapped in the back by Luke. "And the twins."

Julie just let out a sigh. "Just please tell me it had nothing to do with you getting back at Carrie's dad." This earning a very fake pft from the boys who lied and said no to the assumption.

"Seriously? You're lying to us?" Chris asked angrily, feeling her nails dig further into her skin, almost drawing blood.

"Ok, look, it was something we needed to do." Alex said, hating the way Christine was looking at him at the moment, Luke feeling the same way. Reggie hated how hurt the younger girl was giving as he just stared at the ground avoiding her eyes.

"B-But we'll do whatever it takes we'll play the next school-" Luke was interrupted by Chris, who just walked closer to the ghost. "What? Another dance where you can bail on my sister and I? Make us look like fools? Save it. If it wasn't for me preparing a back track for a song I wrote and giving it to Flynn, we would have been screwed."

Julie walked towards the Bass player, who finally looked up. "You knew what really sucks? Our songs were good and all three of you knew what we've been through, and how tough it's been for me to play, and then you do this?"

"Bands don't do that to each other." The two sister said at the same time, Julie continued. "Friends don't do that to each other. This was a mistake."

Luke and Reggie both felt their hearts break at what the girls said, Alex just felt his heart drop as he watched his one friend leave them once again.

"You mean the school dance, right?" Luke asked hopefully.

"No. She means joining the band with you guys." Chris said, as she watched her little sister run out of the gym, wiping her face with her hand. "Julie..." At that moment Reggie wished he could grab the girl and hold her, allowing her to cry those tears away, but reality had other plans.

"Chris..." Luke said walking towards the girl, but was stopped by a hand.

"How could you do this to my sister and me? I though you of all people would understand on why this was important for me and my sister. Alex I told you about what happened to my mother and why that song Luke found was so special to me. Reggie, I gave you permission to hang out with my sister even though I was against it at first. But Luke, I just can't believe you would do something like that to us." Chris said angrily not realizing the tears that were coming down her face.

"I didn't mean to, you know that!" Luke yelled hoping that the girl would understand, but once again gained the same look from her. "Yet you still did it, and that's what makes it hurt the most."

Not wanting to be there any longer the girl ran out the gym doors, leaving the guys alone, giving them a taste of their own medicine.

"Chris!" Luke yelled.

"Well, if...if Julie and Chris aren't in the band, then..." Reggie glumly said, as Luke added on. "There is no band."

From there the boys started to groan in pain as they were shocked from an unknown force, Luke feeling it ten times worse fell to the ground in pain.

"What was that?" Alex asked as he slowly regained his balance.

"It felt like we were dying all over again." Reggie said as both him and Alex helped Luke back up, who was still groaning in pain. "How can we die if we're already dead?" Luke asked, looking at his band members.

Chris moved the gear shift to park as they pulled into the Molinas driveway near one o'clock in the morning. "Dad said he's waiting downstairs to let us in, but we got to be quiet since Carlos is asleep in his room." Julie and Flynn nodded their heads, before her and Chris got out of the truck slamming the doors shut a lot more gentlier than usual.

As Julie and Chris made their way up the stairs, there were startled by an unwelcome presence who appeared in front of them. "Chris!" Luke yelled, startling her and Julie at the time.

"What are you doing here Luke, I thought me and Julie made it very clear we don't want to see you or your followers at the moment." Chris crossed her arms angrily trying. to find a useful way of getting this conversation over and done with in her head.

"Just please listen to me, we feel sorry and we didn't mean to do what we did, but at the end it we didn't get the help we thought so technically we never got revenge on Bobby like we wanted, so tada." Luke did jazz hands hoping that by saying all that the girls will forgive them, but he stopped when he saw that he wasn't wining.

"Luke just leave." Chris tried to go around the boy, but with a quick grab with the very hand that Caleb had stamped, she stopped. Neither one of them realized that by Luke doing this his stamp was transferring to her, until the two of them felt the burning pain on their forearm.

Luke looked down to see the vibrant purplish glow, grow a little dimmer before disappearing, meanwhile Chris just saw a red mark, what almost looked like a hot iron was placed on her skin. The pain started to grow unbearable, as Chris's eyesight began to grow dark, Julie seeing her sisters eyes grow closed watched in horror as he sister feel into Luke.

"Chris!" The two of them shouted, as Luke held the girls head in his arms. As the two of them tried to shake the girl awake, they didn't see the front door opening up to a tired Mr. Molina. "What's with all the yel-Christine!" Ray yelled as he dropped the ground to see what was wrong with his daughter.

Feeling the tears begin to grow in his eyes, as he continued to shake the girl he secretly liked. "Come on Chris wake up!"

"What happened?" Ray asked, but what shocked both Luke and Julie was how he was looking at no Julie for the answer, but Lukes.

"Wait! You can see me?"

So if you look at certain words you might recognize them from my little sneak peeks in the chapter called treats. I'm happy to say episode five is now finished, not who's ready to see more into Reese's life as I have another original chapter coming up next that will be posted later today.

Love you all so much and yes that is teen wolf Allison and Scott, have to say this death scene didn't affect me much like Aidens did for some reason. Anyway no questions since I can't think of any right now.
