3) Words Like A Knife
Bagans Residence
Amara- I knew immediately that something was wrong when my fiancé refused to acknowledge me in the RV. He wouldn't answer a single question and resisted every touch. Once home, the stubborn man sat in his chair and completely ignored any of my attempts at attention. "For Christ-sake Zachary, you can't ignore me forever!" His eyes flicker towards my direction and follow my every move. (Sighs Softly) Gazing into the eyes that had me hypnotized, it was hard to miss that the deep ocean blue is now pitch black. "I am the mother to your child and your fiancé." Another mistake made and a rather fatal one on my part, especially when I should have known he was fighting possession.
Zak- The petite woman, finally garnered my attention as I watched every little move she made. (Narrows Eyes) I slowly get out of the chair and cross the limited space, standing before her. (Sneers Disdainfully) "Get out." I'm not exactly sure what made me snap at her, but I wanted her out of the house and away from me.
Amara- I look down at the ring on my finger. (Mumbles Softly) "Three years..." Finally dawning on me, I knew that I was treading dangerous territory. Especially being in such a fragile state. I knew what I was risking, but wanted...no...needed to push further.
Zak- I was confused at first, by what she was doing and the tone she used.
Amara- Gazing up as our orbs locked. "Was any of it real, because it was all real for me." Stepping towards him, closing the small distance between us. "This...this is real to me!" I hold up my hand showing him the ring.
Zak- (Narrowing Eyes) She gets into my space as I instinctively reach up, grasping at her waist. (Growls Warningly) Something in me wanted to protect the feisty beauty, yet I couldn't stop myself from glaring at the little shiny object on her hand, which ties us together.
Amara- Twisting my fists into the collar of his shirt. "Everything we've been through. All the fights, the danger, the traveling, healing each-other when sick, being there when the other suffered from a broken heart." I clung onto him tighter as with each word I shoved my fists into his chest. (Sniffles Lightly) "Including finding out I'm with your child!"
Zak- Tightening my hold on her hips, gazing into her blazing orbs as tears began to fall staining her pink cheeks. "You deserve far better..."
Amara- My hormones all over the place to begin with and having gotten on a roll, I continued to press further. "When you gave me this ring, were those promises a lie?" (Glares Heatedly) "Did you even want to be in a committed relationship?" Giving him a good shove. (Whines Dejectedly) "Did you really ever want a family with me?" All the pent up emotions suddenly erupt as I charge at him, fisting my fingers tightly into the collar of his shirt once more. (Growls) "Is my heart just a toy to you? Am I just another name in your Fuck Book?" (Narrows Eyes) Finally taking a deep breath as I slowly let it out. "Tell me Zak...was anything you told me ever the truth?" Finally calming down, it hit me that I had so many questions and I really wasn't sure if I wanted to know the answers or not.
Zak- I listen silently as she rants and repeatedly beats her fists against my chest. (Huffs Hotly) I was having an inner battle with the darkness within for control. Without thinking I give her a shove backwards as I swing and slap her across the face. (Snaps) "Get out, ungrateful whore!"
Amara- (Eyes Widening) Between the shove and sharp slap, I had fallen backwards barely missing the edge of the coffee table. (Rubs Cheek) Gazing up at him as tears begin to fall once more. (Sniffles) Carefully climbing to my feet. "Come find me, when you exorcise those Demons." I practically run up the stairs, trying not to fall in the process. Throwing the door open to what was once our room, I grab my suitcase and quickly shove my things into it. (Huffs) Taking a moment to collect myself, I slowly come back down and peer into the living room seeing Zak sitting back down in his chair once more. (Whispers Tearily) "I love you..." Without looking back, I walk out the front door as it slams shut behind me.
Zak- Feeling my heart shatter as the being within laughed gleefully. (Mutters) "God, please forgive me!" Falling to my knees, I reach up and twist my fingers into my own hair and pull. (Yells and Cries) Seeing red as that ominous and gleeful laughter echoes through me to the soul, I have a complete mental breakdown and destroy anything I can get my hands on.
3rd Person P.O.V- Has their bond completely been broken or can it be fixed? Only time will tell...
