Three Weeks Later/GA RV

3rd Person P.O.V- Three weeks later, the GA Crew find themselves packed like sardines in the GA RV-noting that this trip was going to be all the more interesting. While on the road, the tight-knit family has a comfortable routine. Nick is mostly at the table, coffee in one hand and a book in the other. Aaron can be found hogging the only couch as he plays games on his phone. Every couple hours Jay and Billy swap seats and take over the other's job of driving/navigating. Until Mara joined them, Zak was normally holed up in the only room. Thanks to Mara, the vampire has become part of society once more. Since the beginning of the trip, it was blatantly obvious that Zak and Amara had gotten much closer and the beautiful ring was hard to miss, considering they all knew the young woman didn't wear jewelry.

Zak- Not having any fucks about how my brothers felt towards, how openly close I am to Mara. (Smiles and Hums) After getting the news of her pregnancy confirmed, I couldn't keep my hands off her anymore. I always had to hold her waist, hips or belly. (Purrs) "My beautiful Goddess." I trail my lips along her sensitive neck.

Amara- (Rolls Eyes) As much as he was a distraction, it was welcomed. (Giggles and Whines) "Zachary!" He had me squirming in his hold.

Zak- I nibble her jaw. (Smirks Sinisterly)

Amara- (Huffs Over-Exaggeratedly) "I can't work, when you are distracting me." I finally gave up and set my tablet on the table.

Nick- (Chuckles Lightly) Zak was never the domestic type and here he was engaged to the equally elusive redhead. "Mara, you have mellowed my brother." (Smirks)

Amara- Narrowing my eyes at Nick. "Thanks for the lack of help dickhead!"

Nick- I look at her in mock hurt, unconsciously placing my hand on my chest over where my heart beats. (Whines) "You wound me."

Amara- (Growls) "Go cry to your wife!"

Nick- My eyes widened in surprise. (Mutters) "Ouch..." (Nods Respectfully) "I had that coming."

Billy- Although, I was mid conversation with Jay. (Gasps Sharply) Still, having heard what was said between Nick and Mara my jaw kissed the floor as the map went flying and I practically jumped to my knees in the seat.

Jay- (Hums) Billy practically gave me whiplash as he jumped up to kneel on the seat facing behind us. (Smirks) "Someone is feisty today."

Aaron- Mid conversation, I had sat up to watch the verbal war. "Damn girl!" (Chuckles)

Zak- Seeing my brothers startled by Mara was priceless. (Smirks) I kiss her jaw, giving her hips a gentle squeeze.

Amara- I pull out of Zak's grasp as I get up. (Sighs and Hums) "Do we have any pickles?" I open the fridge, only to close it seconds later as I whip open a set of cabinet doors. "Peanut butter?" Having slammed the doors shut accidentally, I turn back to the fridge and begin looking through the freezer. "Ooh strawberry ice cream?" I pause momentarily, only to continue moving our frozen goods about. "No, chocolate!"

Billy- Sitting back down into the seat correctly. (Snickers) Hearing her list off, her current cravings made me hungry. However, I knew better than to say anything. (Snickers)

Jay- (Shakes Head and Smiles) I knew better than to say anything as my wife is currently pregnant.

Aaron- (Cockily) "What are you pregnant?"

Nick- My wife as well as both Billy and Jay's wives are pregnant, so we knew the signs. "AARON!" God have mercy, four pregnant women.

Billy- (Whistles Lowly)

Jay- Glancing up into the rearview mirror. (Raises Eyebrow) Shaking my head, I turn my attention back to the road.

Zak- (Glares Heatedly)

Aaron- My eyes widen to saucers as their reactions sink in. (Mumbles) "Sorry..." I quickly shut my mouth after that.

Zak- (Huffs) I don't even bother to waste my breath as I get up and grab Mara's hand, taking her to our room in the back of the RV.

Nick- Arron had vacated the couch and sat down at the table across from me. (Sighs Heavily) "You really need to learn self preservation."

Aaron- (Huffs and Mutters) "I have self preservation!"

Nick- Putting a marker between the pages I'm on, I set my book aside as I give Aaron my fullest attention. "No Arron, you do not." Pausing momentarily as I think over the right words. "Yes, being with Mara has mellowed him. However, he has become much more touchy in regards to his partner." (Sighs Heavily) "Let me put it to you this way, if you continue to dance all over his boundaries he is going to kill you."

Aaron- (Huffs) Crossing my arms over my chest, in a childlike manner. I turn away from my brother and glare out the window.

3rd Person P.O.V- Jay and Billy listen to Nick in silence, both knowing that Nick is right. If one of them ever crossed a boundary further than Zak likes, it wouldn't be a tongue lashing; they wouldn't get that luxury as he would outright kill them.

Dead Mans Cove

Nick- After giving Aaron a needed tongue lashing, it was a long ride filled with a heavy silence.

Billy- (Sighs in Relief) We finally arrive at the location and scramble off the RV, taking in much needed fresh air.

Jay- Having left the RV in park and turning it off, I slowly climb out and slowly stretch out my sore and stiff muscles. (Hums Softly)

3rd Person P.O.V- As an intune, well oiled machine the crew works as one setting up nervecenter and outlining the game plan.

Billy- Noting that Zak is still very touchy, I quickly grab the gear I need and let Jay know that I was starting out in the courtyard practically bolting out the door.

Jay- (Shakes Head) The door slammed shut behind Billy as it sent a rather creepy echo through the dark halls.

Aaron- (Sighs Heavily) I obviously knew better than to question Zak at this point, so I didn't argue about the game plan.

Zak- Grabbing the gear I need. I give Mara a kiss, then stalk out into the darkness.

Jay- It's been a good hour since Zak left me and Amara at base. (Sighs) "Come on, it's not that bad." Gazing at the screens as I slowly click and zoom in, before moving to the next room. "Mara, he's just looking out for your well being."

Amara- Sitting in the chair beside Jay, with my arms crossed as I glare at the monitors. (Huffs) "I know..."

Jay- (Smiles Fondly) "Hey, I know how he feels. I'm the same way with Ash right now."

Amara- I turn to face him. "I know, she said something about willingly handing in her resignation to be a stay home mom."

Jay- (Nods) "She did and I respect that decision. Hence why the last investigation was her last."

Amara- (Hums) "You know it's actually crossed my mind." I pause momentarily as I rest my hands against my slightly swollen belly. "To hand in my resignation and be a stay home mommy."

Jay- (Chuckles) "Oh I'm sure it has." Taking a moment as I glance over at her. "Have you told Zak?"

Amara- (Giggles then Frowns) "No I haven't told him, but I highly doubt he'd disagree."

Jay- I reach over and gently rub her shoulders. "He just wants you and the baby safe." (Smirks) "I wouldn't put it past him to fire you, in order to do it." We spend countless hours watching the Crew battle the abandoned amusement park. "So when do you find out what you're having? Nick is having another girl and after the whole paranormal name choice, Vee decided it was best to name her." (Chuckles Lightly) "Chloe Veronica."

Amara- (Giggles) "I can see why she decided to name this little one and that's such a pretty name."

Jay- (Hums and Nods) "Ash and I are having a boy, we decided on the name Nero Aslan."

Amara- (Hums) I take a moment, letting the name sink in. "Very interesting choice. Fits him." (Smiles Coyly) I glance up away from the screens and note that Jay is smiling like a proud peacock. (Rolls Eyes and Shakes Head)

Jay- After a few moments of silence, I accidentally startled Mara. "I know Billy and Kelly are having a daughter, they decided on the name Keegan Grace. So what is your little bean?"

Amara- (Rolls Eyes and Smiles Fondly) "I go sometime a little after next month. Zak is hoping for a girl."

Jay- (Smiles) "He wants a mini you." It's not that far-fetched. When asked, Zak always preferred to have women in his castle. A Dark Princess will turn his world upside down and for the best.

Amara- (Pouts and Whines) "I want a mini him, though." (Sighs and Smiles) Resting my hands against my belly, rubbing gently. "However, I'm just happy to be having a family with the man I love."

Jay- I think about that. (Nods) "Now that is something. Have you guys picked any names yet?"

Amara- (Shakes Head) "Not yet."

Jay- (Snorts) "Well don't wait too long, the bean does need a name."

Amara- "I'm well aware." Two hours later and we wrap up the investigation. (Frowns) I quickly realize that while not paying attention, something must have happened because Zak wasn't himself at all.
