My eyes widened as I looked at Jungkook, then at the door.

The footsteps became even more louder, and there was jingling at the doorknob outside my bedroom, I gasped silently before my eyes started roaming everywhere inside my room.

Then I pushed Jungkook with all my might, pushing the bathroom door before slamming him at a wall, kicking the door closed before locking it.

I ran towards the shower before turning it on, the warm water coming in contact with the tiled floor as it made a pitter-patter sound.

"Namhye?"

"I'm bathing Taehyung! What do you want?" I shout from the bathroom, my voice doing those cool echoes.

"That doesn't matter! I think I used your shower yesterday while uncle was showering and I left my lotion there!" Taehyung shouted from outside.

"Fuck off Tae! You can survive without lotion for one day! And don't you dare step in the bathroom," I shout back while covering Jungkook's mouth, afraid he'd make some horse noise.

"We're 1 year apart Namhye, now let me in."

"No!"

"Let me in."

"I'm telling uncle Hoseok!"

"Tell him then! He won't give a fuck either."

"I'll bring it to you! Just don't barge in here!" I told him from the bathroom and I sighed deeply as I took my hand away from Jungkook's mouth.

"Now don't make any noise, okay? I'll be right back," I said and he gave me a small nod, and I made my way to the sink to where the lotion was placed.

I picked it up before looking at the label.

My face contorted into a shooked one, my eyes widened and my jaw hung as I dropped it in the sink, looking at my shaking hands as I looked at the white container.

I gritted my teeth before picking it up and taking a towel before walking towards the bathroom door and opening it.

I then proceeded to take a step towards my bedroom door, before cracking it open a bit showing a tiny gap, and throwing the lotion towards him without showing my supposedly wet body.

"Woah, easy," Taehyung spoke as he caught the lotion just in time.

"Enjoy your jacking off, Kim Taefuck," I spoke before closing the door and locking it.

"Rude," he tsked through closed door before his footsteps started fading, and I sighed deeply.

I started to walk towards the bathroom before pressing my ear on the door, the shower was still audible and pattering on the floor with it's droplets.

"Jungkook, you can shower now, I'll be giving you privacy," I told him as I walked away and plopped myself on my bed, face first.

I still can't believe I have a man-horse, in my house.

"So let's get this straight, what are you, really?" I asked him as I stood infront of him although he can't talk, my arms crossed as he looked back at me, seated on my bed.

He wasn't naked anymore, but he was dressed in my uncle's oversized clothes that fit him like a skinny shirt, it showed a glimpse of his rose tattoo and he was paired with some grey sweatpants and Taehyung's furry socks.

I was glad I picked them all up from the washing machine and I didn't have to sneak into the rooms.

I was drying my hair with a towel and I placed a headband on myself before lookint at him.

"I don't really know how to get you talking," I said as I looked at his face, scanning his nose ring and rosy lips.

His eyes suddenly widened, his arms lifted up as he pointed to something behind me.

My head turned towards the direction to where he was pointing, my gaze landing to certain thing on my desk.

I walked towards it before picking it up, my eyes scanning the book Jungkook wanted.

It was a brown book.

And the title was "Horses and Many More"

It was a gift from my uncle on my 19th birthday, but I never really touched it.

I gave it to him and he took it with his two hands, his hands opening the leather book, his fingers scanning the pages slowly, and I patiently waited for him.

He then stopped flipping the pages, his eyes scanning an article in it before handing me the book, his doe eyes pierced into mine as he places the book back at me, my eyes curiously looking at him.

My gaze dropped to the page before me, the huge font of the title covering my vision.

Kelpie

A kelpie is part of the ancient folktales, and it is known as a water spirit that takes the form of a horse, but can shapeshift into a human, or any animal according to it's environment. It is usually found near swamps and rivers.

I looked at the book then back at him, and he gives me a small bunny smile, his arms crossed as he gives me a raised brow.

"A kelpie, interesting," I told him as I closed the book, and walking towards him before caressing his face.

"But, you were injured, right? I didn't have a choice and I didn't know," I said softly before patting his soft hair.

He gave me a soft smile, his eyes slowly closing as I ran my hand in his hair, he looked so innocent and lost, and it was the cutest thing I've ever seen.

I just need to hide him from my brother and uncle.

That night, I let Jungkook sleep on an inflatable bed I hid whenever a guest of ours comes to visit, and I also gave him a soft duvet and a spare pillow from my bed.

I also made sure to hide his bed beside my angle of the bed to where the person entering won't see him, since I never trusted my brother and uncle to knock before coming in.

"Jungkook, you like that?" I chuckle softly as I turned around while taking the duvet out of my closet and turning to see him on my bed.

He was holding a unicorn plushie Tae gave me when I was younger, and he pushed his face in the plushie before cuddling it in his chest.

"You can sleep with that if you want," I smiled at him and he gave me a small smile back as I sat beside him in bed while he cuddles the plushie in his arms.

He rolls off to his inflatable bed, which was a bit lower compared to mine because I only places the bed foam itself on the floor, and he gives off a small plop before pulling the duvet towards himself.

"Goodnight Jungkook," I giggle and he smiles back before I turned the nightlamp off, putting us both into a deep slumber.
