Last part of chapter 12.written in hurry as I lack in time..because of exam next month.

KMA

PARKING LOT.

Raj rushed to his jeep. BC had to have inspection scheduled prior to its decided date. As raj was BC' assistant in some ways, he had to rush for many works. And receiving the inspection panel was one of them. There was a sudden change in panel and Raj had to receive that bunch of few higher officers. Being a devoted soldier he was, he tried to reach at airport as soon as possible even it be half and hour prior to plane landing...

However he had to go for one more thing...For fetching one kg of lime..which were shal' ultimate demand.

And with the mention devil herself arrived.

'Captain..fresh wale lana..I dont need old ones. Only fresh ones...Aya samajh me?'

'Yar me jaau ya nahi? Tum pahle mujhe fresh lime par lecture de lo...I am getting late..Come on shal. Stop being ridiculous.'.

An impatient Rajveer urged while mischievous shal just smirked. Again wasting his precious time in telling him to button up his open shirt to which he slightly blushed but soon got out. Shal was just messing around and getting him late as well. He then chided shal who in response poked her tongue and tried to choke him. He rushed away ignoring dangerous shal.

When he was turning his jeep towards Gates, he saw her almost running to shal. She had something in her hand which she displayed to him.

Whoaah!

A first for him!

He continued to watch her with amazement. When guard at gate called him out he just shook his head and shifted his attention.

'Sir. Door khula he..Jeep nikaliye..Jaldi.'

And he began to drag his jeep out..

Forgetting his mobile phone behind him..which she had tried to show him and remind him to get it..but he just never caught the clue.

Gurudaspur Base

Na ji na belan nahi he..chappal he.

Annie was beating her client black and blue...and this just created a good movie scene. Almost ten to fifteen officers and cadets were there but nobody dared save her client.

When Captain Abbas arrived then Anita stopped not before punching that poor guy once again......

'Kya ho rha he ye? Lt. Chaudhary. Ye kya badtameeji he!'

'Captain Shah! Ye mera personal matter he. Aap interfere na kare.'

'Khuleaam ek army officer ko maarna aapka personal matter nahi he. I can lock you up.'

'Kyu? Kis jurm me?'

'Ek army officer ko peetne ke jurm me aur kis liye!'

'Mera hone wala pati he...Legal right he mera...Aur behtar hoga ki aap beech me na pade. Warna me bhool jaungi ki me kaha hu!'

Though shah was famous for his strict nature and intimidating profile but seeing Anita in full fprm he left th pitch and ran for saving his wickets..

But this gave the poor captain time out. He sat on ground and took a sigh of relief.

And finally asked....

'Yar annie. Itna to maar liya...ab ye bhi bata de ki mara kyu? Proposal ke baad log kiss karte he, hug karte he, pyaar bhari baate karte he, gazal gaate he..gaane gaate he.. lekin band bajate he...ye pahli baar he.'

To which his throat was choked...

'Dharti ke bojh! Propose aise kiya jata he_ shadi karegi? Kaun ho tum mere? Guardian? Aur uske baad meri kuch sune bina you decided that I was not interested....or uske baad bhi man nahi bhara to mere hi samne tumne lt. Leela ko ankh maari! Aaj me tumhari aankhe noch lungi...Tum bas ruko...Naveen. jan pyaari he to wapas aa jao...bhaagoge to bharat mata ki kasam...Bahut maarungi...Yaad rakhna.'

Poor Captain Naveen Singh Ahaluwalia stopped dead in his tracks and soon an outraged annie slapped him again..so he just made a poor baby face and tried to put the best cry baby gesture on..

'Aarggghh! I so hate you......' she took deep breaths and hugged him..

'Thank god. Annie...tu maan gayi...chal isi bat par Raj ko phone laga...kutte ne aaj tak khabar nahi li...mar gya hu ki jinda hu...Haramkhor meri bahan se nain mattakka karne me busy hoga..Annie ...phone laga na yaar..' cheerful Naveen asked his new and hot fiancèe..(hot as in temperature.)

But her face soon became void of colours with mention of Naina....

'Raj ko chhodo...Ye dekho...Open threat. Sidhe Naina ko frame karne ki dhamki di he..I am telling you uske sade se dimag me koi ghatiya sa plan chal rha hoga...warna Abbas ka sudden suicide aise hi ni hota. Usko pata tha ki Abbas ek weak link he...thoda sa pressure pada to sare raj ugal dega..Isliye He got him killed. Aur ye dhamki...Me bol rahi hu naveen...is baar phir se Naina ko phasayega wo kamina.'

Naveen got scared.. more than when he was convicted...when her sister was blamed...when she was left to bear his deeds...

'Ruk..raj ko call kar. Bol ki Naina ko Nainital bhej de...ma baba ke pass. KMA me itni safe nahi hogi wo..'

Annie dialed Raj' no...which was received by .....

.....Naina..

'Hello raj..'

'If I am not wrong ye meri hone wali bha hi bol rahi he...right? Wese bhabhi jaan..Raj to bahar gya he..he has to receive inspection panel.'

'Naina...'

Hearing his sister's name Naveen at once snatched the phone and talked her..

'Kaisi he tu? Koi problem? Tujhe kisi ne kuch kaha to nahi? Tu khush he na? Raj ke parents kya bole? KMA me koi problem to nahi he..Naina..tu thik to he na baccha? Tune KMA me join kiya...kisi ne object to nahi kiya? Chandra se koi baat huyi? Lekin abhi kaha he tu? Naina...kuch bol...gydiya.'

'Abe bolne dega to bolungi na..khud hi nonstop bole ja raha he..Me thik hu..koi problem nahi..Sab kuch thik he..fokat ka headache na le..Sun inspection he Aaj KMA me. Raj ke upar hi sari responsibility he. Isliye abbi sare teachers jaldbaji me he...including me. Raj to apna phone bhi bhool gya..Me tujhe baad me call karti hu..Jail me phone use nat kar, Abbas bahut pitega- '

'Jail me hoga tera pati! I am free now..aur isi week mujhe engagement karni he..tu Inspection ke turant baad Nainaitaal aa.'

He heard her laughing on the other side..

It just gave his heart a much needed satisfaction....which he was missing after hearing annie talking about open threat...

'Tu bach gya? Jarur saamne wale prosecutor ko flirt karke fasaya hoga! Lekin wo to anmol tha...Yuck!' He groned a d was about to scold her to which she again laughed

'Ok ok.Party chahiye.. aur engagement ke liye Aati hu. Shayad Aaj sham ko koi facilitation program he....Ek kaam karti hu..Kal morning me cab book kar lungi..Ok? Kitni jaldi he shadi ki...annie bhagwgi kaha? Aur wese bhi tune uske case ke jo paise khaye he na...dekhiyo shadi ke baad interest laga kar wasoolegi! Ok..bye. Free hote hi call karungi..Recieve karna...Annie se flirt karne me mat kho jana..'

'Ok...Meri maa. Aur tujhe nahi pata...Agar shadi jaldi ni ki to arthi uthne me der nahi hogi..Take care bbye.'

He disconnected the call and held annie' hand..

'Sirf ek hi din ki baat he...Kal wo hamare pass hogi....We'll be with her...to protect her always..' he kissed her head and both left to infirmary for a quick scan...to check whether any bone was broken or not...

But nobody knows what'd happen next moment...let alone a day!

RAJVEER

Inspection had gone great. But one thing was bugging him...

It was Major ARun Aggarwal earlier....whom raj was familiar with..

But the new comer and exchanged officer Major Karthik was unknown to him. He had never heard of him. It was not like Rajveer was supposed ro know every other officer in Indian army. It was just his connections were strong and almost every influential officer was somehow familiar with him..

But this Karthik man! He seemed to be alien to him.

He had though perhaps Karthik came from southern regiment hence could be unknown to him. Perhaps he was a hidden gem...

But all his assumptions went wrong when Major Karthik after arriving in KMA just settled down in BC' cabin. He just remained there until the inspection was over and all the four were taken for lunch.

He was not hidden gem but seemed to be a man of feathers.

His foremmost worry was inspection. KMA needed reward and it only could come from high remarks.... All teachers were good specially she. Her students were able to tell difference in tricky questions asked by panel. Be it difference in shell and shot or be it to name few new discoveries. His class also did well. They broke two codes given by panel but failed in one. One students was able to cite An English mathematician and biologist Alan Turing as one of greatest code breakers in first world war. His machine enigma was explained by other student. Over all it was satisfactory. Similarly shal' class had performed well. And Nair....somehow his class too did well. He knew it was because of alekh only...

Inspection was over so was his tension.

But what Major Karthik was didnt have to do anything with him hence he neglected this major and resumed his coffee in his room. It was still one hour left to party begin.

Party after faliciation of old KMA cadets..it was BC' idea to butter the panel via this party..

Raj being his sole representative again had to bear all the responsibilities and he had managed to do it..with some help..

now he was in his quarter resting and enjoying a much needed coffee.

Then his rest was disturbed as she came out of bathroom tinkling her bracelet and spreading her sweet aroma....to enchant others. She was looking classy and beautiful...but he dared not to compliment her.

Perhaps it'd worsen the situation...

Or....

He considered to shut his mind better.

He though had too many questions and doubts in his mind but soon all of them died as he went back to his coffee again. These days they were having small conversations here and there. And all those conversations proved to be a reason of his normalcy around her.

He continued to sip his coffee and she resumed to walk here and there...which caused him disturbance.

'Baith jao...yaha waha mat ghumo.'

'Wo....wo bathroom ka...tap...wo..I mean..By mistake toot gya.'

He sighed. What he learnt about her in past few days were her clumsiness and disastrous performance in kitchen along her undying love for pets. Last one she didmt profess openly but first two were clearly visible...

Because in last two weeks ahe had broken shower nob two times. For tap it was first....many will come. Worry not.

'To ghumme se jud nahi jaayega. Sit somewhere quietly. I'll call mechanic.. Lekin ye tap, nob ya buttons tumse hi kyu tut te he? Me itne salo se naha raha hu...mene to aaj tak ek mug tak ni toda...tap door ki baat he.'

And he could imagine her smiling sheepishly..

'Wo...pair fisal gya tha...Aur aisa nahi he jaan boojh kar kiya...khud se ho gya..I dont know why.'

And he knew a pout'd follow...He smiled inwardly. This woman was a kitten...a baby one.

'Ok. Aur kuch todna bacha he? Nai to jaake aram karo ya phir catering dekho. I am not in mood to go now..'

Alas! He was not supposed to get rest today..soon Shal came and asked both to join others. Raj had to get ready in hurry...and she had to help him..by bringing him her watch instead of him and replacing new handkerchief with old ones..

Somehow a decent Raj and good-looking she left for party...in KMA.

PARTY

It was around eleven in night. Party was in full swing...Everybody was enjoying including cadets and faculties. The panel officers had retired about twenty minutes ago and now it was time for KMA to rock the floor.

Shal had joined Alekh and was ruffling his hair time to time. Lt. Saini was busy in glaring at someone...and suriji was trying to woo Lolita ma'am. While Nandini was going to Raj who was shooing her away. Naina was watching all this from a corner..enjoying the view and feeling contented.

'Hamare hote huye aap akeli? How is it possible? Nainaaa....Singh.'

That voice made her almost jump in shock. What followed next was her soccer eyes full with fear and trembling figure.

The person held her back...to which she squirmed and finally pushed him.

'Wild ha! I love wild. Wese...man na padega. Waqt ke sath tum aur bhi khoobsurat ho gayi ho...aur ye kya shadi kar li? Kyu? Hamara dil tod diya aapne! Wese hum me kya kami thi...Hum to aapke deewane he...khas kar ke aapke is husn ke...aur adao ke...jo bed par bahut hi lethal lagti he..' and he laughed..

Naina could feel herself getting weaker with each passing moment. Fear and darkness was arising...reaching out to her...to engulf her....

Her past was in front of her. Her hidden secret was dreading her...to come out.

'Kya naina! Last time..tum aisi nahi thi..You reciprocated my each touch. Ab ye kaha bhaag rahi ho..come on. Come to me...my wild cat! Chalo..wahi se shuru karte he jaha se khatm kiya tha..'

And he got himself ready to pounce at her..while she retreated back..with his every closing in step.

'St....S...Stay.....Away..door hato..mujhse.'

'Ab ye nakhra mat dikhao..I can bet...I was more than satisfying.alst time. Chalo...Nakhre chhodo aur come to me. Me isliya KMA nahi aaya...Come on. Time nahi he mere pass.'

Naina prayed in her heart mother earth to open up and swallow her up..or some kind of miracle happen that'd lead her to freedom from her past which time to time snatched her breath and forced her to die little by little.

'I said.....stay away. Me shor machaungi.'

'Ha..to machao na..phir me bhi shor machaunga...tumhare bikaau hone ka! Yaad he na..deal...Naina singh?'

And it was final nail in coffin....her soul left her body and she fell limp. She didnt feel when those filthy hands tried to catch her and close in the distance..neither when she was pulled back by someone and held close to a strong heart...

'Ye kya badtameeji he? Major Karthik! Aap meri biwi ke sath kya badtameeji kar rahe he? What did you do with her? Kya huya isko?'

She could hear HIM.......HER HUSBAND.....CAPTAIN RAJVEER SINGH SHEKHAWAT...

'Kiya to bahut kuch tha captain. Lekin ek baar me man ni bhara...aur biwi? Bade bajaru shauk he! Do you know who is she? Abhimanyu Chauhan ki Rakhail huya karti thi ye'

And she died the moment she heard her past coming out in brutal way..now he'll leave her because this was the very same reason he used to be boorish with her...

She shrank in fear and soon found herself down on earth waiting for next set of derogation and revelation.

But a punch came next...and Karthik was lying flat on floor..

'Wo kya huya karti thi...Mujhe pata he. Lekin kya me sabko batau ki last month tune kaise Captain Meera ko ek rat ke badle promotion dilaya tha...ya phir tere base tak ya baat pahuchau ki do case pending he tere naam....wo bhi sare attempt to rape ke! Agar teri pahunch high command tak he to main ministry me ghusa hu...aage se kahi dikh gya to hath pair to todunga hi......ye post or power hath me liye phirta he na...wo bhi nahi milegi. Now get lost before I kill you!'

Rajveer held Naina in his arms and carried her to their room...pondering over just happened scenario...thinking what he did was wrong or right....

But soon verdict came...what He did was right.

This decision could be clouded because of some smiles exchanged or solace provided by each other....

But this seemed to be right.....no matter what were the circumstances or what revelation came crackling upon new panes..
