Later that night, Mystic Flame was packing up. They would leave for Tokyo in the morning. They was still disappointed by the match. They were all wondering the same thing. Why would Team Radiance drop out? Blair wanted to cheer everyone up. "Guys, just because Team Radiance drop out, doesn't mean we be depressed about it. I mean we're still going to the Grand Prix, and they are too. That means we just have to play a full match there okay?" They agreed. "Now, lets get some sleep." The next day, they landed in Tokyo. As they were riding in the streets, they saw streets were full of life. They were in awe. As they got to the hotel, they were greeted. "Welcome Team Mystic Flame. You rooms will be this way."

As they went their rooms, they heard something. "How many times do I have to tell you! My name's not girl!" A blue haired girl with twin-tails walked out. "I swear, I'm gonna hurt him one day." She stopped in front of them. "Big Sis!" "Hi Hallie!" They hugged each other. "I didn't know you guys were coming." "Luke would have been real disappointed if he didn't face a certian someone." She looked at Tai. "Anyway looks like we're neighbors. So I will let you be, and I will go back to planning and dealing with Mr. Blockhead." "Okay then bye!" Tai remembered something. "We probably need to plan too since we are at world-class competition now." They agreed. They were up all night working on their decks, watching replays, etc.

The next morning, they were running late. "Tai, I can't believe you overslept!" "Sorry, I been up all night preparing for this!" Tai and Blair were arguing while running. Rosena and Stella were just watching it. "They fight an old married couple, don't you think?" "Yes." They met up with Luke's team in the stadium. "You guys barely made it. What happen?" Charles asked. "It was Tai's fault!" "No it was not!" "Yes it was!" "They fight like an old married couple." Charles told Hallie. "They're destined for each other." She starts to laugh. "Guys look!" Stella pointed. People were walking across the stage. It was a purple haired boy with twin girls. One with red hair, the other pink. The boy went to the mic.

"Hello everyone! Welcome to the Buddy Grand Prix!" The crowd cheered. "My name is Tyson." The one with pink hair went up. "My name is Hanna and this is my sister, Anna!" Anna went to the mic. "And we're the team representing the BGP, Team Sacred Dawn!" The crowd cheered again and Tyson went back to the mic. "Here at the BGP, the rules will typical, best out of 3 matches. We have teams from all over the world and all the matches will take place on this very stage." The crowd got louder. "So what team will take it all and be the Buddy Grand Prix Champion Team? That will be solve as the matches begin now! Here's the first match-up!" The bracket showed up on the big screen and zoomed in. "Team Mystic Flame vs. Team Defenders of Hope!"
