The Dice....

ran after the mice

who were not very nice

fed on food and fat as twice

this was their vice......

the Dice rolled on

wanting to stamp them long

to make them vanish into thin air

they ....a nuisance under the chair

making ladies scream at the fair

the mice clever and sneaky

went round for a peeky

for a box to lock up the Dice

found it next to the clock

lured the Dice into the box

the Dice as smart as a fox

turned tables on the cheeky mice

has them in the box , nice and tight

where they shriveled up in fright

dreaming of food and rice.....

the Dice also had a pleasant surprise

It was decorated and coloured

now a pretty sight

It rolls on in happy flight

on the lookout for errant mice!
