Somebody knocked on the door of Ali's ward making both Ali and Viktor turn their head to the door.

Ali: Yes, come in.

The door swing opened and the familiar black hair with white strip man showed up. Smiling widely at Ali.

Amato: Hello Ali. Hey Viktor.

Amato put his souvenir on the table and Viktor stood up,excusing himself to give them space.

After Viktor is out,Amato sit at the chair beside Ali's bed.

Amato: How are you doing, champ? Feeling any better? *gentle smile*

Ali: Yeah, I feel better already. Where were you anyway?

Amato: Ah,me? I was outside,settling all the drama that are happening right now. Othman is still no where to be found and I still have to settle up with MATA's problem.

Ali: *smile* It looks like you've been busy.

Amato: *chuckle* Yeah.

They stay in silence for a while before Ali force himself to ask about Reverse.

Ali: Sir? Do you...in any chance know where Reverse were?

He look so small and weak asking like that. Desperate to know.

Amato is stunned for a while, before smiling and caress Ali's head.

Amato: Reverse is resting at my place. I can't send him to a normal hospital. You know,his powers were weakened after everything happened.*sad smile*

Ali sit up straight, agitated.

Ali: W-What do you mean? Is he okay?

Amato pursed his lips.

Amato: His...powers were weakened,and he used all his energy to bring everything back to normal. It took a toll of his body. Now,with my supervision, I helped him to stay...uh...alive. He's stable now,if that make you relax.

Ali let out a sigh of relief,still playing with his fingers.

Ali: Can I... see him?

Amato smile,patting the boy's head.

Amato: Of course you can,silly. That's your brother.

Hearing that making Ali chuckled bitterly.

Ali: Am I still able to call him that? I lost my right to call him my brother..

Amato: What do you mean?

Ali: I...I got mad and called him a freak. He really hated that word but I still called him that. I'm.... I'm the reason he lost control...

Ali look down. He felt guilty. He knew Reverse hated the word 'freak' yet he still called him that, knowing damn well it would hurt Reverse.

He's the reason why Reverse is in a coma state like now.

Ali: He never told me why he hated that word,yet he shown me how much he hated it,and I used it on him in the worst situation ever... I don't think he would.... forgive me entirely.

Amato smile before putting a comforting hand on Ali's shoulder.

Amato: You and me both knew Reverse would. He loves you as his little brother.

Ali just smile. He only believe what Amato said just to ease his restless heart.

They will be okay.

In Amato's building,Ali look around in wonder. This place is really the definition of future.

Amato put on handprint recognition on the lift's sensor and it bring them to Reverse's room.

Ali's heartbeat began to accelerate. He is actually nervous to meet Reverse. After all,he is also the cause of Reverse's meltdown.

When they arrive, there's a small glass wall, separating them from Reverse.

Amato: Well,same as before. Sleeping soundly. *Smile**look at Ali*

Ali's gaze is absolute on Reverse. He looks no different like the time he dyed his hair to brown before.

Ali:*grip hand* Is he.... going to be okay?

Ali look at Amato hopefully. Amato just smile and nodded.

Amato: Don't worry,he was just tired from powers overload. He will be fine.

Ali let out a sigh,looking at Reverse.

Everything is going to be fine.

Ali: Can I..?*look at Amato*

Amato just smile, ruffling Ali's hair.

Amato: Go on kiddo. I will prepare some tea and cookies.

Ali nodded,smiling widely before entering Reverse's ward.

Looking at him sleeping peacefully like this feels like nostalgia. Ali take a stool and sit next to the bed.

Ali: Hey Rev... It's me.

Ali hold Reverse's hand, squeezing it lightly.

Ali: I know you can't hear me...But I still need to say it. I'm sorry. I never meant to hurt you so badly. All of this happened because of me...

Ali pursed his lips when he felt his eyes teared up with warm tears. He almost lost Reverse,yet he's the one hurting him.

What a hypocrite he is..

Ali: I'm sorry....Isk... I'm sorry... Reverse...Forgive me...

Ali cried,holding Reverse's hand,pressing it to his forehead begging for forgiveness from the sleeping Reverse.

Ali: Please...Please wake up soon,Rev..I miss you. You still need to explain to me your alien thingy powers. *sad chuckle* I promised I would take you to my favourite hot choco place,right? So wake up quickly. Your penguin stairs toy waiting for you.

Ali laugh a little between his sobs,remembering old memories of Reverse,being curious of everything, enchanted by everything.

Ali: We don't need to hide anymore... We can stay with Mr.Amato,we can go out like normal now. We can be a family together.. *sigh**pressing Reverse's hand on his forehead* We all....Heh..We really need a family therapy hehe...

Ali lay his head on Reverse's bed,looking up at him.

Ali: Wake up soon...We both have a promise to be fulfilled.

Ali linked his pinky finger to Reverse's,and lay his head against the soft bed.

It was late at night when Amato come to check up on Ali and Reverse. To his surprise,he sees Ali is sleeping on Reverse's bed,while the older boy is no where to be found.

After fixing the blanket on Ali,having an instinct, Amato went to the rooftop of his building,seeing the silhouette of the young conqueror sitting on floor,looking up to the sky full of stars.

He look calmer and less hostile. He look like a kid,hoping a wishing star would cross in the sky. He didn't even react when Amato walk up to him.

Amato walk up to him,draping his coat onto the young boy.

Amato: When did you woke up,Rev?

Reverse: Just now.

Amato: Did you have the talk with Ali?

Reverse: No,when I woke up he's asleep. His eyes is blotchy,so I let him sleep.

Amato chuckle,looking up at the dark sky.

Amato: He missed you.

Reverse just quiet,looking up. He seems weirdly calm.

Amato: How do you feel? You really had some major power overuse.

Reverse: *look at his hand* I feel lighter. Calmer. *look at Amato* I don't even know I can do that.

Amato just chuckle and ruffle Reverse's head.

Amato: So,are you ready to talk? Can I explain myself now? We still have some things to discuss about.

Reverse look at Amato,with seemly innocent honey brown eyes,before shaking his head.

Reverse: No, it's okay. You did what you had to do. I'm sorry for almost killing you.

Amato is startled for a moment,but chuckle afterwards.

Amato: It's fine.

They both stay silent for a moment before Reverse start breaking the silent with his question.

Reverse: Hey, what's a family,for you?

Reverse's question make Amato froze,not expecting the Conqueror asking this type of question. But,his honey brown eyes is blinking curiously,making Amato melted a bit.

Amato:*look at the stars* Well,for me,family is people who cares about eachother,love eachother,and protect eachother. Before,I only thought of my dad,my mom,my wife and my son and my friends as my only family. Loosing all of them broke me. By then, Ali's parents was the one helping me to stay strong. They're the one who taught me that family doesn't have to be related by blood. Family have a bond, whether blood related or not.

Reverse just stares as Amato explained.

Reverse: It doesn't matter if they don't have blood relation?

Amato: *nod* Yes,Reverse.

Reverse: Just like me and Ali?

Amato: *chuckle* Just like you and Ali.

Reverse look at his feet, before looking back at Amato.

Reverse: Are you our family too?

Amato froze for a while before covering it with a fake cough.

Amato: Only if you wanted me to be. *look at Reverse* Do you?

Amato is expecting Reverse to be flustered and denying it,but to his surprise:

Reverse nodded.

Reverse: If that's so,can I call you 'dad' then?*innocently spontaneous*

Amato froze. Hearing that,making many surge of emotions flooded into him.

'Dad'.

He never get to hear that.

Reverse, noticing how silent and distraught Amato was, remembering Amato's past,feel guilty.

Reverse:S-Sorry. I overstep-

Amato: N-No. It's fine. It's-Heh...

Amato wipe his eyes where the tears brimming. He look at Reverse.

Amato: I- You can....Y-You can call me dad,Reverse.

Reverse:... Really..? You look too distraught..

Amato: No,no! Please,I insist...

Reverse: *gulp* Okay....dad.

Hearing Reverse said it one more time making Amato burst into tears. It made his heart ache.

Oh,how he wanted to hear that for a long time.
How he longed for his family.
His parents.
His wife.
His son.

Amato: Can I hug you,please?

Reverse look startled,but nodding nonetheless. He let the older man pull him into a hug,quietly sobbing on his shoulder. Reverse just pat Amato's shoulder,not knowing it meant a lot for Amato. To be call a dad. A title he really longed for.

Amato: I will take care of you. Take care of Ali,both of you. I will give you both everything you deserve. Nothing will hurt you guys anymore. We will never be alone in this world anymore....

Reverse just sit there,letting the older man to hug him,caressing his hair softly like he's a glass that would break in slightest touch.

Reverse: You promised,dad?

Hearing Reverse said that again with such a soft voice made Amato's tears run down faster.

Amato: I will....son. I will do everything in my power to protect you both. Please......Stay with me..

Reverse is quiet for a while,before resting his chin on Amato's head,returning his hug.

Reverse:....I will be looking forward it,dad....You will be the best dad ever...

Reverse lay his head on Amato's shoulder, letting the man to hold him as long as he wanted. He felt warm and protected.

A hug from a father.

Amato keep on hugging Reverse,not even wanting to let go,afraid if this is only a sweet dream.

It's fine.....

It's fine if they had no blood relation. It's fine....He got a son now...No,two son. And he will do what it takes to protect them.

He had a family again.

Oh,how he wish this to be forever because it felt so good to be true.

Ali woke up the next day,startled when he see himself on Reverse's bed,where the latter isn't even there.

Ali: *rub his eyes* Reverse...? Are you there?

He called out,but never got a reply. Ali look around. Everything is back to normal now,right?

Ali jump down from the bed,walking around to find the now brown head boy.

Ali: Reverse? Sir Amato?

He called out,walk around trying to find both of them. Then,he arrived at Amato's office. Ali open the door,just to see the older man is sleeping on a couch,with a blanket.

Ali: Sir Amato? *gently pat Amato's shoulder*

Being awaken from sleep, Amato slowly sit up,rubbing his eyes before stretching a bit,yawning.

Amato: Ali..? What are you doing here? *look at the fallen blanket**confused* Where's Reverse?

Ali: I was about to ask the same question. I thought he was with you?

Amato: *rub his head* Well,we did talk at night. After that....I think I just fell asleep.

Something felt weird and Ali feel it. His stomach making flips and it made him uneasy. He take out his phone, dialing Reverse's number,but it just went to voicemail.

Ali: Y-You think he just...M-Maybe working out or something?

Amato: *trying to dial Reverse's number* No...He just woke up from a coma. There's no way his body could handle working out right now.

Now both of them getting worried.

Amato: L-Let's just search for him. Maybe he just walking around or trying to get use with his powers again.

Ali feel a little at ease when Amato said that. He nodded,and they both start searching for Reverse in the entire building.

They search high and low for Reverse,asking everyone but no one seem the brown haired boy and it's worrying both of them.

Amato: Maybe he just....out? Let's wait until night. Who knows?

He might not shown it,but Amato is worried. But he trusted Reverse just walking around to clear his head now since he had change.

Maybe he had a new view of the world?

While they were walking together,Ali noticed something.

His crystal is missing?

Ali: *pat his pocket* Huh? Where did I put it?

Amato: Hm? What is it?

Ali: My crystal. The one Reverse gave me. Did you see it?

Amato shook his head.

Amato: I don't think I've seen it. Maybe you left it in your house?

Ali: My house? No,I don't think-

Then it clicks to Ali. Reverse probably went home to pack up some things since they will be staying with Sir Amato now.

Ali: *tapi his forehead* Silly me. He probably packing up all his clothes and toys at our hideout house. *chuckled*

Hearing Ali said that makes Amato let out a relieved exhale.

Amato: Do we pick him up now or? *Raised one eyebrow*

Ali: *look at the time* Maybe he wants to be alone for a while. But sure, let's go. I want to take something from my place too.

Amato nodded and take his car out to drive to Ali's hideout house. It is almost sunset now,and Ali feel nostalgic somehow.

Ali: I can't believe this is my life now... *mumble**looking out the window*

Amato:*focus on the road**chuckled* Well,you don't have to worry about them anymore. I had made sure,none of them get what they deserved.

Ali just giggle before looking out again. Something in his heart felt uneasy somehow,with the new change.

They arrived at the small hut that has been Ali's home. Ali excitedly run while Amato just walking behind him,smiling.

Ali open the door,not surprised it wasn't locked. He expected to see Reverse with his usual smirk or maybe staring at the penguin stairs toy like always.

To his surprise,he was no where to be found. The toys he bought,all of them is on the table,even his favourite jungle knife,which is Knify,laid perfectly on the table with its sheath.

Then,Ali noticed it. His crystal,on the top of the penguin stairs toy. All the colour is back to normal.

But as soon Ali touched it,it shines before the colours dulled into nothing,just shining white.

There's a paper, taped to a clapping monkey toy.

Ali felt his stomach drop.

Amato then entered the house when he didn't hear anything from the outside.

Amato: Ali? What's wrong?

Ali immediately turned to Amato,his face is pale with cold sweats. Then,he run passed Amato to be at his surrounding.

Therefore,he noticed it. There's burn marks.

Like a spaceship rocket burn.

Ali: No....no,no,no,no,no please no....

Amato,who is in confusion,walk to Ali,before noticing what's going on.

Amato: Ali...?

Ali: No....No he can't be gone. He can't leave me...No...

Amato look around. The area looked like a spaceship had landed and took off.

A long time ago.

Ali turned to Amato,tears in his eyes with desperation,he grab Amato's shirt.

Ali: Let's search for him! H-He might not be far! Maybe h-he's at our secret island? Yeah,yeah! That should be it!

Ali is closer to be hysterical now. Amato bit his lips.

His memories with Reverse last night played in his mind.

Amato(in mind): So, that's why I didn't remember when did I fall asleep.

Amato just nod,wanting to comfort Ali when he knew what had happened.

But he forced himself to think positive.

Reverse said he wanted to be a family. He wanted a family.

So,with a little hope in Amato's heart,he drive back to his office which have advanced technology.

He let Ali to use anything.

Ali immediately went to the big screen,typing and searching for the island. Where Reverse has changed it into their own secret place.

He used IRIS's memory to find the coordinates. The crystal didn't help to locate Reverse.

To his horror,the island is no longer there.

It almost like it doesn't even exist.

Ali: No...

Ali fell onto his knees, without any second,tears started rolling down his cheeks as he started sobbing.

Amato immediately drop to his knees and pulled Ali into a hug as the boy cried hysterically.

His cries and words all jumbled up where Amato himself cannot catch what the boy is saying. But he knew it is about how everything is his fault and on.

Amato look at the screen showing a big error. He pursed his lips,feeling himself tearing up too,but he hold it,just hugging Ali tightly into his arms.

Ali cried hard. It has been long since he cried so hard like this,sobbing uncontrollably. The guilt is eating him alive. Reverse had left. He didn't get to talk to Reverse for one last time.

Reverse is gone. He was no longer on Earth.

His companion.

His friend.

His brother.

His family.

He was left behind again by someone he truly dear.

And all of it is his fault again.

Somewhere in space,a big black and orange spaceship glides through the galaxy.

Reverse Elemental is splitting up,all of them looking at the report,checking the condition of the main ship,making up the lost time.

A hiss from an automatic door was heard,and their heads turn to the sound of the noise.

Their young master,now with white hair with black stripes again.

His eyes is void from any emotion.

As the leader of the Elemental, Reverse Quake stepped up.

R.Quake: Young master, how are you feeling?

Reverse: Empty.

Reverse walk to his throne like seat,looking out to the windows,staring at the stars and the darkness.

Reverse Elemental look at each other,now worried.

They knew how much their young master wanted to change for the better,and last night he listen to himself and show weakness.

But when he suddenly made a decision to leave Earth,that made them in confusion.

R.Thorn: But...why do we leave Ali behind..?

R.Blaze: Right,without talking to him.

Reverse just look longingly outside,resting his chin on his palm before sighing slightly.

Reverse: Remember my first promise when we were first at Earth..?

R.Ice: The one that you said you will stay with Ali until he didn't need you anymore?

R.Solar: Or is it the one about the better replacement?

Reverse nodded to both suggestions.

Reverse: Yes. Now,I knew Amato will take care of him. MATA is no longer a danger to him. He didn't need me anymore. And he got better replacement. *Sigh*

Reverse look at his hand.

Reverse: They were right. Freak likes me,had no place in the world. I've far too gone. Nothing I do will fix anything. No matter what I did.

The Elementals look at each other and back to their young master.

R.Thunderstorm: And you okay with this?

R.Cyclone: What did your heart said?

Reverse: It doesn't matter. It was safer for them to be on Earth. Plus,those forsaken agency is still after us. They will be safer without me.

All of them just look at each other.

They knew.

They knew how their young master is hurting.

They knew how broken he is to leave his new life behind.

But he had no choice.

This is the life that he can't choose.

The life he was raised into.

Reverse: *sigh* Forget about the sappy,sad stuff. I had left everything behind,and I don't regret it. So stop with that pitying face. It irritates me.

Hearing his old cold demeanor voice made Reverse Elemental nod and went to their station.

R.Thunderstorm: Engines and boosters are in 100%. Ready to jump into hyperspace.

R.Cyclone: Shield intact,ready for the jump.

Reverse just look down at Reverse Elemental who sit on their respective seats, controlling the ship.

R.Quake: Ready to jump into hyperspace on your mark,young master.

They all look at Reverse,waiting for his order.

Reverse: *smirk* Let's give the galaxies a surprise after a long hiatus,shall we? Take off!

By his order,Reverse Quake pushed the lever and off their go.

Leaving everything behind,The Conqueror of the Galaxies is back.

And this time,he will make sure nothing will stop him to fullfil Retakka's wish.

Conquer the galaxies. No mercy.

As he,Reverse,the abomination of the galaxies,will rule the galaxies with his powers,in his hands, and nothing will stop him.

Hello my potatoes! I proudly annouced that Fugitive has come to the end! As for today is Fugitive's Second Anniversary!🥳

I love this book,and it has been a blast writing it. Hehe,see? I told you no one die- :3

I just want a difference in this book's ending,and I think it's the best I could do haha. Sorry if the ending is too boring,I did the best I can.
