Ali cursed under his breath as the wire tighten around his body. No wonder it was too easy to break in. They were expecting him to break in.

He was right. There were MATA's agents on that night of the ceromony.

He wondered maybe they were the 'acquaintance' that Sir Daniel told about.

A.Ganz: No way to run now,Ali. Now hand over yourself.

Ali: No.*struggle*

A.Dayang:*sigh* Ali,it has been three years. You have to give up.

Ali: As long as I am alive I will never turn myself over. If you told me back then that my mother was IRIS's creator,I won't get used by her freaking ex bestfriend!

The wire tighten again and Ali winced in pain. Dayang took the briefcase and opened it.

A.Dayang: I don't know why are you risking yourself to get caught just because of this weapon. 

Ali: Because I wanted too. Screw off.

Ali look around to find a way out from this mess. He already got the blueprint data in IRIS so he doesn't need the case.

How...How can he escape now?

Ali: Ouh,thats right. Play time!

Using IRIS,he cut off the power supply,making it pitch black. Due to the distraction,the wire around him loosen and Ali immediately climb on the shelves and kick the ventilation circuit open and crawl through it.

Ali: Damn MATA,damn agents,damn everything!*nagging*

Ali managed to crawl out from the weapon bunker and start running in the hallway.

The power is back on and now several agents starting to chase after him.

He slide through the agents in front of him and jump over the drones and droids.

As he almost arrive at the main door,it is shut tight with layers of securities gate.

Ali: Oh for heck sake-*try overriding system*

BANG!

Extreme pain suddenly burst on his right shoulder.

Blood ...?

...:* pop* You can't run anymore, Ali.

At that moment Ali realized he had been freaking shot-

Ali held his shoulder and looked back.

All the young agents were behind him.

Ali: Of freaking course...

Alicia:* sigh* You shouldn't use live ammunition, Roza.

Roza:* rolled eyes* Beat it. Unlike you, I dare to make my targets not move until they are captured.

Live bullets ?!

Are they trying to capture him or kill him?!

Ali:* panting* Heh, are you that desperate to catch me?

They could see Ali's jacket which was starting to turn red with blood.

Alicia: Ali, stop now. It's all over. You're under siege!

Khai: Yeah,just come back with us,bro!

Say that three years earlier and he might considered-

Ali;* holds back the pain* Argh ...

He has to find a way out now ... He doesn't want to be caught!

Ali:* soft chuckle* You? Surround me? In your dreams.

Simultaneously, the lights around them flashed and the IRIS began to glow bluish.

Iman: That ..

Rudy:* realization* Stop him! That's Override Mode!

All the droids were protecting Ali and the vault that covered the main door opened slowly and Ali slipped in through the small space.

Ali: Hah..Hah ... It hurts ...Gosh...*takes the elevator*

The elevator took Ali up directly to the entrance of Mamak Maju. It was dark because it was closed. Still in Override Mode, Ali opened the door of the mamak shop and boarded his scooter.

Ali:* glowing eyes* Ah ... I have to treat this wound first ..

He didn't even get to find a shelter when suddenly a bullet pass by his head,barely grazing his cheeks.

They were all there,chasing him with cars and riders.

Heck they even got a helicopter to shine the spotlight on him!

Ali: Crap crap crap! I can't get caught now!

Ali turn his scooter to the other side of the alleyway,pushing through the dirty path between the building,maybe knock out some trashcans,just to make sure they didn't catch him.

He can't get caught before saving Reverse.

He managed to slip his way to the alleyway between two building and out to the other side of the street but there are more agents there.

One of their blaster shot manages to hit his scooter and Ali crashes against a building.

Ali: Frick- *look at the broken scooter* Double frick.

The light flashes against his vision and Ali immediately scrambled on his feet and get inside a tall building.

Dumb decision,I know.

The electronics around him flickers to life as his Override Mode is still working. And it gave out warning of his bloody shoulder now.

His vision become hazy.

Ali: *hold his head**keep going* Please...Please hold on...You need to get home....

The banging of the ground floor and glass shattering cause the ringing in his ears. Ali get inside an elevator the exact moment the door was bursted open.

He laying against the wall,trying to get to his senses while pressing hard on his bullet wound. The blood is dripping through his arm to the floor below.

Ali: Ha...*soft pant* What should I do...? They already surrounded this building...

Am I gonna let myself get capture just like that?

What about Reverse?

Is he okay now?

He is going to die and it's all my fault...

His Override Mode starting to flicker out due to his lack of energy. Ali shakes his head hard.

He need to stay awake.

A ding could be heard and the door open. He step out,slowly. It is the top floor of the building. He need to escape like he usually did.

Jumping from the building to another building and don't stop until you are safe.

As he try to open the roof door,a bullet grazed his hand making him flinched.

That marbel bullet. Alicia.

Ali sigh lightly and turn around. There is only Alicia there.

Alicia: Ali,please stop this. We don't want to hurt you.

Ali: Yeah,you just did.

Referring to his wound now.

Alicia: *desperate sigh* Look,I want to help you,Ali.

Ali: No. You want to put me in jail. Take IRIS back from me and let me rot in the jail for the rest of my life. Thank you but that is not how I wanted to live my life.

His vision become blurry he had to blink several times.

Alicia: You are badly injured-

Ali: *cut* Nothing that I can't handled. I'm fine! Just leave me alone!

Alicia: *sigh* You know I can't do that.

Alicia start to step up to Ali.

Ali: Even after three years gap you are still annoying as ever.*deep exhale**look at his wound*

Alicia: If you just let me help you in the first place, things won't be like this. You ran away,Ali. You made yourself look like a criminal.

Ali: So? What if I am? I don't really have any much of choices. Even if I stay,I would still labeled as the traitor. They would mock me,hurt me like they always did but even worse. I had no one with me at that time. I lost my dad and knew about my mother's death on the same day. Do you think I can think rationally after that? It was a miracle I was still alive up until now.

Silence for a second.

Ali: But,being alone is the best option other than being around people that would constantly calling me names and such. I already go through that phase.I can't handle it anymore, Alicia. I just wanted to be accepted.

His mind suddenly flashes to Reverse.

Ali: *soft smile* And that someone is waiting for me now.

Ali immediately open the roof door and lock it before Alicia could pass through. He hide in the shadow as the helicopter is shining the spotlight around the roof.

He doesn't have so much time till his energy dropped.

Ali look down just to see the building was surrounded with MATA agents. They really overdid it just to capture him back. 

IRIS blueish light begin to slowly dim.

This is it. The end of his journey. Ali weakly sat against the corner of the building as he look at the door broke down and all young agents there. The spotlight shone on him.

Ali: Okay fine,you won. Just let finish this quick..

His hand is no longer pressing his bloody bullet hole. He's tired.

Can he sleep?

The core leaders in training stepped up.

Khai: Ali...

Ali: Save it. I don't want to hear your pity. It is better if you just let me die in peace already.

Iman: WE will never let that happen.

Moon: Let us help you,please!

Ali:*glare* I don't need your help. We are not friends. Not anymore. Argh...

IRIS got turned off and Ali quickly grab and hold on it.

Rudy stepped up to him with a coff.

Rudy: Maybe if you actually let us,things won't get to this way.

Ali: Heh,and endure all the pity stare,rude remarks as traitor? No thanks. I choose death.

He look down to IRIS and hold it tight.

Ali: Although...if this is the way it would be..I only have one regret.

His eyes started watering,adding the blur to his eyes as the agents look at him questionly.

Alicia: Which is?

Ali: I will never get see Reverse again..And never get to repay him for what he had done for me...*small smile*

He just freely give out his hands to Rudy just like that to cuff.

Rudy:*sigh* Just...bear with it,okay? We will get you treated.

Ali: I prefer dying,thank you very much.*sigh*

Tonight is really windy,isn't it?

Too windy actually-

Jump.

Ali: What?

Ali look around. The agents were looking at him without saying anything and Rudy is still holding him captured.

Rudy: What is it?

Ali: N-No. Maybe I lost too much blood I-I must be imagining things.

Oh boy he was so wrong.

The helicopter that shining the spotlight on the building suddenly exploded into pieces.

Khai: What is happening?!

Moon: Take cover!

A rain of blue arrows came down onto them,some of them got hit before they take cover.

Let.Him.Freaking.Go.

Something pushes Rudy away from Ali and he landed wrong,breaking his arm.

Ali,who knew the voice are,sighing heavily and just let his knees fall on the floor,tired.

Guess he made that certain alien mad.

Alicia:*keep shooting back at the arrow**look at Ali* Ali! Come here!

Magically none of the arrow actually hit Ali.

Jump.

The voice once again says that and Ali weakly stood up and inching closer to the edge.

Ali: I will die if I jump with a condition like this.

I will catch you.

Ali: How...can I trust you?

Did I ever lied to you,stupid brat?

Ali let out a chuckle.

Ali: Never.

And with that,Ali let himself fall from the building. The screams of the young agents barely annoying him. After that,he could feel someone catch him and stop him from falling.

And you don't need a genius to guess who is he.

Reverse lightly cough while adjusting his grip on Ali. He sees the blood soaking his jacket.

Someone's going to die tonight.

Not Ali obviously.

The MATA's agents got out from their hiding just to meet Reverse in Cyclone's mode,standing on a hoverboard while holding Ali close to him.

Rudy: *hold his arm**hiss* That is the boy you guys saw at the mall. In the report.

Roza: Who is he? An acquaintance?*aim at Reverse*

So suddenly a blue arrow slide through and stab Roza straight at her shoulder and hand.

The same side like she shot Ali.

As she screaming in pain and some of the attention goes to her,the core leaders in training look at Reverse.

Alicia: Who are you and what is your relationship with Ali?!

Reverse: Ouh? *Tilt head**look at Ali* He is my cute little adoptive brother. Yeah,it is what it is,stupid mortal. *Mocking tone*

Reverse would love to stay and make a joke on them, but Ali is not responding and his breathing become very slow.

Without saying a word,Reverse turn his back on them and start speeding away from that place.

He already destroyed their helicopter. That should be enough for them to stay away.
