Ali:....Damn it-

Ali immediately take Reverse's hand and hurriedly walk away even with his throbbing ankle.The customers around give them way to pass not wanting to get in trouble with the white-haired male.

Viktor,who is out of his shock immediately chase after them.

Viktor: Ali! Hey,Ali wait!!

Ali kept on walking fast while dragging Reverse with him.

Ali: Don't look back.

Reverse: Who is he? You know him?

Ali: Someone I knew in the past.

Reverse: Enemy?

Ali: *tight-lipped* Best friend..

When they finally reached the front door,the parking lot was surrounded by police cars and they stopped everyone from leaving the store.

Apparently,someone had called the police when Reverse beat the hell out of that man.

Viktor managed to approach them and tightly hold on Ali's other hand.

Viktor: Ali!

Ali startled and look back at Viktor.

Big mistake.

Viktor saw him under the hood.

Ali: Y-You got the wrong person! Back off!*tried to pull his hand*

But Viktor's grip is tight,almost doesn't want to let go.

Viktor: Ali,I knew you since we were in kindergarten do you think you can lie to me?!

Ali stopped struggling. He can't run. He can't hide the truth now.

Viktor found him-

When Ali didn't say anything,Viktor turn him around and pull the hood off his head.

Ali averted his gaze down to the tiled floor.

Viktor: Ali...

He gently hold Ali's face to look at him.

Ali: H-Hey Viktor..*really nervous**stutter* Look, I-I'm so sorry ran a-away from the foster home b-but-!

Ali jolted a bit when Viktor pull him into a hug. A really tight but comfortable hug.

Viktor: I....just glad the rumours were not true...You...are still alive..*tighten hug* I missed you..

Ali doesn't have a choice but to hug Viktor back. He missed his best friend. He really do.

Ali: I missed you too Viktor... I'm sorry I left without saying anything. Everything just so messed up pass three years.

They both let go of the hug and look at each other.

Viktor: Wow,even pass three years you are still shorter than me. *soft chuckle*

Ali: H-Hey,I still have a long time to grow up okay? You're the one growing so tall.*slight pout*

Viktor lightly chuckle to that.

Viktor: So....How are you doing? Good?

Ali: Err....Yeah. Life's good. I got....stuff to do...So....bye!

Ali tried to run pass Viktor but he managed to catch Ali's arm before he could  run.

Viktor: No way I'm not letting you go!

Ali:*pull on his hand* I-I have to go now! My friend-

Viktor: Is over at the police to report about what had happened.

Ali turn around to see Reverse is not with him anymore. He is outside, talking to a policeman and the police is noting down his statement.

Ali:*sigh* You can't be seen around me,Viktor... It's not safe for you..

Viktor: Ali...I'm your bestfriend since...ever. Every problem that you had,I-I helped you get through it. Even when we were in junior school. I...How can it be like this Ali..?

Ali kept his mouth tightly shut. Viktor can't know about his life now.

His dangerous life.

Ali: Look... Something happened...okay? I can't be out in public. N-Not like this...

Viktor: Why? Tell me...Since when we didn't tell each other secrets anymore? We always shared everything! Every problems,every secret..You never like this ever since....*realization* Since you and Alicia joined the stamp club.

Viktor's grip on Ali's hand is still tight.

Ali: Viktor...Please. *almost crying*

Viktor: I need to know the truth,Ali. I-I can't let you be alone again. I care about you.

Ali sighed heavily. He want to run. But Viktor's word really...sincere. He really missed him.

Ali: I-

Before Ali could say anything,someone ripped off Viktor's hand from his arm.

Reverse.

Reverse: Come on shortstick they are here.

Ali: W-Who-?

Reverse: That fricken agency who were after you.

MATA.

Damn it-

Viktor: Wait-! You can't just run away again like that! I won't let you!

Reverse: Well,sorry to burst your bubble shortie but both of us have to go now so back off.

Now,Viktor and Reverse are doing death glare contest.

Viktor: I don't want to loose my best friend. Not again. *Still not wavering*

Some of MATA's agents in disguise sees them and Reverse noticed it.

Reverse: You will see him when you see him. Next time!

Reverse quickly pick Ali up and throw him over his shoulder and started running the opposite way.

Ali: W-Woi! *startled*

Viktor didn't get to chase after them when one of the MATA agent hold him back.

Agent: Are you okay? Were those two threatened you or anything?

Viktor: W-Wha- Heck no! They-

You can't be seen around me,Viktor... It's not safe for you..

Ali's word ringed inside his head. Viktor hesitating for a bit before sighing lightly.

Viktor: They just stumbled into me. That's all sir.

The agents nod before walking away from Viktor while talking to his com.

Viktor sighed again and slowly sits on the bench there.

He just found his lost best friend who was pronounced as dead by everyone near him. He's alive, still smaller than him.

And he got a new friend.

Honestly,the white-haired male with him is kinda scary-looking. He never seen anyone with red eyes like that. Is that contacts?

Maybe Ali will tell him the truth when the times comes.

He just need to trust Ali.

Away from the mart,near a park,Ali sits on the bench while Reverse is attending his bruising ankle.

Reverse: What did you do to anger that man too much? *Still focusing*

Ali: He stumbled into me hard. I did try to walk pass him. But he just didn't want to let me pass.

Reverse hummed.

Reverse: That boy with you earlier. You said he was your best friend?

Ali: *tight-lipped* Yeah...

Reverse: He seems nice.

A small smile drawn on Ali's face. The memories of him and Viktor spending time together are getting into him.

Ali: He's the only friend I had back then. Even in the kindergarten. He was so nice,protect me from bullies and so on...Even after...what happened..*remembered the Zali's Mart incident*

After Reverse done attending Ali's bruise,he sat next to Ali.

Reverse: I guess we should go to another mart or should I go alone?*gesturing to Ali's ankle*

Ali: I'm fine. I'm not fragile,dammit. Let's go.

Ali stand up wobbly and start walking with Reverse next to him.

Reverse: So,are you going to meet him again or..?

Ali: Why would you care? It's my problem not yours.

Reverse: Welp,just asking.

Ali sighed softly.

Ali: Like you said,I will see him when I see him. If MATA or any of my enemies sees us together,they would go after him and not me.

Reverse: Having an acquaintance is annoying. Your enemy are going to use them as your weakness.

Ali looked at Reverse. Do he have an acquaintance?

Ali: You sound like you had experienced it.

Reverse: Yeah I did. But that bastard only want my money. He stole from my weapon garage and sold it to other. Heh,I caught him when I saw one of my enemy using it.

Ali: *shiver* You killed him?

Reverse: Nah,he managed to get away and they superforce wannabe hero saved him. He doesn't worth anything at all anyway.

Superforce wannabe hero?

Reverse: Anyway,where to?

Ali let it slide and start talking about where they should go to get groceries.

Maybe one day Reverse would tell him.
