~Maria~

"YOU CANT KEEP ME HERE FOREVER!!!" Maria screamed as she was thrown into her room. "Oh yes we can! You are never seeing them again! Especially that boy!" Joseph yelled before slamming and locking her door. Maria fell to the ground and cried. This wasn't her home. This wasn't even close. It was a prison. They had confiscated her phone for 'security measures'. There was absolutely no way for her to contact anyone. A week passed by and she didn't leave her room. She had food delivered to her room but she hardly ate any of it. She didn't leave even when they unlocked her door. She didn't go help in the kitchen, visit the garden, clean, explore the property, or go read in the library. She just sat there in her room and did nothing. The only person she allowed to even go near her was Licori. Even then she hardly spoke. She mainly just stared out her window in sadness. Maria sat on her bed and gently held her ice rose. She frowned as she heard voices arguing rang through the entire mansion. No doubt it was probably Jewels yelling at her sister Licori. That's all they do now, yell at each other. By the way this argument sounds, this time it's about Maria. Maria just sat at her desk and listened in on the argument.
"You have no say in what happens to Maria!"

"And you do Jewels? Are you her mother?"

"Shut up Licori, you know nothing"

"I know she needs her family, her friends. Who are you and the other two to think you three can take that away from her?!"

"If it weren't for you, she wouldn't be in her room right now Licori, your to bla-"

"Shut the hell up sister! Don't you dare blame this one on me! She wouldn't be in her room if you three hadn't had ran her over and claimed to be her friends after she lost her precious memories! Do you know how much it hurts her? She's hurting!"

"That is not my problem! We NEED her! She's very important and we won't let her family, friends, and so called 'love' ruin this for us!"

"You don't need her, none of you do. You WANT her because of her label in the world. Because you three want what is rightfully hers and her families!"

"So? Does she know that? Of course not! For all she knows, she's just here without a reason! She never knew she was a princess of a long lost kingdom! Destroyed? No one knows because it's been hidden away. That Miteta chick knows where it is because her long lost kingdom is next door. Could we have taken Miteta? Probably if she didn't have all those stupid body guards. Maria was an easy target and besides, she can find the kingdom. Even if she never knew about it. Besides when we got there, we could do two things. Kill Maria, or hand her over to her father"

"H-Her father? B-But that's impossible! He's dead! Joseph killed him!"

"Or so we thought. That kingdom has power. We all believe he's there, alive and well. When the three of us get there, we would take over the kingdom and take them all out one by one and before anyone knew it, we would have the world!"

"The world? The three of you are mad!"

"Oh dear sister, tell me something I didn't know."

"I-I need to warn Mari-"

"Oh no your not! I don't care if I promised myself I would protect you. You will NOT ruin this sister dearest"

"What happened to you? Your not the Jewels I remembered!"

"No I'm not, I'm so much better than the old Jewels. And my little sister won't try to bring the old Jewels back, especially if I ban her from the manor"

"W-What? No! Y-You can't!"

"Oh I can...and I just did! Goodbye sister!"

"No!"

Maria flinched as she felt the front door open and slam shut. Licori...what have they done? Princess? Me? My father alive? So many thoughts were going through Maria's mind.

"Jewels..."

"What is it Joseph?"

"Was that the most intelligent choice? Kicking your younger sister out?"

"Did you two have a better idea?"

"Yeah, we could have kept her in the cell block"

"And why would we do that?"

"It would prevent her from warning Maria's friends and family"

"Oh well, what's done is done, we must move forward now"

"...if...if you insist Jewels"

"Now now don't frown, my sister was a pest anyways, I never really trusted her around Maria"

Maria's heart sank. They did this. This is why she didn't remember. They were why she couldn't remember. And Licori tried saving her from it all. Licori. Maria rushed to her window doors and opened them, stepping out to her balcony. Licori stood across the street from the mansion, looking straight at Maria. Maria sadly looked at her. Licori cupped her hands together and whispered into her hands. Then she raised her hands to the air and opened them. There, a small gold butterfly made from sparkly gold grains flew across the street to Maria. It flew around her a bit before resting in her palm. There she heard a whisper from Licori. "Don't worry, we'll save you" was what it said. Then it dispersed into thin air. Maria looked across the street at Licori. Licori waved at her. Then as soon as a car passed, she was gone in an instant. Maria sadly walked back in her room and closed the doors.
