"Hey, Nika" Norris said to me as soon as I got in the car. "Hey" I responded sheepishly while fasting my seat belt. "Where are we heading?" I said after fasting my seat belt. "Hmm how about to go get something to eat?" Norris said while staring at me and putting the car in drive, "Sure, anywhere is fine" I said not giving my thoughts a second chance. "Ok, Burger O's it is," Norris said while stepping on the gas.

The car ride to Burger O's was awkward and extremely silent, I couldn't bring up the courage to say anything to the muscular hunk beside me instead I stared forward. We pulled up at Burger O's and I hoped out of the tall Range Rover, me being 5"5 it wasn't really a struggle, but for others, I thought it could be hell. Norris stepped gracefully out the car with no problems and opened the door leading into the restaurant, we found a table in the corner that was surrounded by huge glass panes that stretched from the top to the middle of the wall. We walked over to the seat and sat down, a waiter that looked about my age came
over and introduced herself. Her name tag read "Chelly", "Hello I'm Chelly I'll be your waiter is there anything I can get you guys to drink?" Chelly said while passing out the menus and eyeing Norris. "I'll have a water," Norris said while looking at the menu not really paying attention to Chelly "Is that all?" Chelly said not even asking me what I wanted, I got irritated and spoke clearly "I would like a mango smoothie and that will be all, for now, thank you!". The waiter gave me a little nasty glare like I had ruined something special. "Ok, I'll be back later to see if you guys are ready," Chelly said while walking away, I looked through the menu to look at my options, I saw a Bacon-Mushroom Burger, that caught my eye. "I want this," I said while pointing to the burger and showing Norris "hmm it looks good, then I get this one" Norris said while pointing at a Jalapeño cheeseburger, "bleh!" I said while holding my stomach sarcastically. "Oh come on what's so bad about this one" Norris said while resting his elbows on the table, "hm spicy foods aren't my favorite, I'd rather have something sweet" I said while tilting my head to the side and staring into Norris hazel eyes, which screamed excitement "hmm sweets aren't my taste" Norris said while laughing "who would have known we have such different taste". "Well everyone's different," I said while giving Norris a smile, after a few minutes Chelly can back with our drinks. "Here you are, are you guys ready to order?" Chelly said while giving us a big smile, "uh I'll have a jalapeño cheeseburger, and she will have a bacon mushroom burger" Norris said while handing the lady our menus "ok will that be all?" "Yes" I respond instinctively and Chelly nodded and walked away.

A few minutes passed and Chelly came back with our food. As she was setting the food down me and Norris was making space, the plates were piping hot with steam arising from the food "ohh this looks good" I said as the lady was walking away, my mouth practically drooling. I said my prayers in my head and went to town "How is it?" Norris asked me while staring "goo-" I stopped midway when I noticed Norris hasn't even touched his burger, "aren't you gonna eat?" I said while pointing at Norris food, he looked at me then his food and nodded. We ate our food, shared some laughs, and talked about our life's. I sighed in happiness and looked out the window, I immediately froze when I saw huge gray storm clouds heading our way. "Oh god we should get home" I said while gasping and turning my head toward Norris who was pulling money out of his wallet, he set $5 on the table and asked our waiter to come here, he calmly asked for the check and she gladly gave it to him, we meaning Norris gave her the money and we left.

We slowly pulled up at my house and I noticed no one was home, I picked up my purse and sat it on my lap and dug through it looking for my keys. I stopped when I noticed they weren't there, "oh no," I said with defeat and sadness in my voice, "what's wrong?" Norris said while putting the car in park and looking at me." I left my keys on the kitchen counter in my house" I said while I mentally slapped my self. The storm clouds looking darker and getting closer didn't help at all either. "Is no one home?" Norris said while looking at me who was slumped down in the seat. "No," I said immediately. "Hm..want to come to my place?" Norris said while giving me a bright smile, "uh no I don't want to be a burden on you and your family and stuff" I said while putting my hands up in refusal. "It's fine I live alone, and it's about to storm anyway" I ended up nodding in defeat.
