I woke up and yawned, 'man with everything that has happened I'm surprised my head hasn't exploded' I thought while sitting up and looking around. It was dark and I couldn't hear any voices 'they must be out' I thought as I got up to fix myself a bowl of anything. I checked the refrigerator, cabinets, and freezer but stopped when spotted a big tub of mint chocolate chip ice cream, I looked around as if I was gonna steal it and picked it up 'this must be Celest's, she wouldn't mind if I had a little right?' I questioned while slowly lifting the lid. My mouth was practically drooling at the fresh smell of mint. Ice cream was my absolute weakness, I loved the creamy cold substance and the flavor oh my god, words couldn't even describe my love for all the flavors. While I was scooping a big chunk of ice cream I heard a frustrated growl, it startled me into almost dropping the silver spoon onto the cream tile floor "uh I'm sorry-" I began to mumbled some excuses "WHY NOT!" a voice began to scream, it sounded a lot like Ao. My curiosity was at its peak so I stuck my head out of the kitchen and looked around. It was Ao, Celest, and Ace all gathered at the dining table with a little candle lit in the center. "Don't get me wrong Ao, I like her I truly do but I can't put my home at risk for a stranger?" Celest said calmly 'are they...talking about me?' I thought to myself while looking down at my feet. "I know, but I just need to be here for a few more days, just until we settle things out" Ao begged Celest "I'm sorry but I agree with Celest...You can't stay here any longer" Ace finally spoke "but why? It's not like thereafter you?!" Ao yelled, making me flinch at the sudden outrage "Mind you who killed those 3 men, I helped you! They're probably hot on our trail right now!" Celest began to yell as well. The tension in the room was hot and I couldn't bear it any longer, "I owe her my life, and if she is the princess I will follow as her servant" Ao said firmly "You're in love with her, aren't you" Ace said coldly and the room grew silent "no, but she saved my life. I could've died in the middle of this godforsaken forest but she nursed me back to health-" Ao was cut off "isn't that a bit much though?" Celest said "Celest you know HIS kind are loyal lapdogs to their saviors" Ace sneered. "What the fu-" Ao paused mid-sentence due to a sound I had caused. I looked at the spoon that I had left on the edge of the counter, it was now on the floor. My heart sped up and I dashed out of the back door 'I won't let anyone be killed because of me' I thought as I successfully jumped over the water- that separated the house from the forest- I stopped when I landed and looked back at the house. "I'll protect you again" I mumbled before running off into the black forest.

I've been wandering the forest for 3 days and my legs are like jelly "I'm hungry" I groaned in agony as my stomach growled, 'maybe I shouldn't have left I began to think to myself but stopped when I noticed what I was thinking 'No, you can't have anyone else dying because of you' I thought as I sat down under a huge tree. I brought myself back up to spirit with songs of joy and peace, the birds chirped and the sun smiled down at the active wildlife. I began to remember my family and I regretted killing myself, 'now look at you, you're still a mess', my head spun at the insults I threw at myself. "You know it's not good to regret your decisions, because no matter what decision you make you're always gonna ask the 'what if' question" a deep, firm, and familiar voice called out from my right, I turned to the source of the voice expecting it to be some I knew but instead I saw a woman with bleach white hair, pale skin, and ocean blue eyes. I stood in shock and opened my mouth to speak but she stopped me "ah I am curious as to why your in the middle of the forest but I'd rather you eat first" she spoke, her voice was smooth a cold yet soft and warm like a mother" how do I know if I can trust you?" I questioned as she turned around "that's up to you but if you don't wanna starve then I suggest that you follow me!" She screamed while walking further and further away from me. I noticed that she was wearing gear, that was similar to a soldier, the female carried a sword on her right hip -I guess she was left-handed- and a small shield on her back. 'If she wanted to kill me she could have done it a while ago I thought as I hesitantly began to follow her through the woods.
