I woke up rubbing my temples, ugh I moaned before my stomach growled. I looked at my stomach and remembered I haven't eaten anything since I got here. So I stood up, headed for the exit, and peeked my head out of the cave to make sure it was all clear. Clear I thought before stepping out of the cave. I began to hum a tune my mother hummed to me all the time "mmmhm" I hummed out loud while looking for anything I could eat, "oo berries" I said happily and ran over to the berries to pick them, after which seemed like forever of picking I gathered them then walked over to a tree to sit down.

Just before I was about to put them in my mouth I noticed a little blue rabbit that was badly injured on its leg and whining. Aww you poor thing' I thought while staring at him and began to put my arms in my sleeves to take off the redshirt the teen gave me. After I had taken it off, I ripped it into thin strings, I then gently picked up the poor thing and sat him on my lap. The rabbit flinched a little before relaxing on my lap, I petted his head "I'm sorry but this is going to hurt," I said firmly before wrapping the piece of cloth around his leg.

The rabbit squirmed and made squeaking noises when I tied the cloth into a tight knot. They're all done I thought to myself and looked back at the berries. I picked them back up and stopped to look at the rabbit, "you're going to need these a lot more than me" I said before picking up a big leaf and smashing the berries to make it easier for his consumption, the rabbit just laid there watching me...like he was observing my actions.

I sat the crushed berries near the rabbit's mouth and motioned him to eat. The rabbit picked its head and slowly ate the berries with his ears up and its nose twitching. Suddenly his ears twitched and the bushes rustled, I'm not going to get caught again I thought to myself before looking at the rabbit. "I'm sorry, but I have to do this" I spoke sympathetically as I picked up the rabbit and ran towards the cave I slept in the previous night. When I got to the cave, I sat the rabbit down gently and panted. It's so hot in here, and I'm hungry I thought to myself and looked at the rabbit which slept. I followed suit and laid down on the cold rock and sighed, where am I? Who were those men and why did they capture me? I eventually fell asleep and so did my thoughts.

I slowly opened my eyes and sniffed the air. It smelled of food and man was I starving. "Oh, you're finally awake!" A deep voice said happily and my eyes shot open. I stared at the man who had invited himself into my cave, "who are you, and what are you doing in my cave? I said while narrowing my eyes at the man "I'm making breakfast," he said while keeping his back towards me and that's when I realized, the rabbit was missing and the man was cooking some type of animal. "Where's the rabbit?" I said trying to hold in my anger and he laughed loudly "he's right here," he said snickering, and I looked at the stick, bits of blue fur were still on the thing and I stared in disbelief.

"YOU KILLED HIM?!" I screamed which echoed through the cave, he just laughed again, "shut up and answer me, you sick psycho?!!"I yelled once again but this time I got up and stomped over to him." Haha calm down I'm fine," the man said while poking at the fire with a stick, "I didn't ask about you. I want to know where. Is.The.Rabbit?"I said with my anger rising and my breath becoming rigged. The man just sighed and out came blue bunny ears and a puffy tail "see I said I'm fine," he said while turning around to look at me. I just stood there in shock, "y-your the rabbit?" I stammered, and he nodded "then what is that" I pointed to the animal that was on the stick. "Oh, that's a bird I caught," he said with an ' oh yeah who's the best look on his face. "You caught, but you're a rabbit?" I asked with a confused look on my face, and he cleared his throat as a way of correction "actually I'm a carnivorous rabbit, I'm the rabbit that eats other rabbits" he said with a smile " cannibalism?"I questioned and he laughed "not exactly, we don't come from the same origin but if you see it that way then sure," he said while shrugging his shoulders and handing me the bird"eat, you need strength for where we're going,"he said while turning back around"going, who said I was going with you?" I said while taking a bite out of the bird. "Well, we're going to go see someone I know, and she might be able to tell you who you are, because you are not from this place, but a place much more powerful also" he trailed off "the owner of this cave will be returning soon and I don't think it'll like the thought of strangers in here uninvited," he said while giving me a grin, damn he was good.

I just nodded in response and gulped down the last of the bird. "When are we heading out?" I asked while watching the rabbit pack up somethings "right now" he responded not stopping his actions "oh o- wait now?!"I yelled."yes now, it's about to return any second," he said while putting the bag on his back, grabbing my arm and running out the cave."I'm Ao by the way!"He screamed at me and I nodded"I'm Nika...Nika Town!"I responded back, "well Nika, thank you for saving my life," he said while looking back at me and smiling.
