The room was cold and barren. Aged wallpaper was peeling off the paper thin walls and the wooden floor was scuffed and marked with the wear and tear of decades come and gone. Slowly the scrape of something sharp scratching against wood resounded around the room. As cautious and wary as any beast was that could feel the dark smothering presence of death, a long reptilian snout eased through the doorway into the tiny stale room. The nostrils flared as the stench of things long since decayed reached the creatures snout.

As if deciding something the scaled nose paused for a few moments before retreating back out the door. A second later a blonde-haired man in jeans and a black shirt slowly walked into the room. Behind him, the owner of the snout entered the room, a large reptile the colour of dark seas in the middle of a storm. Two semi translucent wings were folded upon the creatures lean long body, their lengths tightly wrapped around the reptiles long crouched body.

As the man moved over to a door on the other side of the room, the creature kept its snout pointing at a small door on the left side of the room. Giving a nod to the large reptile the man yanked open the door to a small built-in wardrobe. Though it was a wardrobe only rags of cloth hung on the scarce coat hangers that were in there now.

Collapsed in a pile at the bottom of the hole was a middle aged woman, her body covered in nothing but her skin and gashes from a wild beast. Sandy blonde hair was on top of her head it's strands lying on her neck and face like a curtain hiding the deceased from the living. With a mournful cry the reptiles body rippled before turning into a teenage boy, and running towards the woman, his sandy blond hair swishing behind him as tears flowed out of his dark blue eyes. The blonde man closed his eyes tightly, as the young boy held the dead woman's body. Swearing, he bashed his fist against the wall his heart tearing as he opened his eyes and looked down at the woman's dead body and listened to the young boy's heart wrenching cries for his mother.

Hey Guys so how was the first chapter? Hope you liked it, though it might be a little dark heheh 😅. So anyway I have most of chapter two down but it still needs a little editing I'll try to get it out as soon as possible.
