Becca came in the hall dancing and singing.

August was outside encouraging Chris mean while Becca was in here getting lit.

So they were done chopping things up and by now everything was on the stove . I know Becca had something up her sleeve. So I was just patiently waiting for my entertainment.

"So I see you and nappy head all good now "

"Yes girl we are and to be honest I don't wanna stress too much because this is my first baby and I don't wanna mess up"
She nodded.

"I hear you "

"We got in a mini argument on the way about how I took so long to tell him "

"Seeeeee I told you to tell him earlier . As much as I'm not a fan of him I know he ain't care about nothing when it comes to his child . He will drop everything "

I stuck my tongue out at her.
"Yeah stick your tongue out now Cuzz I'm right"
I rolled my eyes playfully
She shook her head before smiling evilly .
Chris pot of spaghetti and his gravy was on the stove.
My girl went and pulled out some lemons and some hot sauce .

I just knew Chris should've stayed inside. But they all wanted guy time.

"Rebecca what are you doing ?"

She shrugged "what? I'm Just tryna help a brother out" I cover my mouth when she started squeezing a lemon in his spaghetti.
Then we hear someone slide the door open .

With the quickness she open a random drawer and threw em all inside and posted up on the counter.

"So yeah Mya , glad you and August on good terms" I wanted to laugh so bad .

I nodded playing along. Turns out it was just Dennis.

"Aw damn you nearly made my heart fall out my chest ". She complained.

"We need to talk ". I was steady peeping in the convo. Becca looked at me like I knew what he wanted to talk about so I shrugged. Cuzz hell I for sure don't know.
Shoot . When somebody say something along those lines it ain't never good.

"So I bought one of these " he held up a pregnancy test .
Oooop. In shock I covered my mouth. "and after you peed I tried to distract you so I can get some on this" Becca looked pale.
Like she'd seen a ghost or something.

"Denn-"

"What 2 stripes mean?" He was serious. He still looked like he wanted to cry tho .
The air was getting thicker.

"I'm pregnant ?" She took it from him to see it for herself .

"I'm pregnant!!" She yelled throwing her hands up till the test flew out her hand and into Chris's gravy.

"Oh no!"

"It sinked in"
That is nasty . I don't care I don't care ,that's just nasty .
She basically peed in his gravy .
The thought had me laughing.

"This is not funny Mya , help me get it out " Becca complained.

"You peed in his gravy" by now I was wheezing . She looked at me trying to hide her smile and be serious . She looked at Dennis before she busted out laughing.

"I get it !"  She picked up a pot spoon and tried to take it out

"Man y'all dumb" Dennis said laughing too .
Still trying to take it out but to her luck
Chris and August were coming in now and we all heard them.
Becca started to freak out and in the midst she slapped Dennis.
This man looked so shocked right that I was dying of laughter.

"This your fault! You had to show me it now in the midst of my doings" she scolded him

"Well it wouldn't have happen if you wasn't trying ruin the man's food" he bit back

"Ugggh the male species!"

"Yeah we feel the same about y'all" he mugged her.

"Whattup whattup is we ready for food testing?" I pursed my lips . I don't think nobody wanna test his food.

"What you over here laughing about ?" August came and sat next to me.

"Becca and Dennis the best couple ever" could've barely keep myself together.

He started chuckling too.

"No I don't think it's time yet"
"What you done scared to lose?" Chris teased

"No nobody want nothing out the piss pot" I whispered more to myself but August caught that and raised his brow. Like he knew I knew something that he didn't .

"Alright let's do this"

"So Mya you judging cause you don't give no  biased opinions"
"What ?? Mya not bias?" August exclaimed.
"I'm not , but I can't have spicy stuff" I mugged August for believing that I'm biased.

"Okay alright we cant use Dennis Cuzz he tryna keep his relationship"

"So August you gotta be a judge" Chris said

"Heeeelll naaaww. That's not gone work Cuzz he hella biased" Becca started yelling , she looked at him "especially since I jacked up his car because he deserved it"

"Uhh bye . You still fam tho. I still love you gurl" he grinned at her .

She rolled her eyes. "Well I'm still not sure if I still like you"

"That's right Cuzz you luuuuuh me gurl"
"Whatever. Okay fine only because we don't have somebody else here" she crossed her arms.

"Alright Alright let's go . Mans is hungry" August went to sit on the bar chair by the counter.

So Chris went ahead and pull out some spaghetti out the pot and place it on the plate.
Then he went to the gravy and stirred it and then took some out . It was silent like everybody was bracing for impact.

"What the hell?!" The pregnancy test was in the pot spoon . Chris face was a mixture of shocked and confused .

"Daaaaaaaaaamn Chris"
He drop it back in like it was oh so hot "oh shit shit shit, I done knock somebody child up" he had his hands on his head like he was losing it.

Y'all know me I like to laugh I was dying.
"She pissed in your gravy get it"

"This can't be mine I don't chill with the people I sleep with in my house" he shook his head with his hands on his waist.
Becca was mad embarrassed.

"It's mines" She spoke up. It was silent before Chris and August were like "daaaaaamn"

What shook me is that she took off crying. I immediately get up with my pregnant ole self to go after her.

"Aye mama be careful up them stairs"
Dennis was already gone.

So when I reach the door he was callin out to her from the other side of the door but wasn't getting through.

"Hey it's okay I got this"
He sighed . He looked hurt . I really felt it in my soul that he was sad. Then he went along to join the boys.

"Babe let me in" i put my ear on the door to hear if she said something.

"I don't want you to see me right now I'm a mess"

"Well you've seen me in a mess plenty times, you've always been there for me let me be there for you mama open up" I pleaded with her. Finally she opened it . She indeed looked like a hot mess.
"Babe" I sighed and hugged her as she continued crying.

"I'm so embarrassed"

"Why because we all know that you might be pregnant?"

"It goes more than that I had sex before marriage . I'm so afraid to go before God even worse to go before you , you're my best friend and you're prolly expecting me to know better by now"

"How can you even say that ? I'm not perfect babe and neither are you . Jesus is . That's why he bore all our sin and shame and took it to the cross. No matter what we do God is in our corner . You don't have to work for his forgiveness either because his grace Issa gift . It's given freely. You're not in debt to him."

"I know it's hard to keep your hands to yourself when you live with the one you love it's okay it's natural. Controlling it is hard . So slipping up is a possibility. I don't ever want you feel so shameful that you can't come to me. I love you despite anything. You sin ? fine . I did too. It's still called sin . No sin is greater than the other."

"I'm not ready to have a baby" she started crying all over again .

"First of all we don't even know if it's true. It was one test and it could've been one of those cheap ones Cuzz you well know Dennis don't spend so much money on things" Dennis be the budget master .
After a while she settled down.
"Girl you right"

"I love you so much. Thank you for having my back and hearing me out" she smiled slightly.

"It's not a problem girl I got you"
"Now go holla at ya man Cuzz he hurtin too"
We both got up and went back outside with the boys.

First thing Becca did was hug him. I went to hug mines too. Happy we were on good terms finally.

Becca took Dennis outside to talk.
"So nobody going try my food?" Chris joked

"Nah it full of piss" August teased and I busted out laughing again. I swear I'm done with these people.
