1.) Don't worry! It was Hitoshi's HAND that got cut off, not his whole arm. Still concerning, but it wasn't his whole limb, just the appendage attached-
2.) To everyone commenting on how Aizawa lied to Mihoko about them being on a fifteen minute break and everything by being fine, CHECK YOURSELF

Wh-What's that?
A few hours
B E F O R E
Y'all chill ahhhH omg I got so many messages asking why Aizawa lied. That WHOLE segment happened while they were still training. No attack was happening as this happened. Aizawa was not lying, and it was right around the time Hitoshi managed to injure himself slightly. He wasn't missing his hand, nobody was stuck in a forest, and if you use context clues, you'll see that the sun is up during that whole part, while it's dark out when the attack is going on. Come on y'all-
Third person pov
When Hawks had begrudgingly asked for her help in combating whatever Villains would be attacking her little brother's summer camp, how could Fuyumi possibly say no? It sounded like an exciting experience. Maybe she could even make a scrapbook about it after she was all done and through. If she asked nicely, maybe one of the many Nomu lurking in the woods would even take her picture amongst the destruction for her! Then later, they could all go out and get drinks to celebrate! It would be great! Perhaps Fuyumi would even hook up with a hot guy that would turn out to be her future husband, and it would all be happy times!
Yeah, no. This shit wasn't sunshine and rainbows. Not even a little. She knew that going in. It being night really didn't help matters, considering they couldn't see shit. The police had laughed when they suggested that there could be an attack, and UA actually had the audacity to brush them off as over suspicious, or making shit up. Hawks, who was literally the Number Two Hero. Tsukauchi Naomasa, who hadn't been able to act until an 'official' call came in. It was all total and complete bullshit!
They got here a bit late. Not their fault, really. That didn't really matter now. The dominos would fall how they fell, they supposed. Fuyumi had been ready for just about anything coming in. Death, blood, fighting-- the whole shabang. She'd geared up and told him he was ready to go. And she was. She just really didn't know how she'd gotten into the situation she was in right now. She was here to fight the villains, not subdue the students.
Kurogiri hadn't been a part of the plan. Their information had come out faulty, and though it was said he wouldn't be participating but to transport people there and back, it was pretty clear he'd taken more of a part. Vlad's getting their early had alerted them that they knew, and Kurogiri had scattered the students randomly in a panic. Of course, this had also probably put a dent in their plans, so that was something. Not a big something, but a something nonetheless. On the other hand, now there were kids everywhere, and a shit ton of dangerous villains she really wished would just fuck off. Did they have nothing better to do? Banks to rob? Other hostages to hold?
You see, she'd been in position when Mezo Shoji and Fumikage Tokoyami were dropped essentially right in front of her. Trying to pop out would only scare them. They didn't know her, so she decided waiting until they gathered their bearing to establish contact was a better idea. Hawks, who was right there with her, had stubbornly agreed after a very heated whisper argument that ended with her threatening to freeze off his dick. So with that decided, they'd hunkered down and shut up as Shoji's limbs extended into ears. And then it happened.
Two gigantic Nomu had crashed out of, uh, fucking nowhere. One punched Shoji hard in the side and sent him flying through some bushes with a cry of pain that started Tokoyami's dark shadow into popping out and into growing into the size of several small skyscrapers combined into one. The process had gone jaw-droppingly fast. One moment things were fine! Dandy, even! And then all the proverbial shit hit every damn proverbial fan on the face of the planet, and here they where. Flying through the sky, with Hawks holding Fuyumi under her armpits like she was a wet kitten.
"Drop me." Fuyumi adjusted her goggles. Tokoyami was stuck inside Dark Shadow, which had essentially become a huge, destructive black mass that absolutely decimated anything in its path. The two Nomu that had popped up from god knows where? K.O.ed. Totally done and out. One had sneezed, and it was all over for the two of them. Shoji was quietly crouched behind some bushes nearby, staying quiet and trying to figure out how to calm Tokoyami down. Light was what they really needed, but all they had with ice. They'd have to make do.
"Do you really think this is a good idea?" Hawks asked unsurely, wings flapping. They were high enough that Dark Shadow wouldn't hear them if they talked quietly, but low enough to keep a good eye on things.
"Not in the slightest." Fuyumi said with so much certainty it made the winged man deadpan.
"Good. I'd be concerned if you did." Hawks sighed. This woman would kill him one of these days. Truly, she would. She was more trouble than she was worth. "Have fun!"
He let her go without any further warning. Fuyumi faltered only for a moment, cursing what an ass the Number Two Hero was before outstretching her hands. Her body began to spin straight down, a cold fog spiraling around her rather impressively. Her eyes narrowed behind her goggles, her hair whipping at her face and neck. Her lips were pressed firmly together, as she didn't fancy getting a mouthful of bugs on her way down. Dark Shadow didn't even notice her coming down right as his head. At least, not until a metric shit ton of frost shot out of her hands and began to heavily coat his head and body.
The inky beast let out a roar. Fuyumi let out one right back. She could almost see Hawks face palm from his place circling above her.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
It was dark by the time Mihoko, Inko, and Rei all reached the camp. The feeling that something was off only solidified as they drove the grueling five hours to get there, getting stuck in just about every sort of traffic snag you could ever even begin to think of. Getting here had been grueling, and their fear and suspicion only increased. At one point they sped through a McDonalds line on the way, stress ate the abundance of unnecessary food they'd ordered, and then proceeded to step on it. Though there were some instances in which they could not speed for fear of getting pulled over and thus delayed further, most of the drive there was spent either at a stand still due to a wreck up ahead, or with Mihoko's foot pressing down the pedal as far as it would go.
"Is that smoke?" Inko asked in a quiet voice, her hands knitted together tightly. Her heart was beating wildly in her chest. Izuku was a reckless boy. And by reckless, she meant he apparently didn't understand what the fuck his bones were, or how utterly crucial they were to his survival. The boy broke them like they were toothpicks! Inko looked away for a second, and his entire arm was discolored. Even worse, he'd somehow inherited her incredibly high pain tolerance. He'd just wince and give a sheepish smile if he harmed himself. It drove her absolutely nuts! She'd gone through the weird bone-snapping phase too, but it hadn't lasted nearly this long! He'd be the death of her!
Rei was also reasonably concerned. Memories of her eldest son flitted through her mind as blue embers wafted up into the sky, a turquoise glow illuminating the trees. Touya had been a sweet boy. The gentlest of her children by far, even with Fuyumi. He'd been so kind and loving. She'd been told years ago that he'd passed on, but had never really believed it. How could she? She'd seen him just the day before, smiling, looking like his father, but looking so different at the same time. He always tried to be happy around her, knowing how much his iris color and hair bothered her. Then suddenly, just like that, he was gone. Endeavor had insisted he'd died, and her children were distraught. It's what had triggered her mental break in the end, ultimately getting her put in a mental ward.
She hoped this wasn't him. Bile rose in her throat at the mere thought of her dear Touya being a villain. He would never harm his siblings. When Shoto was born, she had never seen such awe on his face. He loved Natsuo and Fuyumi, but there was something about the age gap between him and Shoto that made him so much more protective. To think he could be a villain now-- that he'd been driven that far-- made her want to cry. If it was true, then this was just another way she'd failed her children. Another way she'd failed Shoto, and Natsuo, and Fuyumi, and Touya. All of them...
"That's not natural, that's for sure." Mihoko was level-headed and calm. Being an empath, she was used to an influx of emotion from everyone. It had taken her years to get herself under control. Now, she was incredibly good at staying cool in a crisis. She knew how to differentiate between her own feelings and everyone else's. Essentially, she'd conditioned herself into badassery without help. Her friends' fear did nothing to deter her as she tore down the asphalt road that twisted around a hulking mountain. Were the situation different, maybe they could've focused more on how beautiful the scenery was. But not today. They were mothers and a fucking mission, and they'd all be damned if they let a little apprehension stop them from getting to their children.
A sour feeling had pervaded the entire car. And not because of the McDonalds they'd eaten, or that weird gas station they'd stopped at so they could pee and fill up the van. It was something else. Something was wrong. Their children were in danger, and possibly hurt. She could just feel it. Rei and Inko could too, growing more and more uneasy as time passed. She could feel it grow within them, their fear for all of the students there, as well as all the teachers and heroes. The realization that Chad was probably there, along with Hawks, settled in almost the moment they saw the smoke. At least that was something.
"You're right. Something's wrong, here." Rei agreed, trying to keep her voice strong. It shook anyway, but she knew her two friends didn't care. Unlike the relationships she'd made while married to Endeavor, these two actually cared about her. The friends she had now were the best she'd ever had, and they were here for her. "It has to be some sort of attack. I'm sure the police are on the way now. Probably not far behind us, I'd hope."
"We should still continue forward. I know my quirk isn't all that useful, but maybe we can still help." Inko's tone was firm, her emerald eye a cold steel neither had seen before. They'd seen her scared for her son before, but she looked dangerous. Like a weed wacker duct taped to a chain saw, attached to a rogue lawn mower. The fear she'd felt a moment ago was gone, Mihoko could sense. Something steadier had taken its place. Something old. It only caused her to drive faster. They were ready to do what was needed.
"I know first aid." Rei straightened herself. She had to be put together. For her son, for his friends, and for the two women in the car with her. And most of all, for herself. Panicking wasn't an option. This was clearly an attack, which would explain why the two calls Inko had made to the camp not all too long ago hadn't gone through. She could only hope they wouldn't be in the way. And if they were, she hoped it was because they were shielding someone from an attack.
"I do too." Mihoko kept a tight grip on the steering wheel as they grew closer and closer to the camp. "Hajime's a surgeon. I helped him study while he was still in school. There's a lot I don't know, but..."
"You still learned quite a bit." Inko finished, and Mihoko nodded. Rei felt a bit embarrassed knowing she only knew first aid due to the fact that she had to patch up not only herself, but her children, but it was something. It was a skill she had. Did it really matter where it came from right now? She could get therapy later. Group therapy, even! She had a feeling they were all going to be traumatized by whatever was going on tonight.
"Wait, what's that?" Rei leaned forward all of a sudden as their headlights fell upon a small group of people. They all turned to look at the approaching car with wide eyes. There was Lillian and Bakugo, hands conjoined. A boy was on Bakugo's back, but they were too far to see who. A small squad made up of what seemed to be several copies of one person stood there, stunned by the minivan's sudden appearance. All of them held identical weapons, wearing the same outfit and standing in the same stance. Definitely not a hero, and definitely not someone with good intentions. All three women seemed to darken, Mihoko floored it.
"I hope you ladies have your seat belts on!" Mihoko hollered as they accelerated. Despite themselves, both Inko and Rei started to scream.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Lillian and Bakugo were just moseying along. Making great time, if you asked either of them. Kosei was still out cold, but at least he was fairly weightless and not all that hard to keep frozen. Lillian's stomach was, however, still a bit twisted up from stopping whoever that cannibalistic, straight-jacket-wearing man was. This meant she was forced to clear her throat every three seconds due to the sting, blink a shit ton because her eyes were dry, and experience a pain akin to high-tier period cramps. It could've been worse, she would admit. Holding Bakugo's hand was a great distraction. She'd go between trying to regulate her breathing and tightening her fingers, which were laced with his. He'd always squeeze back. It was reassuring, especially with how eerily quiet it was.
The silence rung heavy for quite sometime. Neither were too sure where they were, but Lillian had a sneaking suspicion they were somewhere near the access road that would take them either to camp or off the Pussy Cat's property entirely. Neither were too sure what to do. Kosei was hurt, but they ran the risk of returning to an area that had been either abandoned or taken over by villains if they went back. That being said, the camp's exits could easily be blocked off by enemies they didn't have the power to take on by themselves. Yes, they were heroes in training, but even Bakugo accepted that they were far from pros. The idea of getting caught up with someone powerful terrified the both of them, even if they didn't voice it. They had one another to look out for, along with their injured classmate. Lillian wasn't confident she could protect Bakugo, and as sure Bakugo wished he was that he could prevent Lillian from getting hurt, there was a rational vat of doubt bubbling in the pit of his stomach.
"I think we're almost there." Lillian breathed, eyes darting about. The light had severely faded as clouds moved to cover the moon, leaving them to aimlessly wander about in the dark and hope to god they didn't run into whatever villain had started the fires. They were hot enough to make the air out here stuffy, and they weren't even close enough to see the flames right now. Sure, they weren't terribly far, but they weren't in sight either. It was still pretty dark as they navigated through the dense trees while remaining hand-in-hand.
"We better fucking be." Bakugo muttered grumpily. He felt a lot better, holding her hand. He felt like letting her go would cause something to happen to her. He didn't want her getting hurt on his watch, or ever if it could be helped. He was pretty much an atheist. With all the shit they'd been through lately, there was no fucking way god was real, and if he was, he was probably laughing his ass off. But even so, he couldn't help but thank every damn higher power he could think of that he'd managed to dive after her in time. This was a dangerous situation, but so far, things had worked out alright and in their favor. Not perfectly, but neither were harmed.
"Do you think everyone's alright?" The gunshots she'd heard earlier, the ones that she was sure weren't Chad's, still stung at her ears. Lillian really hoped nobody she knew got shot. And if she did know them... well, she'd be out for blood. Who the fuck thought it was okay to shoot her friends and peers? Why the fuck were people out here in the woods, trying to fuck people up? It was ridiculous, and she felt annoyed, tired, and was wondering why this was even an issue! It was all just so... so stupid! If the villains wanted to send some sort of message, there a thousand different ways to do so that didn't involve taking down a bunch of literal teenagers in the middle of fucking nowhere.
"I'm not sure. Who knows what the fuck type of villains are scattered out here." Bakugo answered gruffly, his eyes also scanning the surrounding area in search of any possibly enemies. Things were almost too quiet, but they could both see the break in the trees up ahead where the road would hopefully be. If it was the road, then they'd finally know exactly where they were, and could decide where to go from there. "Those shitty extras all got into the hero course for a damn reason, though. Most probably got sent off in pairs like us. They may not be nearly as powerful as I am, but I'm sure the shits aren't totally useless."
The last part was grumbled, a pink tinge brought on by embarrassment painting his cheeks. Lillian felt herself smile slightly at his reassurance to her. He was right. Aside from those who got in via recommendations, they'd all entered UA the same way. The exams. Shoto and Momo both were extremely powerful themselves. While they hadn't had to fight robots to be placed in the Hero Course, they'd more than proved themselves during their time as students. Shoto easily challenged Bakugo's own power, and Momo was insanely smart, with the easy ability to create several useful items that would surely throw the villains off. Firearms were even in her arsenal, from what she'd said.
Before Lillian could respond, they both stepped beyond the tree line and onto a narrow dirt road they both managed to vaguely recognize. Excitement immediately swelled in Lillian's chest, but the exuberance was short lived when the pair both realized with a jolt that they weren't alone. Bakugo's snarky grin dropped into more of a snarl, and Lillian's grip on the champagne blonde's hand tightened as the man spun around the face them. He definitely wasn't a teacher or student, nor did he look like any hero they recognized. He was a villain. Evidently, the one in charge of guarding one of the only roads out. That meant he had to be more than just talk.
Lillian wanted this to be over. It was one thing after the other, and it was dizzying to try and keep track of it all. One moment they were eating dinner and having a good time, and the next Vlad is here reporting that villains are on the way. Lillian could only hope Chad was out there somewhere helping everyone else and aiding in the fight. There was a high chance Hawks was here too, and that other reinforcements had been joined. That begged the question though. Who was watching Eri? If she was here, the freckled teen would readily kill whoever dared bring her along.
"Wow, wow, look! Both of the students we're after, in one place!" The man exclaimed happily, before he voice dropped into a lower tone. The sudden shift gave the already-tired Lillian somewhat of a mental whiplash. "Don't move if you value your life, kids."
He was odd looking, with a full-body costume that was tight fitting but seemed durable enough to withstand a lot of the usual bullshit quirks and average weapons brought. It was mostly black, with the top part of the head white, and some other white accents here and there. Lillian felt herself begin to sweat. This man wasn't unhinged in the way the other had been, but something was definitely off. Bakugo's free palm began to spark as a muddy substance started melting off the man, the closer he got. He was awkwardly hunched over to stop Kosei from slipping off his back.
"Fuck off, or you'll fucking regret it!" Bakugo's threat was loud. Lillian readied herself to freeze him if need be. A horrifyingly cold feeling dawned upon her when the mud began to form into clones, her eyes darting about in search of any others he could've made previously. Clones were a dangerous weakness of hers. She could only freeze what was in her line of sight. This man seemed to know this, because some of the mud had already formed further out and into an exact copy of himself. She could almost just see it out of the corner of her eye, but not quite. The doubles, triples, quadruples-- they were all forming faster and faster as they formed some sort of semi-circle around them, getting close enough that Lillian couldn't quite get a good view of all of them.
Bakugo was understandably pissed. See, if this weren't an attack, this could be a dream! He and Lillian, holding hands, alone in the woods. Only this wasn't some sappy, teenage love novel. They had concussion boy to take care of, villains were apparently targeting them in particular, and now they were facing a clone fucker. Ectoplasm hadn't been too hard to beat in the exam. But he was also a teacher, weighted down by Mei Hatsume's wrist and ankle inventions. This man was probably far, far more intent than he'd been. This situation was more dire. There were several weaknesses they had right now. The biggest one was sitting on Bakugo's back right now.
Lillian held her breath. She had to use her quirk sparingly. If her fight with Ectoplasm was anything to go off of, the clones would be weaker and thus not as hard to freeze, though every quirk was different. However, there was no telling how many this man could make or how durable they were in comparison to her teacher's. She and Bakugo took a small step back, trying to assess the situation further as the man advanced. He had was also armed, though he seemed... not serious, almost. He was twitchy as all the copies of him stood there, weapons drawn and simply staring and humming. Lillian could tell Bakugo wanted them to make the first move, and that his mind was racing trying to figure out how to do this without getting any of them hurt. Hers was too.
Light suddenly flooded over them, drawing all their gazes towards the source. Lillian was momentarily blinded by the sudden brightness, blinking and squinting against it. The dread that had begun to crawl up her spine halted when she realized just what she was looking at, her lips parting slightly in surprise and her eyes going wide. It took Bakugo a second longer to figure out what he was looking at as well, but his expression morphed into a more flabbergasted one the moment he realized what he was seeing. That was, without a doubt, Mihoko Shinso's mini-van. And it was most definitely speeding towards them.
"What the fu-" All the clones of the villain blinked in near perfect sync, but it was too late. The faint sound of screaming emitted from the van as it narrowly shot past them, ramming into the several clones and sending the brown, muddle substance they were made from flying. Lillian and Bakugo were paralyzed as their hair was ruffled by the wind it had created, backs straight as rods and hands still conjoined as they were doused in the substance. The original villain let out a shrill shriek as they flew through the air, the van spinning wildly as its tires searched desperately for traction the gravely back road. The two teenagers could only let their shoulders go slack as they openly gaped at what was happening.
"Holy... Holy shit." Bakugo whispered, looking a bit pale. Lillian was no better, nodding slowly. She processed a lot quicker than he did. She'd seen all sorts of shit before, and this didn't top the charts. It had been a bit of a shock for Mihoko to show up in the midst of a villain attack. Or it had been at first. The more she thought about it, the more it made sense. And the more sure she was that Inko Midoriya and Rei Todoroki were both in that vehicle with her. The latter at the most, but Izuku's mother was probably here too. "Was that the Turnip Bastard's mom?"
"Y-Yeah." Lillian smiled. For the first time since they'd been dropped in these accursed woods, she felt the weight on her chest lift slightly. "It was."
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
So Hitoshi's situation? Definitely like, not ideal. Chad was sort of freaking out. You see, shit had gotten fucked. The plan? Hah. The fucking plan was the literal definition of a bust. Chad had been heading towards where he'd meet up with Dabi so they could fuck up shit and bash the police when they realized they'd been telling the truth about the villain attack. Only there was a new Villain they'd gotten at the last second he hadn't known about! One that was not only a kid, but released toxic gas. Yeah. His area was covered in the shit before he even had the chance to turn around and dart away, leaving him out of commission as he tried to cover his face with his shirt.
Chad was just a man. A damn strong one, but still just a man. He'd passed out not too long after the heavy gas thickened around him and filled his lungs to the brim. His last thought was that he was supposed to be fighting some cannibal fucker, not some gas-happy squirt with some sort of death wish. Then, he was totally just... out. Dead to the world, passed out, useless. Chad hated being useless. Without a quirk, he was fairly vulnerable as it was. Until he met Lillian, he'd always felt like less. But now he was doing things that mattered. And failing at them, apparently. It was a work in process.
Time had passed the same way it did when you were asleep, but didn't rest very well. You closed your eyes, and suddenly they were open again. It was a startling experience to say the least. To know that you fucked up, and to suddenly be gasping and coughing for air as you jolted up into a sitting position. Two kids he recognized from the Sports Festival were a ways away from him, a pile of what he could hazily identify as his weapons sitting between them. They both had on gas masks, and it took him only a brief moment to realize he had one on his face as well. They'd found him and put it on him, helping to filter the air, and thus, wake him up. It was actually a bit of a miracle.
"Why'd he wake up, but not our other classmates?" The boy with metal skin asked in a gruff voice, though his tone almost made it sound like a whine. The ginger watched Chad with narrowed eyes as he took in deep breaths. He was nauseous, his head spinning and pounding heavily. His heartbeat was also erratic to a reasonably concerning extent. His hand instinctively came up to grasp had his head, and a groan escaped him. His vision was spotted with black. He couldn't fight effectively like this. He couldn't aim. The worst case scenario had literally just happened, and now he was stuck with a pair of kids who probably thought he was some sort of villain.
"I don't know, Tetsutetsu. That's not important right now." Kendo tried to stop the tremors in her voice, doing her best to remain strong as her hands enlarged themselves slightly. Chad held his other hand up almost as though surrendering, trying to gather his scattered thoughts. He was in the woods. Everyone was under attack. They needed to get back to camp, and they needed to get back, now. It felt dumb now, to ever have been jealous of 1-A. They weren't taking opportunities to gain fame and get their names out there. They'd been attacked, with no warning, and had been terrified the whole time. Both of them could see that now.
"We've been authorized for combat! I don't see why we shouldn't just knock him back out." The metal teenager complained. His companion shot him a look.
"We don't know if he's a villain or not. Why would they knock out one of their own? He looks like just some guy to me!" Kendo argued.
"Then why the fuck did he have twenty-two knives?!" Tetsutetsu argued back. Valid, but Chad had actually brought thirty knives, so they were quite off the mark there. He shook his head slightly, willing his mouth to open so he could tell them he wasn't a threat. His throat was incredibly dry. The mere thought of forcing out anything above a whisper made him want to wince. Shit. Fucking shit. This wasn't good. If this gas was flammable and wafted too close to Dabi's flames, they were done for. Everything had gone to hell, and it had done so quite quickly.
A sharp pain pierced through the fog in his mind, earning a cry of pain from him as a voice rang clearly in his head. Tetsutetsu and Kendo also paused, implying they were hearing it too. "Listen, we've discovered two of the Villains' targets! They're the students named Lillian and Kacchan." It had to be Mandalay. This was, after all, her quirk. Chad was desperately wishing he'd thought to bring some Advil."Lillian, Kacchan, you should try to avoid combat. And stick to a group. I hope you can hear me!"
Chad's eyes went wide, and he scrambled to get on his feet. "No." He wheezed. That wasn't right. They were after them?! He knew Shigaraki carried around a photo of Izuku, but he'd had no idea they were after Lillian and Bakugo in particular. Shit fuck. This was bad. This was really, really bad. Kendo and Tetsutetsu were looking at him like he was about to kill them as he stumbled in place, trying desperately to keep balance as his body worked overtime to recovery. Survival instinct kicked in, and adrenaline flooded him.
"Are you a villain?" Kendo's hand grew a bit bigger. "Answer, or I'll nail you in the face."
"N-Not. I'm not." Chad felt his eyes sting. Fuck, what the hell was this stuff? He didn't recognize it. It wasn't tear gas. Some sort of sleeping agent? It reminded him of Mustard gas, but not the right color, or nearly as severe. It seemed to aim more towards knocking one out rather than harming them. "Dammit-- I know Katsuki Bakugo and Lillian. Bakugo interned with me and... and shit... god, what the fuck is this shit?"
"So you're a hero then?" Tetsutetsu looked relieved, and Kendo dropped her guard just slightly. Chad opened his mouth to answer. He technically was a hero. He had his license. Of course, Tsukauchi was actively trying to suspend it and arrest him, but they were on civil terms. In Mihoko's house, he wasn't allowed to do anything. He'd get hit over the head with the woman's metal bat otherwise. No fighting in her home. The place got trashed enough as it was. Now really wasn't the time to be worrying about that, however. He had to get to Lillian and Bakugo before-
"Well, well, well." A voice cooed, and the fog suddenly got thicker. So thick, Chad could barely see the two members of Class 1-B in front of him. They both whirled around and away from Chad as a figure stepped forward. They were short and in a middle school uniform. Probably a kid, from the sound of their voice and the look of their stature. They had on a gas mask, which told Chad the substance in the air effected them too, even if it was probably his quirk. If they got it off his face, he'd be forced to stop unless he wanted to knock himself out.
"Who're you?!" Kendo rose her hand to strike him, and it all happened in a blur. The boy reached into the front of his uniform, pulled out a revolver, aimed, and he pulled the trigger.
Everything happened pretty fast after that. Chad dragged Kendo back by the neck of her shirt as Tetsutetsu took the bullet. It pinged against his hardened body, so the teen fired more and more. The gas masks would only be able to filter so much of the gas before giving out. It was a shitty situation. Chad geared up, but his aim was so off that he risked killing the enemy if he fired. That wouldn't normally be an issue, but it was pretty clear they were a kid. A kid that had strayed pretty far off the right path, but a kid nonetheless. Chad didn't know how he felt about shooting someone so young, so he just... didn't.
They paid for it in the end. Tetsutetsu's mask was shot off, and it didn't take long for him to collapse like a house of cards. Chad ended up taking a bullet for Kendo, hence why he was bleeding now. The villain had been distracted enough by the very, very large knife Chad pulled out of literally nowhere. It was enough that Kendo got the chance to punch him hard in the face. It sent him flying back, and his mask snapped in two. The gas had dissipated almost immediately, but Chad knew they had to keep moving. So after pulling an automatic rifle from his confiscated pile of weapons, he hoisted Tetsutetsu up off the ground and they took off running. Didn't even check to make sure they'd knocked the kid unconscious.
Now here he was, fretting over just about everyone and everything. The villains here weren't in the positions they'd been set to be in, and everything was just going wrong. He cursed the legal system up and down. He regretted not telling Aizawa, Lillian, and the rest of the meme squad. Barring Neito, who didn't need that kind of stress in his life. That wasn't really the point at this given time. They'd warned people, and they hadn't listened. And they hadn't informed 1-A's teacher or any of its students, all because there was a chance they wouldn't attack the summer camp. That had been foolish, and Chad was pissed to high heaven at himself for his shit judgement call.
"I'll be o-o-okay." Hitoshi stuttered as they ran back up towards camp. His voice was distant and airy, but he was trying his best to stay awake. "I-I'll be fi-fine."
"Damn right you will be." Chad grit his teeth through the pain of his gunshot wound.
"Metal fork." Vlad agreed. Aizawa remained dead silent. They all noticed his tears, but nobody mentioned them. Doing so would shine a light on how dire this was. On how hopeless it was. It was too likely that students would be killed today. It was too likely that they'd lose someone, and they'd be the only ones left to blame.
Sorry for the super late update! I've been super busy. It's been insane, ngl-
Art!
Sincere_Despair drew this adorable Lillian. Thank you so much for this! It's super cute, and I love the look on her face. She looks so confused and it's adorable. Thanks for putting the time and effort into making such a stunning digital piece. It means a lot!
Some of you guys may have already seen this piece in Mind Boggled! This is all my main BNHA OCs, including Chad who's book is on the way and will be released hopefully very soon! BannaYello did this awesome piece of art, and I love it so much. Thank you again for it!
This one was ALSO in Mind Boggled! It's Lillian and Bakugo with Harper and Kirishima! This is by the amazing CharTime. Seriously, she does so, so much incredibly artwork for my stories, and I can never thank her enough for the intense time and effort put into the pieces she does. Thank you so much for this, again!
-WhatsHerName drew this incredible Lillian. Some of you may be wondering why she looks so insane! If you read the Freeze Frame One-Shot book, there is a one-shot in which our shy, cutesy Lillian switches bodies with a Chaotic Lillian from another dimension. Essentially, shy Lillian wakes up in another body and in another dimension, while Chaotic Lillian ends up in the shy one's body. Kind of confusing, but this art is super awesome and hella accurate! Thank you so much for this! It's amazing!!!
AreinYuni drew this adorable Lillian! I adore her slippers and the look on her tiny face. Your style is one I really adore and think is just super adorable in general. Thank you so much for the art! It's absolutely stunning, and I love it to pieces.
Sun_Weaver drew this adorable Lillian to celebrate the Million reads! Thank you so much for it! It's super cute, and the nervous expression is totally in character for her. Seriously, I can't thank you enough! I love your art style and way of shading, and adore all the freckles you splattered on her face.
SillySillyBunBun drew this adorable Lillian. You guys seriously need to go check out her artwork, because she has such a unique style, and you can just see it develop more and more each chapter as she rapidly grows and improves! Thank you so much for this! It's super amazing and cute, so thank you!
