"I'm sorry child, but it's true, the tomcats and I are to blame for this atrocity." Carla said as Miko and Happy's eyes widened once more.

Now

Lighting cracked through the sky as Miko and Happy looked down, Wendy and Akira's eyes were filled with sadness as they looked upon their friends.

"Edolas?" Natsu asked.

"That's correct. The world that exist independently from the one we know and unfortunately a world that's begun losing it's magic." Carla explained.

"They're running out of magic there?" Wendy asked.

"What do you mean by that?" Akira asked.

"How is that possible?" Happy asked as Miko kept quiet.

"Unlike here, in Edolas, magic is a finite resource without limits on its use it will one day disappear forever." Carla said.

Everyone looked down as Carla spoke.

"In an attempt to restore the rapidly diminishing magic power reserves. King Edolas developed a spell that would absorb it from another world. Our world. It is a very powerful spell, indeed. He called it Anima, that is what opened the hole in the sky." Carla explained.

"So, that's it." Wendy said as memories of Jellal ran through her mind.

"Six years ago they began setting up Anima vortices all along the barrier between our worlds. But the experiment did not go as they planned. It seems someone has made it their goal to close them, one by one. But this Anima was simply too large, no one was strong enough to close and thus the guild and everything surrounding it was absorbed."

"Why would they go after Fairy Tail like that? " Natsu asked.

"I told you. To provide more magic power to those in Edolas."

"So they choose Fairy Tail because it has a lot of top class wizards, because there is more power to take." Wendy said.

"That's correct."

"I can't believe it, that's a seriously selfish move. You better give us back all our friends right now!" Natsu yelled up at the sky as he held his fist up as Akira and Miko sweat dropped. Akira's feature sadden as she looked at Miko, who was held in her grip, he looked down with a sad expression, Akira looked up at the sky and back down at Miko, before hugging him closer to her chest.

"Carla. This happened because of you, me and Miko. It's our fault?" happy asked as Miko looked up.

"Indirectly, yes."

"What do you mean indirectly?" Miko asked.

"The king entrusted us to complete another mission entirely. Something that was totally independent from the one involving Anima in magic absorption." Carla said.

"But that doesn't make sense. How can that be true when you were born in this world, hatched out of an egg!" Wendy said.

"Happy was too-it was me that found him!"

"I also found Miko in an egg! How is it possible that you three are from another world entirely!"

"Indeed we were. To be perfectly honest I myself have never personally set foot in Edolas. I was born in this world and I've spent my entire life here, it's exactly as Wendy said, but we were imprinted with this knowledge. The details of our mission and of Edolas are part of what makes up our very being. Miko, Happy and I were born to carry out this mission for our kingdom! So why? Why don't you two know the first thing about it!" Carla yelled as she pointed at Miko and Happy, who stood side by side. Happy looked down while Miko had an irk mark on his head as he fumed.

"I don't know." Happy said.

"Who cares about the stupid mission! I was born for one purpose! And that was to protect Akira! I don't care if I can't remember a mission that was given to me, from a place I don't even know!" Miko yelled as Akira looked at her friend. Natsu and Wendy glanced at her.

"Miko." Akira whispered as she clutched her fist to her chest.

Carla said nothing for a moment as she looked back.

"Anyway, that's what I meant by indirectly. The Anima that did this originated from our homeland, so that's why we're partially to blame."

"And, what is the mission that you're on Carla?" Akira whispered.

"I can't tell you, I'm sorry."

"Please tell us. I want to know more about where I came from and why I'm here." happy begged as Miko looked up and nodded his head.

"I said I can't tell you, and that's final! You two know it, but you just don't remember!" Carla snapped as Happy's ears dropped and Miko scoffed as he looked away.

Natsu took a deep breath before he pounded his fist into his hand, causing the 5 of them to face him.

"Okay guys, listen, now that the cats been let out of the bag, we should head out. We gotta get to Edolas." Natsu said as he smirked.

"Have you lost your mind! Do you have any idea what's going on here?" Carla said.

"You mean it." Wendy asked.

Happy's stomach growled, which caused Akira and Wendy to chuckle.

"I'm scared and being scared always makes me hungry." Happy said as Natsu laughed and smiled.

"It's good to have a healthy appetite." Natsu said as Wendy looked over at Carla, and Akira looked over at Miko, who was sad, his ears drooped as he looked at the ground beneath him.

"If all of out friends are up in Edolas, then we got no choice but to go and help them out." Natsu said as he looked up.

"Are they really there?" Akira asked.

"I would assume so, but even if we find them, I'm not entirely sure we can save them. And what's more if we can in fact reach Edolas, I can't guarantee that we will be able to return here." Carla said as Natsu let out a chuckle and smiled.

"Well if none of our buddies are in this world what would be the point of coming back here anyway, except for looking for Igneel maybe."

"I feel the same." Wendy said.

"Me too." Akira said as Happy's stomach growled again.

"We really should try to save all of them. They'd do it for us." Happy said as Carla sighed.

"I may have only recently stumbled into being a member of Fairy Tail but I am indeed a part of the guild and like I said, I'm indirectly responsible for what happened today so I'm not completely against taking you there, but, if I am to do this I will need to lay down a few very firm ground rules. By returning to Edolas, I will be abandoning my mission, one handed down by the kingdom itself, a traitor. I cannot be risk being spotted by anyone who would know my identity, we will all need to be in disguise." Carla explained.

"Even me?" Natsu asked.

"You sure you want to do this Carla?" Wendy asked.

"I am, I've made up my mind listen tomcats. Another rule is you two are absolutely not to pry into the details of our mission." Carla said as she pointed at the two. Happy's stomach growled as Miko scowled.

"Aye."

"Wasn't gonna pry anyways." Miko grumbled.

"Thirdly, aside from the information I was given at birth, I know nothing about the layout of Edolas. I cannot be the navigator."

"Got it." Natsu saluted.

"And most importantly should I or the tomcats do anything that would constitute a betrayal towards you....kill us without any hesitation." Carla said as Happy and Miko's eyes widened. Natsu and Wendy looked at their friends in fear. Akira looked at Miko as she gripped her fist and looked down. Happy's stomach growled once more.

"That's crazy. " Happy said as his stomach growled again.

"I would never do anything to-" But Happy was interrupted by Carla.

"Stop that disgusting bodily noise!"

Natsu, Akira and Wendy all looked at one another before nodding their heads. A magic circle appeared behind Carla's back as he wings appeared.

"Let's go."

"Tomcats, hold onto Natsu and Akira."

"We're gonna fly there?" Wendy asked.

"We have wings for that reason, so we could one day return to our homeland in Edolas."

"Alright then little buddy. you're gonna show me where you came from." Natsu smiled as he gave Happy a thumbs up.

"Aye sir!"

"Let's go Kira." Miko said as a light green magic circle appeared behind him and his wings appeared.

"Okay, Miko." Akira whispered as Miko grabbed onto her.

All three dragon slayers where flying through the air, with their friends hanging onto them as they got higher.

"Tomcats, don't hold back your magic power."

"Aye!"

"Got it!"

Akira, Wendy and Natsu started to scream as they got higher and went faster.

"Look and enter Edolas in what remains of the Anima. When I give the signal, give it everything you've got."

Natsu gritted his teeth as they got higher while Akira clutched her eyes shut. And Wendy let out a scream as lighting surrounded them.

"Now!"

Miko, Happy and Carla let off a burst of magical energy as the hole opened and a burst of energy shot out as they shielded their eyes. Their eyes widened as the light got brighter. Until they couldn't see anything.

"Are we there yet?" Natsu asked as they all opened their eyes and were in shock once they saw all of the floating islands.

"Wow!" Wendy said as Natsu laughed.

"Pretty." Akira noted as they flew.

Waterfalls ran off the side of the islands as they looked around in awe.

"We're actually here." Carla said.

"My homeland." Happy said.

"Not bad." Miko smirked.

"Look at all these floating islands." Wendy said.

"You come from a pretty cool place, Happy, don't you think?" Natsu asked.

"I don't really know what to think." Happy said.

"It's incredible, Miko."

"Yeah. I guess it is."

"Strange and wondrous." Carla said.

"I've never even seen trees like these." Akira said.

"Oh wow! Check it out, Happy! You see, there's a river in the sky, can you believe it!" Natsu said as they saw a river in the sky.

"Okay everyone. Get a grip on yourself, remember we're not here on a sightseeing trip, so be sure to keep your wits about." Carla said as Wendy laughed.

"I know, you're right." Wendy said.

"Sorry, sorry." Natsu said.

"Got ya." Akira smirked.

But all of the sudden Happy, Carla and Miko's wings disappeared. And the dragon slayer's eyes widened in surprise. They screamed as they fell from the sky, hitting weird shaped trees before landing on the floor. Akira landed on top of Wendy, while Natsu landed head first into the mushroom of sorts.

"My wings don't work." Happy said.

"Everything hurts." Akira groaned as she rolled off of a groaning Wendy.

"How come you can't fly anymore?" Wendy asked.

"I told you, magic is a limited resource in this world." Carla said from her stuck position in the mushroom, Miko was next to her, also stuck, mumbling to himself.

"Oh yeah, Carla, you're right, and I guess I feel it a little strange." Wendy said

"Me too." Akira added as Natsu finally popped out of the mushroom taking heavy breaths.

"Let's go!" Natsu said as he held his fist up.

"We gotta find where they took all our friends!"

They all started their journey and walked through the weird forest.

"How do we find the, if no on knows their way around?" Happy asked.

"Piece of cake. Just follow my nose." Natsu said sniffed around before making a face.

"Now this is crappy. There are so many crazy new smells here my nose is confused." Natsu said as Wendy tasted the air, her eyes widened.

"Yeah, it's weird. The air in this place is like nothing I've ever tasted before."

"Oh, does that mean the fire will taste different?"

"How should I know?" Carla asked as everyone turned to Akira.

"Hey, Akira. You're an earth dragon slayer, right?" Wendy asked.

"Yeah, why?"

"So, does the ground here taste different?" Miko asked.

"Huh? I don't know. Let me try." Akira said as she bent down and dug her hand into the ground, she pulled out a chunk of dirt.

"You eat dirt?" Natsu asked.

"She's an earth dragon slayer you idiot." Miko deadpanned.

"Hey!"

Akira sighed as she shoved the dirt into her mouth before her eyes widened. She spit it out and coughed.

"What's wrong!?" Miko asked as he flew to her side.

"It taste so different, it leaves this weird taste in your mouth and I don't like it." Akira whined as anime tears ran down her face, while Miko rubbed her shoulder and the others sweat dropped and let out nervous laughs.

"All this talk about tasting makes me even hungrier." Happy said.

"I don't know what we could eat here. We're in a strange world and all you can think about is food?" Carla said.

"So where are we going anyways?" Wendy asked.

"Beats me. We gotta walk somewhere, right? So why not this way." Natsu said.

"I was afraid you were gonna say something like that." Happy said.

"Surprising as it is the fire breather is right." Carla said as they continued to walk. Natsu's stomach growled once more.

"Stop that!" Carla said.

"My bad." Natsu said.

"There's no one here. We haven't run into a single person." Akira said

"Is this some kind of forest world?" Miko asked.

"Surely not. We'll still need disguises." Carla said.

"From where? There's nothing." Wendy said as Natsu stopped.

"Hey." Natsu said.

"Uh, Natsu. I'm not so sure if this." Happy said as Natsu stood with pride as a huge leave covered his body. Wendy and Akira let out nervous laughs as they wore flowers. Carla and Miko said nothing as a flower covered them. And Happy sweat dropped as a bush covered him.

"I don't know what exactly we're being disguised as." Happy said.

"What's the big deal! You look like a thing that doesn't look like Happy. Relax, no ones gonna recognize you." Natsu said.

"It's so...embarrassing." Wendy muttered as they walked.

"You can say that again." Akira said as she held her head down in shame.

"Fashion sense aside, I do feel quit a bit more at ease now." Carla said.

"I hate this." Miko muttered.

"You do?" Happy asked as they walked on.

"It's hot and itchy in this getup. I think I'm allergic to it." Happy said.

"Please try to toughen up tomcat."

"Aye."

They continued to walk until Natsu stopped.

"It's that flying river." Natsu said.

"I've never seen anything like it before." Wendy said.

"This just reminds me how hungry I am." Happy said.

"I said, toughen up."

Happy's stomach grumbled.

"I bet there's tons of yummy fish swimming in that flying river." Happy said.

"There's a man over there." Akira said as she pointed at the man sitting at the edge, fishing.

"He must be an Edolas native." Carla said.

"Thank goodness. He looks like a normal person." Wendy said.

"What did you expect people here to look like?" Miko asked.

"He's got the right idea though. We should be fishing right now." Happy said.

"Hey. Where did Natsu go?" Akira asked as they looked for their dragon slayer friend.

"Yo."

They all jumped when they noticed that Natsu went to go talk to the man.

"Let me ask you something." Natsu said, but with the big leave covering him, he looked like a monster in the man's eyes. The man let out a terrified scream.

"Of course." Wendy said as she closed her eyes and Akira sweat dropped.

"What is he doing?!" Carla asked.

"Scaring the locals." Happy said.

"Idiot." Miko said.

"I'm looking for a bunch of wizards from the Fairy tail guild, you've seen them around anywhere?"

"Please! Don't hurt me!" The man begged as he screamed.

"Wait! Hold on!" Natsu yelled as he ran off.

"What's his problem? I just wanted a little help."

"Think before you act! You walked up to someone minding their own business, while wearing that ridiculous outfit and then started talking about Fairy Tail! Of course you scared him!" Carla said.

"Okay then, how do you suggest we find everyone?!" Natsu fumed.

"You didn't mean to." Akira said.

"If that man reports us to the authorities we're through." Carla said.

"Let's ditch the customs then, please." Happy said.

They all took off their customs and continued to walk.

"Now we're in even more of a hurry to find them." Carla said.

"This feels a million times better, but I really wish that guy hadn't run off with his fishing rod." Happy said.

"Ah, did I mess that up too." Natsu asked.

"Hey, did anyone else hear a weird noise just a second ago?" Wendy asked.

"Woah! Another fisherman! This guy'll know something for sure." Natsu said.

"Is there a brain in your head?" Miko asked as they looked into the water and a fish popped out.

"Woah! A big fishy!"

"Awesome! Now stand back while I grab us dinner." Natsu said.

All of the sudden it popped out of the water.

"It's huge!" They all yelled as they took a step back.

"Yeah!" Happy cheered.

"Too huge!" Carla and Miko shouted.

"We won't go hungry at least. I'm all fired up!" Natsu said.

"Natsu. We don't have enough time to catch him." Akira said as she looked over at the fire dragon slayer who smirked and punched his fist into his hand.

"All I need is a couple of seconds!" Natsu yelled as he jumped into the air.

"Fire dragon iron fist!" Natsu yelled as no fire covered his fist as he hit the squishy head of the fish.

"Huh!?"

The fish lifted his fin and slapped Natsu into the water.

"Natsu!" They all yelled as Natsu bopped out of the water.

"My fires out."

"How many times do I have to tell you, you can't use magic in Edolas like you can in our world!" Carla shouted as she jumped up.

"Only on thing left to do." Natsu said.

"Run for it!" Happy shouted as they all booted it, the fish chasing after them.

"This place is really gonna suck if we can't use our magic here!" Natsu yelled as they ran. Akira held onto to Miko as they ran.

"And it took all this to make you realize that Natsu!" Happy shouted as he hung off of Natsu.

"I think screaming and running from this monster is gonna attract a lot of unwanted attention!" Wendy said.

"Well this is the monsters idea! So don't blame me!" Natsu yelled.

"Just shut up and run!" Akira shouted.

"Ah just great!" Natsu yelled.

"It's a dead end!" Wendy yelled.

"We noticed that!" Miko said.

"Please Happy you gotta fly us out of here!"

"I can't use magic either!"

They all screamed at the monster fish ran forward, only for it to fall off of the cliff.

"Holy crap! Not having magic is super hard." Natsu said as they looked over the cliff.

"I'm just glad that everyone's okay." Wendy said.

"Would've been a heck of a lot better with fish in my mouth." Happy said.

"Then you might feel foolish today." Carla said as Natsu looked up.

"This would be much easier if you didn't cause a ruckus everywhere you go." Carla said as she pointed at Natsu.

"Be nice." Wendy said.

"So it's my fault? really?" Natsu asked as he pointed at himself.

"You play a large part in our trouble. We no longer have disguises, if the people from the kingdom discover us roaming around, there's no telling what they'll do! And if we get taken into custody you can forget about saving the others, we'll have our work cut out for us trying to save our own skin." Carla lectured as Natsu pouted.

"Oh okay, I don't really get it, but I guess it's all my fault somehow."

"Did anything ever get through that thick skull of yours!"

"Please, take it easy on him, Carla. Natsu's a nice guy and he didn't mean to do anything wrong." Wendy said.

"Why does he have no control!"

And they continued with their journey.

"Life can get pretty weird sometimes, don't you think?" Happy asked.

"What is that suppose to make me feel better or something? And since we're sneaking around, tell your stomach to be quiet" Natsu asked as Akira let out a sigh. They all stopped once Natsu did.

"What's wrong, Natsu?" Akira asked.

"We've been spotted again." Carla said as they looked up to see two Edolas locals.

"Well, what should we do now?" Wendy asked.

"Uh, hello. We're not from around these parts and we seem to have gotten a little lost in this forest." Happy said, when all of the sudden the two bowed.

"We're sorry!"

"It's not our fault! We swear!"

"Eh?"

"Mighty exceed. Please forgive us and let us leave with our lives." They begged.

"Exceed?" Natsu asked.

"I wonder who they're talking about?" Akira asked as she held Miko.

"Yo!" Natsu yelled.

"Don't scare them Natsu!"

"Well it's not like we can avoid them now, huh?" Natsu said.

"I got something important to ask you two so listen closely okay? Some of our friends are here in Edolas..." But Natsu was cut short when the two jumped up and freaked out and ran.

"Please don't hurt us!"

"Well excuse me." Natsu said as Akira sighed.

"It's strange but it seems those people seemed to be afraid of Miko, Happy and Carla." Akira said as they walked.

"Right. I knew it wasn't all my fault." Natsu said.

"Tell me the truth am I really that scary looking?" Happy asked.

"You look like you were gonna eat them." Natsu said.

"No I didn't" Happy said.

"Woah!" Natsu said as he stepped on a weird mushroom.

"Now what's happening?" Carla asked.

"This isn't good." Miko said as they were suddenly shot into the air and bounced off of different mushrooms. And they landed in a house.

"I can't take falling any more." Akira whined.

"That's quite enough for me." Carla said.

"Where are we now?" Natsu asked as they looked around.

"It's like some kind of weird warehouse." happy said.

"Although I believe we're well beyond the point of taking preventable measures. Let's see if there are any clothes we can use to disguise ourselves." Carla said.

"Woah, they got loads of cool stuff here!" Natsu said.

"Natsu. Could you please not look this way for a minute." Wendy said as she clung a red shirt to her.

"Yeah." Akira mumbled as she held a dark green top.

"You peak, and I'll kill you." Miko threatened.

"Awesome headgear!" happy said.

"I suppose this will do for now." Carla said as she wore purple pants with a purple top and purple wraps around her head.

"Yeah! You look beautiful my fine feline." Happy praised as he sported a green cape and metal helmet.

"Not bad." Miko said as he wore grey sweat with a black hood.

Natsu wore a blue shirt with a red hood, while Wendy wore a red long sleeved shirt, with a yellow tie and a navy blue skirt, black knee high socks and brown shoes.

"This is a little too revealing." Akira muttered as she wore a dark green crop top with a black skirt and black knee high sock as well.

"See something, Natsu?" Wendy asked as he finished putting her hair up, Akira's hair was too short, so she just fixed it up.

"It's Fairy Tail!" Natsu said as they ran outside.

"It's in disguise, but I'd recognize it anywhere. That's where they are!"

"Hold on!" Miko yelled.

"Wait for us!" Happy yelled.

" This disguise is way too heavy." Happy said as they stopped in front of the guild hall.

"Woah!" They said as they stood inside the guild hall.

"They're okay!" Natsu said.

"It wasn't even that much trouble to find them." Wendy said.

"Is it just me or does something seem kind of different." Happy said.

"Who cares about that, they're here!" Natsu said.

"Yeah, I guess you're right." Akira muttered.

"No he's not. There is something wrong here." Carla said.

"Hey look, there's the request board." Miko pointed out as they saw Juvia there.

"Seems normal enough to me, I don't understand why we gotta pretend like we're not here." Natsu said.

"Look and you'll see." Carla said.

"Well I'm off. I just took on a pretty major job." Juvia said.

"Take care." Max said.

"Juvia, my beloved. Please wait." Gray cried out.

Natsu's and everyone else's eyes widened when they saw Gray with layers of clothes on.

"If you're going out take me with you, pretty please."

"You're such a wet blanket. And take some clothes off for a change." Juvia said.

"What!?" Natsu said.

"Give me a shout when you got your summer wardrobe." Juvia said.

"I just get really cold."

"He needs to learn a thing or two about being clingy." Warren sighed

"The poor guys head over heels in love with her. He just doesn't what to do with himself." Max shook his head in shame.

"What's going on!?" Natsu screamed.

"Tired of your excuses Elfman." Jet growled.

"You actually bungled up another job." Droy stated.

"It's so embarrassing." Elfman cried.

"Jet and Droy may be our strongest members, but they don't always have to scold the weaker ones." Max stated.

"Got a job to do!"

"Man, does that guy ever take a break?"

"Miss Cana, would you care to join us for an adult beverage?" Macao asked.

"Yeah, sit back and relax." Wakaba said.

"Oh don't be so silly you two-I've never had a drop of alcohol in my life so why start now." Cana giggled as she wore a white dress and hat.

"Hey mu hot biscuit." Alzack smiled as Bisca sat ontop of him.

"Helly cat little gunslinger." Bisca said as Akira and Wendy freaked out.

"You really gotta man up." Jet said.

"Oh no I'm sorry." Elfman cried.

"Quite saying that you're sorry all the time!" Droy said.

"I wanted to clear my love hearing now for Juvia!" Gray said.

"I swear Gray! You're gonna smother that poor girl." Reedus said.

"Yeah. Something is definitely wrong here." Natsu stated.

"Everybody is acting crazier than usual." Happy said.

"Hey! What the heck do you think you're doing?"

They all jumped in surprise as they looked at the person before them.

"What?" Akira said.

"I don't believe it." Miko said.

"What's the big idea with you sneaking around guild like this."

"Lucy!" Happy and Natsu yelled.

"I'm scared Carla." Wendy said.

"Don't worry child, it will be all right. What the devil is going in here." Carla asked as scary Lucy stared at them
