"Right behind ya!" Happy said.

"Got it!" Miko and Maka said.

Meanwhile Marl and Lucky were crying as they watched Happy, a memory of the kingdom taking their egg away flashed before their eyes as they smiled at Happy's fading figure.

Now

A snicker rang through the palace.

"It's as the legends fortold. We have proven that the magic that the Earthlanders possess are indeed within them." Byro smirked as he sat down with the others, Sugarboy, Hughes, Panther Lily, and Coco srood by the king.

"They're much like the exceeds then." Sugarboy thought.

"Be careful to not excit their abilities, the exceeds are far more powerful." Byro said.

"Hold on. You mean even that Lucy girl is like that? She has magic inside of her too?" Coco asked.

"Indeed she does." Byro said.

"We gotta like, keep her alive, right old man?" Hughes asked.

"She must be terminated!" The king spoke abrubtly, casuing them all to look at their king, "The exceeds queen Chagot has given us expilcit orders, any discussion about it is a waste of time and breath."

"The order came from the queen herself?" Coco asked surprised.

"Then it's settled. We can not defy the will of the exceeds." Sugarboy said.

"Man! But this is just like a humongous waste you know!" Hughes whined.

"However, our tecnology is lacking at the moment. We have not yet been able to perform a magical extraction on their human bodies." Byro added.

"So then, what shall we do with the three dragon slayers, sir?" Lily asked.

"Those three are not quit human. They're more of a strange human. Successful experiments with them one day could deliver us everlasting magic power." Byro explained.

"Haha! Now that's cool!" Hughes smiled.

"Yeah! Totally cool!" Coco agreed.

"Very well, Byro. You should have much work to do."

"Indeed." Byro bowed his head.

"And as an added percautionary measure, begin extracting magic from the Earthland lacrima immediatly."

"Right away."

The doors opened as they exited the room.

"It totally blows my mind how we're gonna get our own magic power! It's gonna rule!" Hughes said.

"Hmm. It is an amazing thought." Sugarboy agreed.

"How you gonna celebrate Sugarboy?" Hughes asked.

"I've always wanted to conqure magic surfing."

"Oh, me too!" Coco agreed.

Lucy tried to beg Erza to not throw her over, but it didn't work. Erza smirked as she tossed Lucy over. Lucy screamed as she came closer to the floor.

"Lucy!"

The blonde turned her head to see Happy, Carla, Miko and another exceed she did not know.

"We're coming!" Miko shouted.

"Happy, Miko, Carla!" Lucy said.

"Exceeds?" Erza questioned.

"Everythings gonna be alright! Carl, Miko and I came back to save you!"

Happy ran into a wall as Carla caught Lucy, Maka and Miko on each side of her.

"What an idiot." Miko scoffed.

"At least he gave an effort." Maka smiled.

"Thank you so much...hold on...how come your wings are working again?"

"Our wings were fine, but our hearts were weak." Carla answered.

"Haha...I guess I haven't gotten the hang of flying again." Happy laughed nervously.

They flew Lucy to the top as Erza was surprised.

"But why? The queen, she gave an order, this Earthland girl was to be executed immidiatly."

"The order has been resended." Carla spoke.

"I'm sorry. Altough you may be an exceed, you don't have the power to turn down a directive handed down by the queen herself. I respectfully ask that you hand over the girl at once."

Happy and Maka looked over at Carla nervously, as Miko gave her a look, Carla only folded her arms across her chest.

"Do you not know your place? Bow down."

They were all shocked.

"You are in the presence of greatness here. Of royalty. I am the eldest daughter of queen Chagot, but you may call me devine princess Carla of Extalia."

Everyone was shocked as their eyes widened. Erza quickly bowed.

"I beg for your forgiveness, my grace."

"We is We-I mean were are the three dragonslayers?"

"In the basement of the west tower."

"I command you to relase them at once."

"I'm afraid that I can't. I don't have the authority. I'm truly sorry."

"I won't accept your excusses!"

"Yes. It's unacceptable, but-"

"Erza! Those four are fallan exceeds! They've been banished from the kingdom of Extalia!" Lily warned as he ran down the hall woth guards behind him.

"That doesn't sound good. Do you know who he is?" Lucy asked.

"No. I've never seen him before, all I know is that he's gotta be the biggest cat I've seen." Happy said.

"We need to go now." Carla said flying away.

"Hold on, I thought you said you were some kind of princess!" Lucy said as Happy, Miko and Maka followed after Carla.

"You saved me, thank you." Lucy said.

"I though you'd be angry." Carla stated.

"Why? About what?"

"Because we were the ones who got you captured in the first place."

"But you made it up by rescuing me. Right Happy and Miko?"

"I'm so sorry, Lucy."

"Forgive us." Miko stated.

"Maybe it'd be a different story if you hadn't come back. But forget about that for now. I'm still shocked to hear that Carla is a princess in this world."

"I didn't know either." Happy said.

"Snuck up on us." Miko said.

"That was just a bluff obviously." Carla spoke.

"What?!"

As Carla and Happy talked they heard a sniffle. They all turned their attention to Maka.

"The hell you crying about?" Miko snarled.

"Oh...it's just...you're relationship is so beautiful!" Maka cried as she hugged Miko, who's eyes widened as he tried to pry her off.

"What the hell! Let go!"

'Oh yeah, I forgot she was here.' Lucy thought, "That reminds me, who are you again?" Lucy asked as Maka turned to look at her and let Miko go.

"Oh! I'm Maka! I was helping these three and thought it'd be fun to tag along!"

"Ok...hey, is that the west tower there? Hold on, what's that sound?"

Lucy turned around to see a hoard of exceeds lead by Nichiya.

"Surrender now fallan! Escape now is futile!"

"Woah! That's alot of flying cats!"

"Now men! Go!"

"Yes sir!"

"We're too exposed in the air like this, let's get to the ground!" Maka suggested.

"That's not such a good idea! They're all over the ground too!" Happy warned.

"Lucy, can you use your celestial magic?" Carla asked.

"I'm sure this sticky stuff is blocking my magic power." Lucy said holding up her bonded hands.

"Iniciate Code EDT right away!" The king yelled as a horn went off.

"We have to get inside immidiatly!" Carla said as they flew faster.

"Code EDT, iniciate!"

Lights from the canons began to fire up. And was aimed for the group of exceeds.

"Why would they be firing at them like that?" Carla asked with wide eyes.

"What the heck is going on here? I thought the people of Edolas worshiped the exceeds. Is this some kind of rebelion?" Lucy asked.

"I'm not entirely sure, but let's use this confusion to our advantage. This may be our only chance to save Wendy and the others!" Carla said flying into the tower, the others behind her.

"Aye!"

All of the exceeds were then turned into a giant cat lacrima.

"Now this may tickle a bit." Byro snickered as he held a canon at Natsu, Wendy and Akira, who were chained against a wall, "your sacrifcice will be a great deal for our kingdom."

"Things are getting worse by the minute." Happy said as they all ran down the stairs.

"Who knew Edolas was so close to starting a war with the exceeds." Lucy commented.

"What they choose to do is none of our concern, we have no stake in the matter. They can wipe eachother out if they like."

They continued to run, until a staff was thrown, creating a crater on the path before them. They all gasped as they saw Erza Knightwalker and her army behind her.

"This is as far as you'll be going."

"Oh, come on! Seriously, I thought you had more important things to do then bother with us." Lucy complained as Erza smirked and whipped them all back, causing them to let out a scream as they laid on the ground, Erza stepping closer.

"Impressive. You just took a direct hit from my magic. And yet you're still breathing. But not for much longer." Erza spoke as she walked forward and stopped infront of Lucy, who whimpered, "You see, my orders said nothing about taking you alive. So it seems there's only one option." Erza smirked, raisng her staff as electricity came out of it. Miko and Happy screamed as they rammed Erza into a wall, causing her staff to fall onto the floor as it broke and Lucy fell, along with Happy and Miko. Lucy screamed as she tried to get closer to the two.

"Happy, Miko! Wake up!"

"I'm sorry Natsu...I tried...I really thought that this time I'd be able to save you. But I'm to weak and now it's all over for me. All the time we spent together. The two of us fighting against the odds. Natsu, you never gave up no mstter what...." Happy said as he went on.

"Akira...I'm sorry I couldn't protect you." Miko whispered as a small tear escaped his eye, as images of Akira flashed before his eyes.

'What?' A five year old Akira asked as she looked at Miko.

'I said I'd protect you, ya hear me! That's a promise!' Miko stated boldly as Akira smiled and giggled, 'It's not funny! I mean it!'

Akira hugged Miko tightly, 'I know, I believe you can do it Miko, you're my hero.'

Miko's eyes widened.

"Her hero." Miko whispered as his face hardened and his wings came out, "Don't give up, Happy! Wake up, Natsu still needs you!" Miko yelled as Lucy grabbed Happy and Carla grabbed her, Maka reached Miko and supported him as tbey flew off.

Wendy's screams rang through the halls. Then Natsu's.

"What impress specimens you are. The magic power you have is imensive!" Byro said as Wendy and Natsu groaned. Akira's eyes widened in fear.

"Natsu...are you okay?" Wendy asked.

"Yeah...no matter what they do to us you guys can't let them get the best of you, you got that?"

Wendy nodded.

"Yeah." Akira breathed out.

"I know we're gonna make it through this. Don't you dare give up hope!"

"Yeah."

"Got it."

Byro snickered, "So nice to have you willing face reality and know when you've been beaten. Is this another part of what makes you a dragon slayer?" Byro asked before shooting the canon at Natsu again, as he screamed in pain.

"Natsu no!" Akira yelled.

"Listen to me! You have to stay strong! You can't let them break your spirit Wendy and Kira!"

"I promise I won't!"

"Dom't worry!"

"Sounds like a challenge to me." Byro stated.

"No! Take everything from me! Just leave them alone!" Natsu shouted in pain.

"Your turn." Byro said as he turned the canon to Akira, who's eyes widened.

"Leave her alone!" Natsu shouted as Byro fired it, extracting Akira's magic power. Akira let out a scream of pain and it filled the room and for sure bounced off in the halls.

"Akira!" Wendy shouted.

"As it stands now, we're trapped in here like rats." Carla said as they were in a hidden room.

"I'm sure they have a ton of soliders were they're guarding Natsu, Akira and Wendy. You proably can't get anywhere near it." Lucy said.

"We came so close but...Wendy."

"Kira." Miko muttered as Maka looked at him in worry as he stirred in her lap, she was in her human form. Happy also began to stir awake in Lucy's lap.

"Happy, Miko." Carla said.

"There's no way we can give up now. We owe it to Natsu. We can fight jist like he does, he'd do the same for us! Of we don't honor his fighting spirit and help them then we don't even deserve to surive!" Happy replied.

"Do you have any idea what we should do?" Lucy asked as Happy looked up.

Akira's screams ran through the halls.

"Stop! Please, don't hurt her!" Natsu yelled.

"Ahhh!"

The guards turned to see Happy flying towards them.

"It's one of the fallen!"

"The blue one!"

"Get ready, for my poison mess attack!" Happy said as he flung the bag and white powder came out, causing the guards to cover their eyes.

"Try not to breath it in!"

"That's not poison! It's just flour!"

Happy flew through the flour and flew down the hall.

"He's getting away!"

"Seems the plan worked." Carla said as they peeked around the corner.

"Not bad." Miko stated.

"Yeah!" Maka whispered as Lucy nodded and they were on the move.

"I really hope he can out run them." Lucy said as they ran down the hall. But were pushed back by Erza, rolling on the floor.

"Are you kidding me." Miko groaned, Maka whimpered, being in her human form made the scratches and brusies more evident.

"Creating a diversion to draw away our forces is the most pretictable strategy to come up with. Do you honestly take us for complete fools?" Erza said walking forward. Akira's cry was then heard, causing Miko's eyes to widened.

"That's Akira!"

"What are you doing to them in there?!" Maka asked.

"In order for us to fully exucute Code EDT we must gain necessary magic power."

"Ahhh!" Akira screamed.

"No! Leave her alone!" Natsu cried out.

"You bastards! You're going to kill them!" Miko yelled as tears fell from his eyes, Carla whimpered at the thought as she cried as well.

"We've captured the fallan." The guard said as he threw Happy to the floor.

"Happy!" Carla cried.

"And with that your devils luck as completly run out." Erza said walking forward and raising her staff towards Carla.

"Please you have to let Wendy go!"

Happy walked infront of Carla, causing Erza to stop as she stared at him.

"No, I won't...I won't let you hurt Carla, not while I'm here." Happy said as tears cascaded down his face, "You'll have to kill me first!"

"Happy." Carla cried.

Erza smirked, "Very well then...your wish is my command." Erza said, bringing her staff down.

"No!" Carla cried.

"Happy!" Miko yelled.

Erza brought her staff down as Happy cloaed his eyes tightly. But before that could happen, someone broke through the wall as icy mist surrounded them.

"What's going on?!" Erza asked.

Two figures now stood before them.

"You got some nerve lady. You know they're with us! And you decided to mess with them anyway!" A male voice spoke.

"Any one who would lay a hand on our guild members will be dealt with accordingly." A female voice said.

"But how! I thought you were gone!" Carla stated.

"You've made a big mistake, and now you're on Fairy Tail's bad side. You should've known better then to mess with us!" The guy said.

Erza Knightwalked gritted her teeth in anger. The mist cleared to show two familiar faces, causing them to smile as Lucy was relieved.

"Gray! Erza!"
