Having a bestfriend like Abbie had its ups and downs. The good part was how sweet and caring he was towards you, but the bad part was how easily bullied he got, and he couldn't even do anything about it.

"Oliver, can you go away already?"

You spoke in a rought tone, poor Abbie standing behind you as you spread youre hands out to protect him. Abbie was a big target of the local bullies. Oliver, Edward and Zip, the bully trio, was always a pressure on his back. Abbie slightly trembled.

"Awww, little crybaby cant defend himself...~?"

Oliver mocked Abbie in a baby voice, making Abbie frown even more. You felt so bad for him, but luckily, you were there to protect him, he was thankful to have a protector like you on his side.

"Oliver, s-stop..."

Abbie felt miserable and weak. Youre expression grew angered at them, giving them a furious glare.

"Seriously, how long will they keep defending you?"

Edward questioned, his arms arrogantly placed on his hips. Abbie looked in quiet after that, so you decided to jump in the conversation.

"For as long as you three jerks can pester him..."

The trio oohed at that serious answer, not taking the situation important, since you always had to protect him from others.

"How sweet, the little man needs a protector...~"

Zip teased, giggling as Edwards grin widened.

"Will you shut up, you guys?!"

You yelled at them a bit, as they froze for a moment. That yell was pretty sudden now.

"I can't deal with youre bullshit anymore, are you really that bored with youreselves?!"

Zip snorted.

"Mhm, it's our favourite thing to do, tamper others for fun...~"

Edward joked, looking over at Abbie, who covered his face in embarrasment. You rose youre hands to hid Abbie better.

"It's not like you'll do something about it, will you?"

Oliver leaned closer, sounding a little serious and threataning. You chuckle coldy at him, as Abbie's eyes perked up, now peeking at you two.

"Oh, I maybe just might, and I will continue defending him from assholes like you three, because I care for him and I just want to give him one peaceful day in here..."

Abbie could feel a warm blush on his face after you said that.

"Awww, how adorable~"

Oliver mocked.

"I want you to stop messing around with him and everyone in here..."

Oliver frowned, rolling his eyes with a distasteful look.

"Youre just as annoying as him..."

Oliver walked away, Edward and Zip kinda suprised he actually leaved you alone. Abbie was the most shocked, but, that was the key of getting rid off him actually. If you annoy the hell out of Oliver, he will eventually walk away once you get unbareable and boring. You huff, as they all go away. Abbie suddenly tears up in joy and hug you tightly.

"THANK YOU, THANK YOU SO SO SO MUCH!"

He was so glad you tammed the chaos down properly. You giggle at wipe his tears away.

"What would I do without you?? Youre my hero!"

He said with a soft smile, as you cooed at him and carresed his face.

"Awww, thank you, Abbie... <3"

Abbie's smile widens, as he pulls you closer and hugs you once again, humming contently. He would be lying if he said he didn't feel a weird tingly feeling overcome him. Youre pressence alone gave him that feeling, but he didn't mind, as long as he had you, he was more than greatful. You were like a gift from angels to him, hell you were an angel in his miserable and suffering life.
