I followed Strato through the palace as he leads me to the main halls.

"Are you Terran?"

He looked at me as he let out a soft chuckle and shook his head.

"I'm asked that a lot, but no I'm not. I'm actually Xandarian believe it or not."

"Oh." I said as we walked through the long halls.

"So, how long as it been since you've last seen your brother?"

"10 years." I said as I clenched my fist. And he said nothing more. We pushed through the big red doors and walked into the halls, seeing no Kino, but his wife. She had vibrant violet skin, with lavander swirls on the sides of her arms and face, her eyes were a bright magenta and her hair was shoulder length and jet black. She gave me an apologetic smile and picked up her long pink dress as she rushed towards me. She stopped and bowed. I then noticed that the rest of the Guardians were finally at my side.

"What the hell." Quill whined as I scoffed.

"You were too slow."

"I am terribly sorry for Kino's behavior, he's usally not like that.

I only rolled my eyes and crossed my arms over my chest as I glared at her. She was hesitant before smiling.

"I'm Alkima, by the way, it's a pleasure to meet you all. You are hero's for what you did back on Xandar."

"You know about that?" Quill asked.

"Word travels fast around the galaxy, not to mention, you guys did rid of Ronan after all."

Strato then stepped foreward.

"My queen, they will be staying with us for awhile, would you like me to bring them to their rooms?"

"Of, course, thank you Strato, take them down the hall."

Strato nodded as he looked at us.

"Follow me." He said as he sent me a small smile. I returned it and followed him.

"So....what exactly do you do here." Quill asked.

Strato looked back at Quill quizzly.

"Quill is intimated by you, since you are taking his women." Drax stated as if it was completely normal.

"Dude!"

"What?"

"Idiots." I mumbled, while Strato chuckled.

"Well, I'm mainly a messanger, but I also help with missions as well."

He then led us to one room.

"This is your room, Gamora." Gamora nodded and walked in.

"The room next to he's will be for Rocket and the tree, the one next to them will be Drax, then Quill and finally Kiana."

We all went to our rooms, Strato walked with me to my room, Quill behind us, mumbling under his breath. I scowled as I turned to him. And he shut up instantly. I then turn to Strato.

"Thank you for a company me."

"It's no big deal, besides, think of it as a friendly gesture."

I smiled while Quill frowned.

"Gets some rest, the Queen wants you all to join them at breakfast tomorrow morning."

"Thank you, Strato." I said as he took my hand and placed a gentle kiss upon it.

"Of course." He said as he backed away.

"Good night." And with that he was gone. I stood there and looked down at my hand and were Strato was standing. Quill scoffed and I turned to face him.

"What is your problem."

"What? Me? No I'm fine. Just peachy."

I sighed as he motioned for him to follow me into the room. I looked around and saw a big pink bed, with pink pillows and pink curtains, along with a pink rug. I groaned as I looked at the room in disgust. While Quill let out a soft chuckle.

"Wow. They really got your personality tied into one room."

"It's disgusting." I growled as I walked over and ripped off the pink curtains and threw them in the pink rug, I then grabbed all of the frilly pink pillows, except for the white ones, and threw them onto the rug, I then rolled up the rug and picked it up, I opened the window and threw it outside. I then closed the window and whipped off my hands before placing them upon my hips and smiling.

"This is better."

Quill only shook his head before he sat on the bed and patted on it. I rolled my eyes as I walked over and sat next to him.

"Do you get an off vibe from everyone here, I mean, you just meet this guy and he's already kissing your hand."

"As if you did not try to get close to me when we first met."

"That's different."

"Quill, are you jelous?"

"What? No! I am not jelous."

I rolled my eyes as I picked up his Walkman and turned it on. Ain't no mountain high enough started playing. It was one of my favorite Terran songs, I hummed and hopped my head a little. I turned to see Quill smiling at me.

"What?"

He then stood up and held out his hand.

"Dance with me."

"Quill, I told you. I do not dance."

"Come on."

"No."

"You've had a rough day, come on, just one dance. Please."

I sighed, thinking about his offer. And he was right, today was not one of my best day. I then placed my hand in his. He pulled me up and held me close to him. He held his hands on my waist, while mine were loosely around his neck. He looked down at me and smiled as we started to swat slightly to the music. I used to dance back on my home world. But I haven't danced in a while, so I was rusty compared to Quill. Quill must've noticed that I was drifting off in my own thoughts.

"What's up?"

"I am worried about my brother, and what Strato is asking of us."

"Hey, no need to stress out about it. Besides the Guardians are here to help you, if something goes wrong then we'll just kick their asses."

I let out a soft laugh.

"Okay. I trust you, Quill."

He only smiled in return as we coutinued to sway to the music. Once the song ended I let go and placed my hand on Quill's shoulder.

"Thank you, Quill."

He smiled as he walked to the door, with me on his heels. He turned around and smiled down at me. I smiled back as I placed a light kiss on his scruffy cheek. His eyes widened in surprise as his mouth hung slightly open. While I let out a light laugh.

"Good night, Quill."

He walked out the door, still in shock.

"Yeah, g-good night."

"What the fuck." Was the last thing I heard from him before I walked over to my bed and layer down. I sighed as sleep took over and nothing thoughts filled my mind.
