jungkook waited for jimin outside the school gate, checking his wrist watch and smiled cheekily when he heard the school bell. he saw the other students walking out of the school, he had decided to skip his last class to buy some things.

"you're jungkook?"

jungkook looked at a tall make standing in front of him, fists tighten and his messy hair making him look more dangerous.

"yeah, why?"

jungkook stood up straight, making him look equally as tall as the male in front of him.

"stay away from jimin."

jungkook smirked, he clicked his tongue and chuckled.

"taehyung, am i right?"

taehyung only looked at him, waiting for jungkook to initiate something.

"who are you to tell me what to do?"

jungkook remarked, he just wanted jimin to come out and control taehyung. he knew jimin was the only one who could. taehyung threw a punch at jungkook's face, jungkook moved his head quickly and kicked taehyung right in the stomach.

taehyung fell to the floor, grunting in pain as jungkook threw kicks at his side. the remaining students circled around the fighting boys.

taehyung kicked jungkook's shin, making him hiss in pain and taehyung took advantage to push him to the ground. jungkook groaned in pain as taehyung tried to throw punches, jungkook had fast reflexes and flipped taehyung over. throwing a punch at taehyung's cheek, before he could do more damage he heard his name being called.

"jungkook, stop!"

jungkook stopped punching the poor boy as he looked up to see jimin staring at him. jimin ran closer to taehyung, kneeling down right next to him, ignoring jungkook who was looking at him.

"taehyung? please respond-"

taehyung coughed as he groaned in pain, clutching tightly at his sides. jimin looked at jungkook.

"please go to the infirmary room and call the nurse."

jungkook stared at jimin in disbelief, was he not worrying about him?

"please, jungkook."

after seeing jimin pleading, jungkook coldly walked to the infirmary room, pushing the students out of his way.

"he's going to be fine."

jimin smiled at the nurse, he looked over at taehyung who was laying on the bed with a purple bruise on his cheek. jimin bowed at the nurse leaving, he sat back down and stared at taehyung.

why did he save taehyung?

why didn't he go with jungkook instead?

what did he get himself into?

jimin jumped in shock when he felt a hand weakly squeezing his hand. he looked over and saw taehyung furrowing his eyebrows, jimin blinked at him.

"taehyung?"

taehyung opened his eyes and smiled at jimin, he tried to sit up but he hissed in pain and jimin demanded him to stay laying down.

"i'll get the nurse."

jimin was about to stand up but he felt a hand grip onto his wrist. he looked at taehyung and sat back down, taehyung smiled at him.

"please stay."

taehyung whispered, he slightly moved to the side, leaving half the bed empty. he patted the empty space, jimin frowned in confusion.

"what are-"

"lay beside me."

jimin's eyes widened as he gulped, he decided to just lay down. he faced taehyung, feeling the taller male place an arm on his waist, pulling him a bit close but not to touch his painful stomach.

"how-how are you feeling?"

jimin asked, slightly uncomfortable in taehyung's embrace. taehyung smiled, he closed his eyes.

"much better because you are with me."

jimin gulped, he stood up, making taehyung open his eyes to see jimin pulling on his sweater.

"i-i hope you feel better tae."

without thinking, jimin placed a kiss on taehyung's cheek and ran out the room. taehyung sat there dazed, he touched his cheek and smiled.

jimin knocked on jungkook's door, he panted because he ran here to see if jungkook was okay. jimin smiled when he saw the door opening, revealing an angry jungkook.

"what do you want?"

jimin frowned, it seemed as if they were back to day one, where jungkook avoided jimin.

"are-are you okay?"

jungkook sighed, leaning against his doorframe.

"why don't you go back to taehyung."

jimin bit his lip, he nodded his head a bit before looking at jungkook.

"fine, at least he didn't hurt me like you did."

with that jimin left, he felt a tear running down his cheek. he stopped at the corner of the street and let out some sobs, this totally wasn't his day.

he had left taehyung.

he was coldly rejected by jungkook.

he didn't know anymore.
