🌼Adrien's POV🌼

I leap over rooftop to rooftop. My heart was racing. It felt as if my heart would explode out of my chest.

The rhythm of my heart beat rebounds in my ears and my chest tightens.

My gaze falls to a empty ally and I quickly get in and hide behind the dumpster.

"Plagg Claws In." I said quickly as I de-transformed from Chat Noir and back to my normal self.

As Plagg flew out of my ring I turned to glare at my Kwamii. "Do you mind explaining what had just happened?" I asked him angrily as he looked at me.

"Explain what?" He asked as I rolled my eyes, pulling out a piece of camembert cheese.

"Don't act like you don't know Plagg. It was kind of terrifying to be honest." I rambled out as he eyed the piece of stinky cheese.

"Adrien.." He whined as I huffed, crossed my arms over my chest. "You know what I'm talking about. So tell me or you get no cheese." I demanded as he looked at me.

"Ok fine.." He grumbled out as he took in a deep breath.

"Every person who becomes a miraculous holder of the black cat miraculous goes through a heat. The protector of the miraculous calls it an imprint."

"An imprint? Like a werewolf thing?" I asked as Plagg nodded. "Yeah I guess. You're of age. Well maybe a little younger than the previous miraculous owners but whatever." He replied as I frowned, pulling out a piece of cheese.

"But..I don't get it. How does it work?" I asked him as he ate his cheese.

"Look kid, I don't know how it works. From my previous owners, they explained it to be very..intresting. It's uncontrollable. It just happens." Plagg stated as he looked at me with a stern look.

"You can't tell (y/n) about your imprint with her. It will only expose that you're Chat Noir." He grumbled as I crossed my arms across of my chest.

"Why would I do that? I'm not stupid Plagg...its just..she's one of my best friends..what will happened between us now?" I asked him worriedly as he sighed.

"The exactly what an imprint does. You begin to catch feelings for her. You become over protective-you basically become her boyfriend, well without her knowing."

"Her boyfriend?!" I shrieked as Plagg smirked at me. "Maybe even lustful attractions too."

I felt my skin go pale and then heat up. "Oh dear god..this can't be happening.."

"Oh but it is, and if the imprints gets stronger than you can eventually pick up on her thoughts and emotions." Plagg added on with a wink as I blushed even more.

"W-what do you mean by emotions?"

"Don't get dirty minded Adrien. Basically she's your target. You will be able to know where she is, and such. Like a wolf tracking a rabbit." Plagg stated as I nodded, rubbing the back of my neck.

"This is a lot to take in..what if..what if she finds out?"

"She won't. But eventually you'll need to tell her. But she can always deny the imprint. Eventually she will start to feel things for you if it works out. If not the imprintee will just deny you."

I felt my stomach go into knots, clenching and unclenching my hands into fists. "That won't happen." I found myself saying as Plagg chuckled.

"Uh-huh. Now shouldn't we head back to school?" He suggested as I take in a deep breath. "Yeah ok. Let's go." I replied as Plagg went to find in my white jacket as I stepped out of the ally way and ran back to the school.

"Adrien!" I hear (y/n) shout as I make my way up the steps of the front of the school.

Instantly her scent fills my nose. She smelt sweet as lavender. Her (e/c) eyes filled with worry. I smiled shyly as she crashed into me.

"I was so worried about you!" She cried out as I felt my heart skip a beat. Usually I would hug her back you know a friend approach but now it felt different.

I wrapped my arms around her
pressing my face against her soft (h/c) hair, my one hand stroked her back.

"It's ok (y/n), I'm just glad you're ok." I whispered softly as I felt her heart beat against her chest, just in rhythm with mine.

"Adrien are you ok?" She asked as she pulled away from my hug, making my chest tighten. Her beautiful (e/c) eyes searches mine.

"Im fine (y/n), just fine." I replied as I rested a hand on her cheek. "Did that akumatized girl hurt you?" I asked her as she shook her head, slowly lowering my hand from her blushing cheek.

"N-no. Chat Noir came right in time to save me." She replied as her face got redder from the mention of Chat Noir.

I smiled at her. I'm glad I saved you (y/n)..

"I'm glad he came right on time." I said softly as she looked at me and smiled. "We should probably head to class Agreste." She teased as she flicked my nose as I felt my face go hot.

"Y-yeah.." I stuttered out as she chuckled softly as I then followed her to class like a lost puppy.

Oh god..(y/n) will be the death of me..
