Avni : Coward....she said after slapping him

Avni had tears in her eyes. But more than that their was anger, aggression, endless questions and so many emotions in her eyes. She didnt have anything to say more....

Since last 7 years.....Avni only had one thought in her mind... that why he left her like that...She always wanted to ask him 'Why....?'.

But she never thought that.....what will she do when he will actually come in front of her...?

She never thought that...what will be her reaction on seeing him.....How will she react....?

Because she never believed that he will ever come back. She had already lost all the hopes..... She was left with no expectations from him.

BUT NOW, when he is actually back, she don't know what to say ? how to react ? She had left with no words to say.

So she just turned around and left. She finally left the party and went back to her home.

Neil was silent. He didn't have any courage left, to meet her eyes after this.

That night was difficult....for both of them.

Avni was crying sitting alone in her room. She cried the whole night.

Neil was roaming alone on the roads. He left and didn't met his parents, as he lost all his courage. He thought he did a mistake to come back.

On the other hand, Arya was full enjoying in Ali and Riya's house. She was playing , smiling and laughing.

After that night.....The life will not going to be same for the three of them.

Next Day

First thing avni did in the morning is that, she reached Ali's house to pick up Aarya.

Ali : Hey avni...come...come inside.

Avni : Aarya so rhi hai...?

Ali : Haan vo....kal raat ko bohot masti kr rhi thi...kaafi der se soyi. he said

Avni smiled.

They sat in the drawing room. Riya came.

Riya : Hey Avni....tum itni subah...?

Avni : Haa vo actually...Aarya ka school bhi hai...so main use lene aa gyi....

Riya : Ohh haan.....Wait...Tum ruko....main use jaga ke aati hun...

Avni nodded. Riya left to bring aarya.

Ali noticed Avni was looking different. Her eyes were swollen. And she was looking sad.

Ali : Avni....is everything okay...? Look at your eyes....? he said feeling concerned.

Avni : Ha...haan i am fine. Main thik hu..... she said but she didnt looked in his eyes.

Ali placed a hand on her. He asked...

Ali : Avni....please don't hide it from me. Tell me.....kya hua haii.....?

he said.....and avni could not lie to him anymore....

She finally told him.....

Avni : H..he....he is back Ali. I...i saw him yesterday. N....NEIL IS BACK.

Ali (shocked) : WHAT...? He...he was there in the party ? he asked with his wide opened shocked eyes.

Avni nodded "yes....he..he was there. He...he saw me.....and he....he had seen aarya too. "

Ali was completely shocked...

Avni : Ohh...toh isiliye kal tum....kal tum party se aise jaane ki zidd kr rhi thi...Thats....thats why you left ?

Avni nodded. She got emotional...and tears again filled in her eyes.

Avni : Haan Ali....and i...i dint know how to react.....I was so disturbed yesterday.....I was so lost....
M..mujhe nhi smjh aa rha main kya kru......Voh..voh kyu aaya hai vapis.....itne saale ke baad....Ab kyu aaya hai dobara meri life me...
Ab jab meri life normal hone lgi hai...sab kuch thik hone lga hai...toh..voh....aise....achanak.....
Kyu...? Kyu aaya hai voh... dobara mujhe dard dene...?
Avni held her head in frustration.

Ali placed a hand on her shoulder to calm her down......He was about to say something......in the mean while..

Aarya : Mummaa...... arya came smiling to her.

Avni immediately turned her face and wiped her tears and put a smile on her face.....

She looked at aarya and smilingly hugged her....

Avni : Mera bachha...... she kissed her forehead and hugged her again.

Avni : So aapne yaha enjoy kiya...?

she asked her to which arya excitedly answered...

Arya : Muma i enjoyed alot....Ali chachu or Riya masi ne mere sath bohot sare games khele....humne bohot masti ki......Or maine ice cream bhi khayi...... she kept on telling her things and brought a big smile on avni's face...

(Ali and Riya smiled looking at them...)

Avni : Acha ab chale....aapko school bhi jana haii....

Aarya : No mumma...aaj no school...please....

Avni : But arya....

Arya : please...please...please mumaa.... she pleaded with a innocent face and avni could not decline her plead.

Avni smiled and said yes...

Avni : Okay.....Lekn hume ghar toh jana hai na....toh chlo ab jaldi se sabko bye bolo....

Arya hugged Ali and Riya and bid them good bye....Ali smiled and kissed her cheeks.....

Avni then left with Arya. Before leaving, Ali told her not to take much stress...and suggest her to be normal. He told her to forget everything. Avni nodded.

Arya didn't go to school that day. This gave avni a chance to spend her whole day with her. Avni spent the whole day with Arya. She was around her everytime.

She tried to forget what happened, and tried to divert her mind. She played with arya, she cooked for her, she watched cartoons with her and she painted along with her.

They both enjoyed and laughed.. Avni tried to act normal....like nothing has happened.

But.....In the evening,

There was a knock on the door.

"Door bell rings"

Avni : Arya aap ye draw kro....i will be back.... she left arya with colours and went to open the door.

The moment she opened the door, she was SHOCKED.....her eyes widened and her heart skipped a beat.

It was Neil standing there at the door.

She was in shock.....

Avni : T...t...tum....Tum yaha kya kr rhe ho...?

Neil took a deep breath and said, gaining a lot of courage......

Neil : I...i....i want to...i want to talk to you.

Avni was shocked that he reached to her house also...

Avni : Th...there is nothing to talk. Y...you...you please leave. she didnt looked in his eyes.....

She said and was about to close the door....but neil intervened.

Neil : Avni please....... he said holding the door preventing it from being closed.

Avni looked at him. Her heart started beating fast. She tried to avoid looking at him. Her throught was dry. Her hands started shivering.

Suddenly arya came outiside looking for her....

Arya : Mumma....aap kaha ho...

Arya came and she peeped outside from the door...... She saw the same man she saw last night in the party.

Arya : Arew aap toh vhi ho na...jo kal party me bhi the....? she said bringing neil and avni's attention toward her.

Neil looked at aarya and smiled.....while Avni got nervous.

While arya suddenly recognizes him and excitedly said....

Aarya : Ohhh noo.....I forgot....
Aap toh vhi ho na......The singing concert wale...? Yes....I saw you on t.v....i saw you playing guitar....AND I LOVE YOUR SONGS....!

Neil smiled....He looked at avni but avni was not looking in his eyes.

Arya got so excited realising that he is the same singer she listened at the concert. She loved his songs...and now he was right in front of her.

That poor little girl does not know, that this man in front of her , has much more importance in her life, than just being a singer she loved.

Aarya : WOW...Mumma....aapne dekha....he is the superstar singer.

Ummm kya naam tha.... (arya tried thinking the name she heard on tv)

haan...yaad aa gya....NEIL... NEIL KHANNA.....! she said excitedly.

Avni was shocked. She looked at arya and then she slowly looked at neil....

Arya had sparkling eyes. She was so happy to see neil.
Right now she was just awwstruck with neil (as his little fangirl).

Avni was speechless at the moment. She...she didnt know how to react at this situation. This has become very awkward for her.

On the other hand, neil was smiling. He was unaware of the fact....that this little girl is not only his daughter , but is actually his fan too.

He slowly bent down in front of her and just adored her. His eyes got wet seeing her daughter.

He kept adoring her. Her beautiful smile, her shinning glittering eyes, her hairs, her nose, her little fingers...everything. He just adored her smilingly.

He was feeling differently. He never felt like that before.

That feeling was different. He forgot everything at that moment and just kept adoring her.

Neil slowly cupped her face with his shivering hands and he asked...

Neil : Hey...wh...whats...whats your name ?

Arya : Oh i forgot to introduce myself...Hi I am Aarya. I am 6 years old.

Neil smiled...his eyes were wet. He bit his lips to control his tears...

Neil : Aarya.. Bohot pyaara naam hai aapka....bilkul aap hi ki tarah... (he said caressing her face)

He can't stop himself from adoring her. She was so cute, so beautiful. And her smile was so precious. Her smile just melted neil's heart.

It was so new for him. Realising that he has a daughter, and then seeing her in real. It was all like a dream for him.

Neil held arya's little hands and asked....

Neil : Aarya....aapne mujhe dekha hai....? You have seen me on ...on TV...? he asked her as he was so so happy to hear that her daughter has already watched him sing.

Arya : Yes....But only once.
Mom mujhe tv dekhne hi nhi deti...hmesha mna krti hai....
But jab aapka concert aaya tha...I so wanted to watch that....
Maine muma se zidd ki and she agreed also.... And that concert was so good.... I loved the song... I loved the guitar. OR MUJHE MUSIC SUNNA BOHOT PASAND HAI....I JUST LOVE MUSIC. she said in a single go in her excitement.

Neil was surprised to hear this. His face expression changed listening this. He looked at arya and then looked at avni, while Avni also looked at him.

After sometimes, Avni break the eye contact with Neil...and said to arya...

Arya : Aa....aarya please go inside...

Arya : Mumma....is he also coming inside...? she said in her innocence.

Avni : Arya...i said go inside. Leave his hand and just go.....

Arya : But mumma....

Avni : Arya aapne suna nhi muma ne kya kaha..... she said a bit loud

Arya agreed. She left neil's hands and went inside.

Neil got up and stood in front of her but he was not looking in her eyes.

Avni : M..mujhe bohot kaam hai....You....you can also leave please...! she said not meeting his eyes.

Neil : A....avni please....ek baar mujhse bat kr lo.....bs ek baar... he said begging in front of her...... to which avni looked at him.

Avni finally agreed and came outside. She closed the door and came in the garden....neil followed her.

She stood in front of him and said....

Avni : Kya baat neil.....Kya baat krna chahte ho tum...Bolo....Bolo ab...main sun rahi hu....? she said folding her hands in front of him

Avni was looking straight in his eyes...but he was not.

Neil : I....i want to...i want to apologize to you.
I.....I AM SORRY. he said looking down....as he was unable to see in her eyes.

Avni didnt reacted. She stood their and listened.

Neil : Avni dekho......main janta hu....main janta hu mujhse bohot badi galti hui hai.....Bohot badi....

Or main ye bhi janta hu ki tum....tum mujhe maaf nhi kr skti.
Lekin please avni mujhe ek...ek mauka do....explain krne kaa....Main tumne sab btana chahta hun.

Avni : Ho gaya tumhara....? Tumne kaha or maine sun liya...
Ab....ab main jaa sakti hun.....?
she said controlling so much inside her.

She didn't want to look weak in front of him. She want to show him that she didnt really cared.

Neil was shocked to see her like this.....He slowly looked up at her....and she has no emotions on her face.
He was confused at her cold reaction.

Avni was about to turn and leave when neil stopped her....

Neil : Av.....Avni.....? he said and he also extended his hands to hold her.....

But avni stopped him in between....She stepped back and put a hand in front of him......

Avni : NO......DON'T.....DONT NEIL.
she stopped him to touch her hand

And this time, avni had tears in her eyes. She looked in his eyes....and he noticed her tears....

Avni continued.....

Avni (with tears in her eyes) : Don't you dare touch me neil....You now have no right to touch me.

(she looked straight and tears fell on her cheeks....)

Or kyu....kyu aaye ho tum vapis ? Aakhir kya dekhne aaye ho....ki main zinda hu ya nhii ? Kahi mari toh nhi.....? she now start bursting at him in anger....

Neil : No....No Avni.....ai...aisa nhi hai...neil felt really bad to see her in tears.

Avni : Toh kaisa hai neil.....Itne saalo ke baad aake kya jatana chahte ho....Ki tumhe abhi bhi meri fikar hai..? Ye...ye sab sorry....maafi.....ye sab kya mazaak hai neil...? Do you really think ki tumne jo kiya uski maafi hai....?
Tumne socha ki main tumhe maaf kar dungi.....? Huh......kitni asani se keh diya SORRY.
SORRY...?.....Sorry ka matlab bhi jaante ho tum....?

Nhi neil......I AM SORRY...lekin main tumhe maaf nhi kar sakti. Toh isiliye please apni ticket krao...or vapis chle jao. PLEASE.
she joined hands in front of him and told him to go back....

Neil felt speechless. He has no words to defend himself. Because avni was right. He felt guilty and helpless.

Avni looked at him in anger. She then turned around and start walking away.......

Neil : AARYA HUMARI BETI HAI NA AVNI...!
he said and avni immediately stopped hearing this....She was shocked and freezed on the spot.

She slowly turned around. She again got nervous and didn't know how to react.

Neil looked in her eyes and said....

Neil : Main janta hun.... Main Delhi me karan or saisha se mila. Un...unhone mujhe aarya ke baare me btaya...

Avni was silent. This is the only thing for which she cant revolt back with him.

Neil came forward to her and said....

Neil : Please Avni.....Humara baat karna zaruri hai. MERE LIYE NA SAHI.....LEKIN AARYA KE LIYE...?
he said looking in her eyes......
