Chapter Ten

You were rubbing your pregnant belly. It's already been 8 months and your due date was very soon. Currently, it was snowing over Sindria, making it the perfect winter wonderland. Ja'Far was out in town, shopping for things to make for dinner {and grabbing you sweets for your cravings because we all know how you get when you're hungry}. Sinbad was currently asleep in his room, since he stayed up last night with you. The doctors said your baby should be coming very soon and everyone thought it would come last night.

You got out of bed and waddled into the kitchen, tired of waiting for Ja'Far. You grabbed a small little jar and opened it, expecting to find chocolate chip cookies. Instead, you found nothing but air. You gasped and dropped the little jar, causing it to break at your feet.

"F*CK"

You tried to bend over to pick up the glass but you couldn't because of your swollen stomach. Just then, Ja'far came in and set the groceries on the counter. He smiled at you, then looked at the ground and frowned.

"Y/n...."

He carefully picked you up, not caring if he stepped on the glass since he had shoes on, and set you on the counter.

"How did this happen?"

He questioned as he began to sweep the glass up.

"I was tired of waiting for your slow ass and I wanted a cookie but the jar was empty."

Ja'far glared at you slightly. He grew annoyed of your hormones very quickly but decided to be patient with you. Lord he just wanted the child to be out of you.

"Next time, be patient and wait."

You whined.

"But I grew hungryyyyy!"

Ja'far sighed as he put the glass in the trash can. He walked over to the groceries and handed you a cookie. You happily devoured it and smiled widely at him.

"Thank you!"

Ja'far snorted at your sudden change in mood and helped you off the counter.

"Why don't you go lay in bed and I'll bring you dinner when it's ready?"

You said a quick ok and kissed him on his cheek. You shuffled over to your shared room and lay quietly in the bed. Aladdin came bursting in as you closed your eyes.

"Hey y/n! Sinbad says the baby is supposed to come soon! Will it?!"

He was so excited he jumped into the bed next to you, causing you to bounce a little. You laughed and ruffled his hair.

"Yes, my due date was yesterday."

Aladdin looked surprised and placed his ear next to your stomach.

"Is the baby okay? Why hasn't it come out yet?"

You shook your head with a smile as the baby kicked.

"Why don't you ask her?"

Aladdin's face lit up like a Christmas tree.

"It's going to be a girl?! Am I going to have a baby sister?!"

You laughed even more. "Yes Aladdin, the doctors told us that the baby was a girl."

"Alibaba was so sure that it would be a boy!"

"Well, he's wrong."

Aladdin jumped off the bed and ran out of the room, giggling and smiling. You laid back in bed and closed your eyes, gently drifting off to sleep.

~time skip to night~

The moonlight shone delicately through your open window. {wait, did I say open? Oh yeah, author-chan has a thing with windows}. The gently midnight breeze ruffled your blankets a tad bit as you shifted your swollen body closer to Ja'Far. He shifted a little and turned to you, half awake and half asleep. He wrapped an arm around your waist, gently over your belly, and pulled you closer to him. You smiled in your sleep, he was protective even when you were in bed. You gently pressed a kiss to his nose, a soft little delicate love tap. His eyes slowly twitched open and he buried his face in your neck.

"(Y/n)....you should go back to sleep."

You shook your head. "Honey, im not that tired. I can't stop thinking about when our baby will come."

He pulled away a little bit so he could look at your face. He placed a soft hand on your cheek, caressing it with his thumb.

"You worry too much. Everything will come normally and naturally. You can't be too exact with due dates."

You shivered and nuzzled closer to your lover. "I know, but it would make life easier if she were already out of me."

Ja'Far placed a hand behind your head, pushing you into him so his body wrapped around you, bringing more heat to your cold body.

"She will come when she is ready."

You sighed and nuzzled into his bare chest. {Yes, he sleeps without a shirt on because you asked him to. And by ask, I mean you yelled at him to take his shirt off before you ripped it off}. A rustle outside of your window made Ja'Far pull away from you, causing you to groan as your heat source had just left. He sat up and slid his legs over the side of your bed. Standing, he grabbed his knives from his bedside table and walked to the window.

"Ja'Far? Why'd you leave me?" You pouted, sounding a little annoyed.

He placed a finger over his lips as he turned to you.

He shouldn't have taken his eyes off the window.

As soon as he began to turn his head back to the window, a knife skimmed his cheek. Fresh blood slowly seeped out of the new wound as Ja'Far squinted his eyes towards the figure sitting in the tree closest to him.

"(Y/n), go to Sin's room...."

You opened your mouth to protest but your 'honeybuns' beat you to it.

"Don't try arguing with me! Just go!"

You slid out of the bed as quickly as you could and began to waddle to the door, the baby kicking in protest.

"Ah, I don't think leaving would be a could thing." A voice behind you said.

Ja'Far grit his teeth. "How the hell did you get in here?"

The voice laughed and grabbed you before you could open the door. It placed a knife to your throat and slowly applied pressure. "I have orders from the chief to take you alive, but he said if there's a struggle that I can kill you where you stand. And since he's not here, he can't tell if there's a struggle~."

It moved to make a slit in your throat but stopped suddenly as you were shoved to the door.

"Go (y/n)! Go find Sin!"

Ja'Far didn't even look at you as he said those words since he was too busy beating the shit out of the it. You wasted no time in getting out of that room. You knew your chances of fighting it and winning were slim, so you had to go to Sin. You just hope Ja'Far can make it out of there alive.

You reached Sinbad's room and entered. You didn't knock because you were in such a frenzy but oh how you wish you had. Sinbad sat in a velvety chair.

Pants down and jacking off.

As soon as he saw you his face grew beat red.

He just came.

"(Y-y/n)...h-hello...."

You slammed the door shut and waited for him to clean up. A few moments later he opened the door, face still beat red. He awkwardly coughs.

"Sorry...you had to see that...."

You shook your head slightly and pushed past him. "Ja'Far ordered me to come to you. There's an assassination-"

You were cut off as water slid down your leg.

"OH COME THE F*CK ON."

Ja'Far appeared in the doorway, blood covering his bare chest. It looked as though most of it wasn't his, but he did have a few more cuts. He was panting and placed a hand against the wall, trying to catch his breath.

"(Y/n), are you o-", he glanced down at the pool of water by your feet, "oh you've got to be kidding me. Now? Of all tim-".

He was cut off again by a knife pinning itself in his shoulder. He cursed to himself and pulled it out.

"Sin, go take (y/n) to Yamraiha. I'll deal with this b*****d."

Sinbad complied and picked you up bridal style. He turned towards Yamraiha's room and started walking, but he wasn't able to go far.

"Aw, you are no fun, Ms. (y/n). Chief Arron only wanted to see the baby."

It paused for a few moments.

"And you."

It rushed past Ja'Far and took you out of Sinbad's arms, cradling you in its arms.

"I see you haven't killed Ja'Far like I ordered you to, (y/n)."

You and Ja'Far both recognized that voice.

Arron.

You opened your mouth to protest but a squeak came out instead of words. You placed your hands on your stomach, biting your lip in pain. Arron laughed and held you closer to him.

"Now, if you don't mind, I have a baby to meet~." He looked at your stomach. "Hello Ms. Ja'Far~ Meet your Grandpa Arron~."

He began to walk away with you when Ja'Far threw a knife at his back. Arron winced a little bit and pulled the knife out, casually throwing it behind him and back at Ja'Far, who caught it with ease.

"You think I'm going to let you kill my daughter?" He angrily breathed out.

"Does it look like I care what you think?" Arron replied as he started to sprint away with you.

Sinbad glared at Arron and called upon his djinn Baal.

But by then it was too late. Arron was gone and so were you. Ja'Far cursed and coughed up a little blood. "Damn it...."

May waddled out of her room with Aladdin, rubbing her tired little eyes.

"What happened to Big brother Ja'Far?" Her tired innocent voice rang through the ears of everyone. Ja'Far sighed and gently picked her up.

"Big brother and big sister are just playing a game of tag. You should go back to sleep with Aladdin and Alibaba."

Alibaba popped his head out of the doorway. "What's going on?"

Ja'Far sighed and handed May to Alibaba. "Get her to sleep please." He turned to Sinbad. "And you, go back to sle-"

Masrur placed a hand on Ja'Far's uninjured shoulder. "You know we can't do that until we get (y/n) back." Morgianna appeared from behind Masrur, seeming worried. "Who do I need to track down?"

Ja'Far sighed again. "It's not someone that you can track easi-"

"He went limping towards the north and was losing lots of blood so he couldn't have gotten far." Morgianna replied with a small smile. "Please go bring her back safely."

Ja'Far didn't waste a second as he sprinted out of the castle. He followed the trail of blood and hid in the shadows. Ja'Far didn't know how long he was running for but he finally found where Arron went. Back to Sham Lash's camp. Ja'Far snuck as close as he could so he could listen to what Arron was telling one of the nurses.

"Make sure that the baby gets to me unharmed. Oh, and keep (y/n) alive as well. I'll use her as a sex slave while I raise her daughter."

Ja'Far angrily threw a knife at the chief, barely grazing his cheek. "Guess we can share a scar." Ja'Far snickered as he got ready to throw another knife.

"Ah. Another father and son bonding moment." Arron whispered to himself. "Do I not get to see my granddaughter?" {Let's just pretend he killed a step-father and mother and that no one knew where his real father was until after Ja'Far left.}

Ja'Far got into a defensive position and studied his 'father'. "We are not blood related, and we never will be."

Ja'Far looked ready to kill everything in sight when he heard your screams of pain. He made a move to rush past Arron and into the cabin you were being held in when he felt a rope wrap around his neck and yank him back. He choked and held the rope, trying to make it loosen so he could breathe a little. It worked to an extent, but it was difficult to breathe.

"Now, is that how you treat your father? Running away from a talk with your parents is a bad thing, you know."

Ja'Far glared up at his father and spit. "You have no right to take (y/n) and my daughter away from me."

"Oh, but do I ever follow by the rules?"

Arron used the end of his rope to whip Ja'Far in the arm, leaving a deep red mark. Ja'far winced and glared back at Arron once again. Arron continued to lash rough blows onto Ja'Far, laughing with every crack of rope hitting skin. Ja'far refused to show his father any glimpse of pain from his face. Even though it felt like a thousand nails diving into his skin, he knew that it would be the end of him if he let his dad win. He couldn't let that happen, not with a baby being born. He refused to let himself die on his daughter's birthday. He refused to leave you alone to care for the baby all by yourself. And most of all, he refused to let his father beat him again. Finally coming to his wits, Ja'Far swiftly cut the rope with his knife and tackled his father to the ground. He plunged his knife into Arron's chest, then throat, and finally his head, something he should've done when he killed his step-father and birth mother.

Assassin's stood there in shock and started to back away from Ja'Far. Fear entered their eyes as Ja'Far looked up and glared at them. They moved out of his way as he lumbered over to where you were. You had your eyes clothes and sweat dripped down your face.

"I AM SO NOT HAVING ANOTHER CHILD AFTER THIS!" You screamed out as you pushed your daughters head out.

"So glad I didn't miss ALL of this...." Ja'Far snakily remarked as he held onto your hand tightly.

You glanced at him as you were about to comment on his injuries when another erupt of pain shot through you.

"Ask your questions later and worry about May Jr." Ja'Far smiled gently at you.

You slapped him where the cut on his cheek was. Ja'Far took that as a sign to shut up.

~Many hours later~

You sat in your bed back at Sinbad's castle, cradling your newborn baby girl. You haven't decided on a name yet, since your thoughts were preoccupied with Ja'Far's slim chest- I mean face- I mean muscles, I mean-.

Sinbad entered the room with a sad face. "Have you decided on a name yet?"

You shook your head. "Haven't thought of one yet. Why? And why do you look so glum? Did something happen?"

Sinbad helped you out of bed and supported you as he led you down the hallway. You saw a pool of blood outside Alibaba's door, along with a note.

'Dear (y/n) and Ja'Far,

I figured you would want a baby shower gift, so if you are reading this then one of my subordinates has delivered the gift. I do hope the soul of the sacrifice has found its way into your newborn, since I know how much you love the sacrifice. Enjoy~!'

Your hands were shaking as you handed your daughter to Masrur, who looked terrified of the sleeping child, but complied anyway. You leaned against the door and slowly pushed it open. You started to cry at the sight you saw. You looked back at your daughter and noticed a certain resemblance that your daughter shared with someone. Not you, not Ja'Far, but a small girl with (h/c) hair. You turned to Sinbad with tears streaming down your face.

"I know what I'm going to call her." You wiped your tears with the back of your hand. You glanced back at the dead body on the floor.

At least May had a quick death. "Her name is May." You said through a shaky voice. "H-Her name...is May...."

{PLEASE DON'T KILL ME! *Author-chan has gone into hiding.* Anyway, I have considered making a sequel to this story but I am unsure about it right now. Maybe if this chapter gets 1000 votes? Anywho, thank you for reading Forever And Always! Stay lovely my lovelies!}
