Back in the auditorium, Kevin told Callie all about what happened between Cheryl and her mom and was making the announcement about recasting Cheryl.

" Due to some unforeseen circumstances," Kevin began. Fangs placed a hand on Kevin's shoulder, Kevin brushed it off. " Cheryl will no longer be playing the role of Carrie White."

" What? Why?" Toni demanded.

" Let's just say that Penelope Blossom isn't much of a stage-mom," Callie answered. People scoffed as Callie looked at Toni. " I think Cheryl's by the gym bleachers." Toni then grabbed her stuff and left, to go comfort Cheryl.

" In the meantime, Cheryl's understudy will assume the role," Kevin announced.

" Understudy?" Ethel questioned. 

" I appointed one after the sandbag incident," Kevin answered.

" Midge Klump," Callie announced, everyone turned and looked at Midge. Then they all clapped happily for her. Moments later Mrs. Cooper was on stage ready to perform her song with Midge.

" Stay here instead, just tell me what you'd like to do," Mrs. Cooper sang. " We'll talk and we'll laugh and I'll sing to you. And I promise we won't fight. Don't leave tonight." The two performed the choreography as they sang. " You don't know these people. They're not your friends. Carrie! They're only waiting to tear you in two."

"What if they like me?" Midge asked.

" Just like your father. They'll leave when they're through."

" They might like! They'll like me!" Midge argued.

" You're such a fool!" Mrs. Cooper sang looking at Midge. Everyone raised their eyebrows, Mrs. Cooper was something very real. " Aren't you aware how people deceive? They'll take you and break you. And then, they will leave you. Carrie, Carrie. Carrie. You are the love I was betrayed for my pride and my shame. My Betty" Mrs. Cooper soon got on her knees in tears. " We're one and the same. Don't go. Don't go. Don't go." Mrs. Cooper then bowed her head to hide her tears.

" Mom?" Betty asked. 

" Don't leave me, Betty," Mrs. Cooper cried. " Don't leave me like all the others." Mrs. Cooper then leaves the stage sobbing, Betty went after.

" Am I directing a train wreck?" Kevin asked. " And where's my tea?"

" Guys, the programs are in, and they look amazing," Kevin announced as they walked over to everyone else. Everyone grabbed one to look at the, " Make sure to get them signed on opening night. 

" These look amazing," Callie gushed.

" All our names are on it," Kevin said walking over to her. " Even yours."

" Really?" Callie asked.

" Maybe this way we can all get recognized, just in case scouts come in," Kevin said.

Morning of the opening night, Fred Andrews was at the flower shop with a couple of others. He picked up a bundle of flowers when he saw Hal Cooper.

" Getting flowers for Betty?" Fred asked walking over to him.

" Along with Alice," Hal answered. " I want to go back home, I miss them."

" That's really great Hal," Fred said as he picked up a bundle of flowers.

" Those for Callie?" Hal asked.

" Yeah, I always give her flowers on big occasions like this," Fred answered. " Archie isn't much of a flower person."

" Maybe you should change it up and get peonies with me," Hal advised. " That way she doesn't the same bundle of flowers." Fred gave him a weird look, Hal nodded his head in a direction. Fred turned around to see Sweet Pea with the same kind of flowers as him. 

" Sweet Pea," Fred called out, the young serpent looked over at the two adults, he then walked over to them. " Who are those flowers for?"

" Callie," Sweet Pea answered.

" Are you planning to swoon the young Andrews?" Hal asked.

" If it's alright with you Mr. Andrews, I would like to ask your daughter out," Sweet Pea confirmed.

" Are you asking for my blessing?" Fred looked at him oddly.

" Possibly," Sweet Pea answered.

" The fact that you are asking me is quite bizarre," Fred answered. " Go put those flowers back." Sweet Pea did as he was told and came back.

" I'm guessing it's a no," Sweet Pea stated.

" Give her these," Fred answered handing him the flowers he picked out. " I will get her different ones."

" Are you really giving this Serpent to be with your daughter Fred?" Hal asked.

" Serpent or not, if the boy makes my daughter happy, then that is all that matters," Fred answered. " When are you asking her?"

"After the musical," Sweet Pea answered. " From your perspective, do you think she will no?"

" I am not one to expose my daughter's secrets," Fred answered. " I am going to go purchase these, then go home before I say something that I shouldn't." When he got home he saw Callie in the kitchen eating a piece of toast. " There she is." Callie looked up and smiled.

" Thanks, dad," Callie smiled as he handed her the flowers. " They are beautiful."

" Are you nervous?" Her dad asked as he pulled out a vase.

" Just a little," Callie admitted. " But I am more excited." 

" What's the most nerve wrecking part?" Her dad asked as Callie cut the ends of the flowers as her dad filled the vase with water.

" Kevin says that there might be scouts showing up," Callie answered. " And maybe if they like the choreography they will talk to me."

" I thought you wanted to be an attorney like mom? her dad asked as Callie put the flowers in the vase.

" Attorney with a side hobby of choreography," Callie said. Before they could say anything Archie walked in from outside. He then dragged them to the garage.

" Let me show you and dad something." He led the two down to the garage.

" Don't you two have a show to get ready for?" their dad asked as they walked into the garage.

" Yeah, we do," Callie answered.

" But this couldn't wait," Archie said. They saw a tarp thing covering a vehicle. " I gave back the Firebird, Dad. And I sold some of my music stuff so I could buy this off of Junkyard Steve. He pulled back a blanket, revealing an old beat up car. They looked in awe at Archie, walked around, and touched the car. " It needs a lot of work, Dad, but I'm up for it if you are."

" You better get going, Arch and Cal," their dad advised. His voice started to crack. " I don't want either of you to be late."

Now everyone was in the dressing rooms getting ready for opening night.

" You ain't seen nothin' yet," Everyone sang together. " It's gonna be a night you'll never forget. You ain't seen nothin' yet. It's gonna be a night we'll never forget."

" This will be just great," Archie sang.

" Oh, my life is gonna take flight," the girls sang as they started to dance the choreography a little. " Can't wait till Saturday night. Yeah."

" Eighty bucks for a tux?" Kevin sang.

" Damn, we better get laid," Moose sang going up to Kevin.

" You've been praying for that since that the 7th grade," Midge sang walking in between the two.

" It's the least we deserve after everything we've paid," Mrs. Cooper sang as she fixed her hair.

" Got the food," Archie sang.

" Got the drinks," Chuck sang grabbing Archie's hand.

" Got the limo for ten," Veronica sang as she pulled Archie away.

" And we won't get a chance like this again," they all sang together. All the boys got together.

" We'll be leaving as boys but we're coming home as men," the boys sang together.

" This will be just great," Chuck sang as they all went back into choreography. " Yeah, my life is gonna take flight."

" Can't wait till Saturday night," Callie sang. They walked out of the dressing room.

" You ain't seen nothing yet," Toni sang. They all passed by Jughead who carried the camera.

" You ain't see nothin' yet," they all sang. " It's gonna be a night we'll never forget." Then they were all on stage, Callie was happily dancing and singing along with the cast for the dress rehearsal before the big show. " You ain't seen nothing' yet. It's gonna be a night we'll never forget. You ain't seen nothin' yet. It's gonna be a night we'll never forget. You ain't seen nothin' yet. It's gonna be a night we'll never forget. In the auditorium, people were beginning to fill in the seats. Sweet Pea just showed up with flowers in his hands, he looked up to see FP who also held flowers.

" Who are the flowers for?" Sweet Pea asked.

" Alice," FP answered. " What are those flowers for?"

"Callie," Sweet Pea answered. " I'm going to ask her to be my girlfriend after the musical." FP then walked up Sweet Pea in a bit of a threateningly way.

" You break her heart, and I will break you," FP threatened.

" Shouldn't her dad or brother be threatening me with that line?" Sweet Pea asked.

"I used to be in a band with her father, I knew her since she was a baby," FP explained. " She's like a second daughter. So, I'm warning you."

"Got it FP," Sweet Pea confirmed. " Just so you know, I got her father's blessing this morning"

" What a gentleman," FP teased before going to find his seat.

Everyone was now in the back getting ready.

" Ten minutes to places!" Kevin asked a girl. " Where is Fangs?"

" I don't know," She answered before walking away. Kevin found Fangs and then soon walked over to Callie.

" Are you ready?" Kevin asked.

" Yes," Callie answered. " And so is the rest of the cast, we have rehearsed this a billion times, we are all ready for." 

" Thanks," Kevin breathed before walking away. " Five minutes to places, people."

 A little way into the play, it was now a scene between Mrs. Cooper and Midge. She was up against the wall, looking up at the cross. Callie stood on the sidelines watching with everyone else, waiting for the next scene she had to be out on stage. In the audience, Sweet Pea sat with the Serpents, flowers in his hand.

" Father Almighty she's only a child!" Mrs. Cooper sang. " But the woman is waking inside her. She will be lost if passion runs wild. So I can't let her stumble and fall. Maybe I do things that I can't explain. But my feelings for her never change. You are still my precious one. Can you forgive what I've done?" Callie was smiling happily at well the choreography was going. " All right, Carrietta, it's time to come out of your closet. The prop rose, and people gasped. Tears watered up in Callie's eyes and her heart dropped. Midge was pinned to the board with knives, crucified, instead of on her knees singing. In blood was written ' I BACK FROM THE DEAD. ALL THOSE WHO ESCAPED ME BEFORE WILL DIE...B.H."

" Somebody should help her. For God's sake, help her!" Cheryl cried out. Mrs. Cooper turned around and let out a terrifying scream, the audience started screaming, they got up and tried to make their way out of the building as fast as possible. In the crowd, Sweet Pea stood up, the flowers fell out of his hand and onto the floor.

" Callie," he breathed in a panic before making his way towards the front with Jughead.
