Dealing with anxiety and depression was difficult for niomi. She always felt like she was alone. In a world of her own, with nobody to tell her it's okay. But never did she ever think that she was creative in any sort of way. Various different auditions she attended resulted in her not getting the part. Well I guess that was pot luck if you got the part right?

But giving up isn't the answer. Niomi slammed down her bag on the table and grunted in despair. She ran upstairs and hid! like a tortoise never ever wanting to come out of its shell. Her bed was a hideaway. She received a text.

*BLEEP BLEEP!*

It was Christie.

"Hey girly how u doin? I was thinking we could meet Marcus and that other dude?"

Niomi read the text and sighed.

" you mean the dude named Warren? Yeah my typical crush that won't ever like me!!!😭" she replied with a tear in her eye.

The emotions kicked in, niomi had liked him since primary school. That first day in year two when they were playing in the sand and when 'pretend marriages' were a thing. She suddenly remembered their fake marriage where they got married and they almost kissed but the bell went, in fact niomi had never had her first kiss. All of the other girls in her year (10) had gotten their first kiss. most of them had already had their 'first time' too. Which meant that she was behind. In fact most girls have their first time before 16.

when a boy likes a girl they go crazy about a girl. Just like warren when he liked Niomi. Niomi didn't like him in that way; its switched, how?

*BLEEP BLEEP!!!*

it was Christie again.

"Hey, he likes you! You know he does. The way he acts, smiles, dresses and even tells you most of his secrets bring me to conclusion that he in fact likes you too much. It's your perfect time to be a couple, both of you haven't even had your first kiss yet. I will get him to ask you out on a date, only if it makes you feel better?"

Niomi read the message about 10 times, weirdly Christie for once was helping her with her love life. Maybe because everybody laughed at Niomi because she hadn't lost her virginity yet! but I mean that's a personal issue.

Clearly a smile was planted on to Niomi's face. Just weirdly she felt the urge to shout and scream with excitement. This could be the start of something new with warren. Her song to him would be by Sam smith lay me down.

She started to have a singing session in her room, until her brother and his friends walked in. (Ahh awks!) she thought! however they were impressed, not everyday a boy compliments a girl like this. It's quite sad actually because niomi didn't want a relationship where the boy would never compliment her or hug her properly. Also she wouldn't want somebody who cheated on her and made her feel worthless. If she had to be completely honest if she had a boyfriend and fancied somebody else then it would probably because he doesn't care enough, or maybe that he doesn't dedicate enough time to her. "Erm what are you doing Niomi? " questioned Liam.

"Practising for an audition, bad style...err im supposed to sing very badly so my voice gets warmed up!!" Niomi replied totally embarrassed!

"Well actaually your 'bad' Singing is quite good, how about tonight you sing to us in Liam's room?" Tom said using quotations at the 'bad' part.

"Yeah sure! 7pm?" She replied blushing!!!

Oh no! She thought,she might be starting to like her brothers friends!!!! but how would she deal with it? they are like round their house all of the time; they practically live there.

STOP THESE STUPID THOUGHTS! She told her brain. Warren would only ever be the one for her.

Boys Never understand how much they can hurt a girls feelings just by a simple act. But she could confess her love , but that would be too soon.

BUZZ BUZZ!!

It was warren. With a worried look dotted on her face she looked up at her phone.

"WHY WOULD YOU DO THIIS TO ME?" Niomi started to cry, she had done nothing wrong but was blamed for purely doing nothing. she lived warren so why would she do anything to upset him?

All she ever did was be nice to that boy but guess what? He betrays her every tim. He moans at her like they are husband and wife and he calls her lhorrid names behind her back. Is what her friends said behind her back. Although she never knew this, every single one of them had the urge too.

Niomi had never really been the 'pretty type' but she often got called ugly. Even though she was actually pretty most days, but she wasn't and still isn't ever told she is beautiful. Which I guess sometimes makes a girl feel insecure and it makes her want to wear makeup to hide her flaws. Imperfections should be shown, but not by the people who see them.

"What have I done warren? " she replied with tears streaming down her face.

A few moments later he replied with something like this:

"You told your best friend my secret!! and you told her something that I purely trusted you with"

How could he jump to conclusion that Niomi had told somebody when she clearly hasn't. Boys boys boys...

Some make you feel worthless and some make you feel discouraged. But the main point is the ones who make you feel safe and secure and don't push you to do anything.

"I never told anybody warren!!! I wouldn't tell any of your secrets. Maybe Jen told somebody your secret. You told her too. But why assume its me?" Niomi typed in fear.

BLEEP BLEEP!!!!

It was warren. Answer or decline. Answer or decline she thought well the possible outcome for decline would be to avoid the situation but accepting would mean that telling him she loves him would be much easier. So she clicked accept/answer.
