"What?" Sophie asked in a very unconvincing manner. "Nothing..."

"Sophie!" Biana chastised. "You shouldn't lie to us."

Sophie looked down and blushed. "They're making me choose."

"Choose what?" Linh asked.

"Between them."

"Between Fitz, Dex, Keefe, and Tam?" Biana spat.

Sophie rolled her eyes. "Between Fitz, Dex, and Keefe."

Linh fidgeted. "Who are you going to pick?"

"I don't know!" Sophie flopped backwards, right into a whip-cream-pie. She sat back up and tried to get some of the whip cream out of her hair. "I don't want to hurt Dex or Keefe's feelings, but..."

"Yes!"

"What, Biana?"

"I knew you liked my brother," she said smugly.

"Uh... who said that?" Sophie asked nervously as she twined and un-twined her whip-creamed-fingers. "Fine. I do like him, and now you have to tell me who you like."

"Who do you like again?"

"Dude!" The girls looked back in time to see Fitz smack Keefe with Dex behind the two of them.

"Hey..." he said nervously. Biana stood up.

"Can't we have some privacy?!"

"We aren't at home, sis."

"Where's Tam?" Linh asked, saving Fitz from getting smacked.

"Right here." Shadows moved apart to reveal Linh's mysterious brother. "I already know what's going on, so..."

"What he's saying is, we dragged him up here," Dex explained.

"Well, drag him back downstairs!" Biana snapped.

"Uh, I still have a question."

"What, Keefe?" Linh asked tiredly.

"Who are you gonna pick?!"

Sophie closed her eyes and pointed her finger out, moving it around until it settled into a spot. Pointing right at Keefe.
