"Carly Winter, if you don't get up now I'm going to throw this bucket of water on you." My mum shouted on the top of her voice to wake me up.

I jumped out of bed in fear of getting wet and ran to the bathroom whilst screaming:

"I'm awake, I'm awake."

I brushed my teeth and as I was doing so, I decided to poke myself in the eye with my toothbrush!

"Ahh" I whined in pain.

I looked into the mirror to see toothpaste all over my eye. I washed it down and finished brushing my teeth then left for my room again. I fetched my wardrobe for some clothes and grabbed my garments from the broken cupboard then scanned my bed for my phone. I grabbed a pair of blue jeans and a white frilly t-shirt to compliment the silver earrings I clutched. I got dressed in a hurry then applied makeup to my face to hide the hideous bags under my eyes. My eyes sparkled with the silver eye shadow that was put onto it and I allowed my lips to stick to each other as I rubbed the red lipstick against them.

I seized my white clutch and ran out the room and flew down the stairs. I grabbed a pancake and stuffed it into my mouth then gave my mun a kiss on her forehead and waved goodbye. I was out the door in two minutes!

"Carly what about your...breakfast" my mum tried saying just before I zoomed out of the house.

"I'll have this pancake on the way, mum." I shouted as I entered my red Lamborghini.

"Oh my! What will I ever do with this girl?" I heard my mum mutter as the front door shut.

I pulled my keys out of my bag and inserted them into my car and started it up. I drove as fast as I could.

I can't be late to this; it is my only chance. I thought to myself as I reached a red traffic light.

"Why do I always end up in traffic when I'm running late?" I angrily wondered.

A few minutes later I finally reached my destination. I stopped the car, grabbed my keys and rushed to the entrance. My heart started to race as I opened the big white doors using the metal handles. This is it. I'm finally going to achieve my dream. I will soon become a professional nurse and work in a famous hospital. I entered Spring White Medical Centre and walked to the Talk Room. I noticed many other nurses there but I saw no manager. I sat down on an empty chair and saw a young nurse sitting next to me. Her hands were shaking, her forehead was sweating and her eyes were popping out. I placed a hand on her thighs and tried to comfort her.

"Don't worry! Everything's going to go fine. My name's Carly Winter by the way."

She raised her frightened head and looked at me with a smile then let out a small chuckle.

"Thanks. My name's Carys Heart. How are you not nervous?" The girl replied.

"Oh sweetie believe me! I'm as scared as a cat when they see a dog. I'm just trying to "keep my cool"." I laughed.

We both shared a laugh and chatted some more until a loud voice echoed across the room. I looked up cautiously to meet eyes that held a beautiful ocean with a sparkle floating around it. Brown hair swayed to a side- hiding an eye- with fingers brushing through it. The beautiful figure wore a blue blazer that was on top of a white shirt that had a navy tie covering the silver buttons. The blue trousers went well with the shiny black shoes that were worn by feet that were slowly stepping closer and closer towards me. The body got more and more closer until I had no more space to breath. The chest of the standing figure came closer to my face as my mesmerised eyes scanned the remaining of the body. I stood up and greeted him by saying hello and introducing myself.

"Well then. Look around guys. Everyone's wearing these simple pants and random colored tops whilst this young girl here is the only one actually bothered about today!" The man announced.

"We all should know by now that first impressions are important. So rather than slouching against the door frame with your tracksuit bottoms on, start sitting down sensibly with a formal attire. You look stunning..." He paused to learn my label that I wore.

"Carly Winters." I whispered

"Carly Winters" The tall guy stated.

He commamded me to leave from the room and go to his office which was located upstairs. I listened to my order and silently left the room to make my way up the metal stairs. I got scared wondering as to what wil happen until I heard the door click open. He entered the room and we were sitting on a sofa talking about the job.

"So Carly, you think you got what it takes to work here?" Mr Harris asked me.

"I believe it's attitude that takes us far in life sir. I may not have the ability yet but with the right attitude I'll be saving lives before I know it." I replied with courage.

"Confident. I like it." He complimented.

"Well someone's gotta show bravery around here!" I uttered.

"I like your attitude Ms Winters. I'm offering you this job with a £5500 pay every month as long as you are willing to work from seven in the morning until eleven at night every Monday to Friday. However, this pay can be increased to £6000 every month if you work Saturdays' as well from ten in the morning until seven at night. What do you say?" He offered me.

"I'll take the second one. I answered with courage.

"Great, i'm excited to see you on the job Ms Winters! You start from next week." He stood up and shook my hand.

I gave my farewell then left the hospital and got into my car. On my way home, all I could think about was him. Charlie will be so happy when I tell him I got the job. As soon as I reached home, I entered the house and screamed in excitement.

"I got in." I shouted.

My excitement dropped as no one responded to me.

"Is anyone home? Mum, dad?" I questioned.

I fell out of my confusion as my phone vibrated heavily on my hand.

We've gone out to a dinner. Get ready and come. The address is H45 8QM. I read the text in confusion.

H45 8QM? Mum never told m... No! It can't be. Ugh! I told her that I didn't want to get married to anyone other than Charlie but no. I went upstairs and called Charlie. He didn't respond so I sent him a text then got ready to leave.

I got accepted! I'm going out for dinner now with mum for...you know what... I swear I won't let anything happen don't worry. I texted Charlie.

Just as I was about to leave the house, Charlie responded to me but his response was strange. It was...different. Why did he say that? I left the house thinking about that text. Why would he say that to me? Tears suddenly filled my eyes and my vision became blurry. I stopped the car and just sat there crying. Why does this happen to me? What have I done? I always thought he loved me! I smacked the car wheel and an eye caught me. The eye looked very familiar. I raised my head to see Mr Harris looking through the window asking if I'm okay or not...
