Susana hadn't been answering Oscar's calls or his phone for a few days. She hadn't heard from Matias either. She actually felt good, somehow free. She'd planned to go to the cinema after work with a good friend who knew everything. So, when she went out of work and had a little walk, Oscar was waiting for her against a tree. She froze. Was she meeting him? Turn around and go somewhere else? She wasn't sure when Oscar came up to her. Then, someone tapped her on the shoulder and said something.

– Hey Susana!

She looked back and there was Matias. She looked at Oscar and told Matias to go away and they'd talk later.

But Matias didn't get it and stayed put.

- Hi Susana. 

Said Oscar, leaning over to give her a kiss. He looked at Matias and said:

- Hello. Oscar the boyfriend!

And shook his hand

Matias put out his hand, but he didn't say anything. Then, out of the blue, there was this awkward silence.

- Yeah, it's Oscar, my boyfriend. I told you about him.

Susana finally managed to react.

Matias also agreed.

- Well, I've got to go. It was nice to meet you.

He said, turning to Oscar. He just smiled dismissively and nodded.

They were both silent.

- Well, you didn't do too badly after all.

Susana said, almost mumbling and with a shy smile.

- I wanted to smash his face in. But I tried hard for you.

Susana kissed him.

They held hands and left.

For a while, Susana and Oscar's life returned to normal. Oscar became more possessive. He always wanted to know where Susana was, what she was doing, what she was going to do, but Susana gave him a break after Matias.

That day, Susana was leaving the library when she received a phone call. Matias, it was Matias. She didn't know what to do, was she going to answer? She preferred to ignore it. She left.

She'd brought a car today. She walked towards it in the car park. As she got into the car she felt a sting and that was all.
